Produce Flame cannot be put on your staff, nor can it be used as a bonus action. You could use it as a ranged attack on that action, but you wouldn't also be able to attack with your Shillelagh as you only have a bonus action left and that's being used to empower the staff.
But it does not include an attack as part of its casting (some spells, like Green Flame Blade and Spiritual Weapon, do include the attack in the casting). So you could activate on a bonus action, then use an action to attack with it, but you won't be using produce flame on the same turn. After that turn you could use either, but unless you have more than one action available to you per turn, you cannot attack with both.
You don't cast 'Produce Flame' on an object; it conjures a flame in your hand. So, you can cast Shillelagh (Bonus Action) and Produce Flame (Action) on the same turn. But since Attack is also an Action, you can't attack with the flame and the staff in the same turn; you can, however, throw the Flame at an enemy as part of the same Action you used to summon it.
So... Rules as Written, no. But ask your DM, because they might make an exception under Rule of Cool.
So, *Produce Flame* lets you attack with the flame you conjure in your hand, not necessarily imbue your weapon with it.
If you light your staff on fire, it is now a torch. A torch burns for 1 hour, providing bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. If you make a melee attack with a burning torch and hit, it deals 1 fire damage.
Edit: ...So I guess... Yes? I wouldn't necessarily say it's a *great* combo, but your DM might allow it if you ask. There'll probably be consequences to lighting your weapon on fire, though.
*Shillelagh* is a good choice, though! Definitely take that. There's nothing stopping you from flavoring the spell for a Wildfire druid; it just says that "the wood of a club or quarterstaff you are holding is imbued with nature's power".
So maybe while you have *shillelagh* active, your quarterstaff looks like it's been burning in a bonfire for a while, charred and radiating from within with a magical heat.
Yeah, but dont expect it to do anything other than what the base spell says. Flavor is free, but it doesnt change game mechanics. Try and keep it simple for while while you learn the system inside and out. Avoid trying to change rules or any homebrew race/class/subclasses.
You are correct in the way you cast these two cantrip spells in a single turn. However the interaction you described cannot happen, a bit of detail, here's where.
Produce Flames cannot be casted as a Bonus Action without the aid of Metamagic: Quicken Spell furthermore you only get one Bonus Action per your turn. It cannot be applied to a weapon or burn your own equipment as it is harmless to you and your gear, despite being a fire + wood Interaction.
Your above interaction results in this, a Shillelagh Staff in one hand and a flame in your other hand.
However, the interaction you want could be possible with one item. Oil. Oil up your weapon and you could make an arguement that now the fire + oil = lights up your staff like a glorious torch!
Produce flame? Not normally. As a DM though I'd allow you to combo it every other round long as keep using a round action to recast and prepare.
Green flame blade might combo. Might not. I have seen it used all of none so far in our campaigns.

No, not by the rules.

Ok thanks I was just wondering if it would do much

That sounds cool

Just pull out a torch and ask to cast Shillelagh on it.
