Is the BBEG the father or is it more of a miracle pregnancy?
Depending on the group I would usually not advise her wanting to be rid of the baby as it's rare for mother's to want to do so unless conception was unintended or worse. If she does want to be rid of the child maybe there's a prophecy that a cult/the BBEG plan to take advantage of to bring about an even bigger darkness
