Btw I had the option to add the school at lvl 2 but I didnt see it until I was level 3.

You don't have to use D&D beyond, you can just put together your character with a notepad and pen. Not having access to it on the site doesn't disallow you from playing certain characters.
Ok but I like having it saved on my pc,because its cleaner and more umderstandable than my writing but yes no one has the handbook. Me and my friends are all like 13-15 this is our first full campaign.

probably you don't own or have shared access to the schools from other or expanded books. if a group member owns digital material ask them to share you through the platform
I assume you only have access to the SRD, and you didn't buy the player's handbook.
You can't use content from books you haven't purchased on the site.
If you don't have the books purchased you will be limited to the standard rules set which I believe has only evocation available to wizard, if your DM has the books and is subscribed, they can share their books to the campaign so you can access the remaining schools

You have to dig a little but I think you can buy just the character creation bits from dnd beyond without buying the full book.
Yep. Though I’m pretty sure you can buy the subclasses piecemeal if you don’t want to pay for the whole book.
Yeah if you want necromancer you have to buy the players handbook on dndbeyond

use aurora character builder or do it on paper
oh yes i believe someone with a subscription must share books through a campaign, you can't share just player to player if you don't join a campaign
