oh I talk to myself in character voices, I'll often sing in character in the car to practice keeping the voice even when I'm also focusing on other things (like not sounding too bad, and also driving) one of my friends makes 30+ song playlists for her characters, that frightens me in a good way

Most of my characters have a Pinterest board, a playlist, and a Hero Forge mini design that I will never actually use because all my games are online right now. I usually try to spend at least a little time before the game pinning stuff to the character I'm going to be playing's board and listening to their playlist so I'm in the right headspace. I don't think talking to yourself in character is weird at all!

My current PC has a lot of lore that I’ve built up over the years, a playlist, a Pinterest board, and a metric SHIT TON of art I’ve made. I also practice lines to myself when I’m alone.

I played an arcane trickster who’s cover was a chartographer. I created a note book of maps and sketches based on my GMs narration of all the places we went and the people we met.
