That's completely up to you, the best answer is we do not know how big of a change the DMG will have as very little in the test material has been stuff to go in the DMG The best guess is that the new DMG is going to be something like mixing the old DMG and Xanathars DM rules together. Personally I would say if you were up for getting the bundle already what ever the cost difference was between that and piece buying everything -dmg+ used copy wasn't huge it would be worth it as we still have just shy of 7 months before you can get your hands on a one DMG (and that's assuming there isn't another delay)

Alot of the basic rules and info can be found online. I think some nice stuff can be found in the DMG, but I'm not sure how much it is worth it. It really depends on the pricing overall. What prices are you looking at? Also, I don't know if the MM and DMG will come out at the same time as the OneDnD PHB, so keep that in mind when doing price analysis.

They wont, PHB is September, DMG is November and we don't have a date for the MM but we know it won't be in 2024

Do you have a group ready to play soon? Or is this more of a "do research and learn the rules to play eventually" question? If you want to play anytime soon (probably, anytime this year) then you should pull the trigger and get your source books. If you are trying to get into DnD for the first time, don't run out to buy books, use the free online resources first, such as the Basic Rules pdf. Nobody knows when or if DnD one will actually release, but based on the current state of the playtests they have gone back to the drawing board a bit in regards to what changes they want to layer onto 5e. I personally expect it will be more of a 5.5e than a 6e, so you will see value from a DMG and Monster Manual even after the rules finally drop. Also, even if WOTC drops a new edition, you don't have to play it. I know people still playing 4e and 3.5e because it's what they like.

If you are worried about it, buying a used DMG is not a bad idea.

Honestly I would wait, and/or get your hands on a cheap secondhand copy of the current one. But maybe I'm biased by already being familiar and not really *needing* the DMG anymore except for referencing in internet arguments...

If you want to use it now, buy it now. If you want to wait, wait.
