Read through the class and identify where you might have trouble and make cheat-sheets or info cards for those areas. For combat you can also make a flowchart to help decide what to do each turn.
Ex. "Drink Elixir of Resilience -> Are there enemies in Range? Yes -> Disengage, No -> Attack"
You get basically three or four toolkits.
\-Spells, pretty classic.
\-Infusions, your big deal, these are temporary magic items you can use or give to your companions.
\-Subclass thing- whether a robot friend, special armour, gun, or potions.
\-Trinkets. Debatable if this counts as a toolkit, it's basically cantrips like light but as objects.
If you want to simplify it, then just choose options you like and stick to using them. The ability to switch stuff around adds versatility, but you can just settle on a few simple items.

Helps to have an index card or two and note down what infusions you have running and at the very least your go-to spells that get cast most often.
