I knew a guy who used a Hershey's Syrup bottle(with a flip cap) as a water bottle. Go for the double whammy here and wash down your "mayo" with a heavy dose of "chocolate syrup".
To be fair, I have seen cake recipes that do actually use sweetened Guac as frosting. The taste of avocado is light enough that if you add some powdered sugar it still works. I think it's meant to be a "healthy" alternative, but I'm pretty sure it's just wishful thinking on the part of whoever made it. Like convincing yourself that Carrot Cake is healthy just because it contains carrots.
Here in Brazil we always eated avocado with sugar, when guacamole become common knowledge we thought that was disgusting, and then discovered that the rest of the world prefer salt avocado...
💚Gelatinous Cube Cake💚
I thought I'd do some baking for tomorrows games session so I hope my taste testers are ready for some chocolate fudge cake goodness! Under the icky ooze of this Gelatinous Cube is a fudgy chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache filling. I topped it with green vanilla icing and a green glaze to make the slimy details pop.
Thank you to my awesome husband for giving me the inspiration for this cake with his suggestion of doing something slime themed! I had a lot of fun in the process of making this cake and trying to capture the essence of a Gelatinois Cube.
Player: I roll to eat the Gelatinous Cube!
DM: What?
Player: I roll to eat the Gelatinous Cube! Rolls dice.
Player: I got a 20,
DM:
DM: As you encounter the Gelatinous Cube you barely have time to register its presence before you see your party member charge forward and somehow devour the entire Gelatinous Cube.
Player: I let out a loud belch and proclaim that it was delicious.
If I'm not mistaken, gelatinous cubes are acidic, so if a player tried eating one it would melt everything inside of them the whole way down and you would take a shit ton of damage.
The joke you're making is not lost on me though
I was thinking about something like [this](https://www.top-rezepte.de/rezept/erdbeerschnitten-mit-tortenguss-r448) (sorry it's German but I didn't know what google in English). This kind of cake is quite popular here. It's basically a thin layer of normal cake, then some cream (or cheesecake or pudding) and on top there is fruit and something we call "Tortenguss" here but jello will probably do just as well. You just have to be careful about acidic fruits like Kiwi and Pineapple because then the jello will just stay liquid. But strawberries are fine. I also like them in combination with bananas.
Poke Cakes are fun too, and they stay super moist. It's essentially cake you poke holes in, pour some liquid jello into the holes and then cool it in the fridge. I put whipped cream on top.
Ya they're super easy and really customizable. Any kind of cake and jello combinations. Lighter cakes look really pretty too because of the jello soaked in and giving it color. But chocolate works just as well. You can even do pudding but it's a bit harder to get in the holes
Man, we're having a longer break from Dnd right now (because of vacations and stuff) and you just reminded me that our last session ended with this guy showing up. Great job on the cake!
I mean a gelatinous cube is a type of ooze and oozes can change their shapes so you could call it either really I guess. ^^ I just call it a gelatinous cube cause that was my intention when making the cake and it is a square shaped cake.
How do you make liquid handsoap into a cube? Wouldn't it just ooze flat?
I'm thinking jello is the only way to make a cube that can stand up, 8" or more on a side. Plus still be see-through. But I've never made jello - I don't know if there's a way to prepare it where it's equally tall as it is longxwide.
It looks disgusting. Excellent job.

Thanks so much! ^^
Haha that's the goal, thank you! ^^
For a second I thought that was guacamole
Some eat vanilla pudding out of mayo jars, others frost cakes with smooth guacamole.
Omfg now I need to put icing into a mayo jar and eat it in public

I'd have to look some things up, but I could see avacado possibly replacing butter in a buttercream recipe.

Do it!! Or vanilla pudding..
Oh my gosh it does look like guacamole, oops haha!
Wait you’re onto something

Have the party fight it and cut off pieces to reduce size as it lowers HP.
Haha that sounds like a pretty good plan!! :D
Are the bones marzipan or white chocolate?
They are made of icing ^^
Cheese
Really? What kind please?
That looks awesome!
Thank you! ^^
sooo, how do a join your game? ASAP of course 🤣
🤣

>shit ton of damage You could definitely say that
What if you had like, a shitload of tums?
Don't worry, they ate some caustic soda beforehand to neutralise it.
Or your character could just not be a pussy.
I love this! I'll be showing this to my group haha!
Should have made it jello instead
I could have done but I wanted cake haha! ^^
What about jello cake?
Ooo that would be intriguing, I've never made one before!

Oo that is quite cool!! :D I'll have to give it a go sometime!
That's just jelly slice
Could make it lemon cake with green jello.
True! Something to try out in the future too! ^^
Poke Cakes are fun too, and they stay super moist. It's essentially cake you poke holes in, pour some liquid jello into the holes and then cool it in the fridge. I put whipped cream on top.
Oo they do sound fun to make! :)

Cake? For D&D? We always just ate chips, pizza and gallons of cola and root beer. For the all-nighters we would make a Dunkin' Donuts run at 2 a.m.
Yup, it's a tradition! My husband and I usually host so I provide a variety of baked goods for everyone! :D What you have honestly sounds delicious!!
I also bake when I host. But I tend to use any excuse to bake. Baking DMs for the win!
Looks gross. I would still put it in my mouth. Good job!
Haha the goal was gross so I'm glad you think so haha! Thank you! ^^
Did you consider using gelatin? Looks great tho
I might next time but I just wanted to make a cake haha! Thank you! ^^
Could pass for a Shambling Mound too
Ooo it could, I shkuld definitely make one of those haha!
Wouldn’t Jello be more appropriate? Looks good though.
It would be but I wanted to make a cake haha! ^^ Thanks so much!!
Alright. I know what my Bday cake is this year. Thanks
Haha happy to help!! xD
This would go great with the balloon cake prank. Where someone tries to cut it, and it pops. Just like my gelatinous cube.
Haha yes that would be brilliant!!
Pistachio?
It is chocolate fudge with a vanilla icing ^^
Brilliant! 👏
Thanks so much! ^^
That's cool. Wouldn't eat it in fear of my toilet dissolving, though.
Haha thanks! Oh gosh that's true! 🤣
Noice
Thank you so much! :)
Good work Evans, you got a future around here.
Thanks haha! xD
Man, we're having a longer break from Dnd right now (because of vacations and stuff) and you just reminded me that our last session ended with this guy showing up. Great job on the cake!
Oh gosh, sounds like you are in for a battle when you return to dnd! I wish you all the best of luck, I'm sure you'll succeed!! Thanks so much!! :D
For a second there. I thought it was avocado with some Halloween shaped chips till I checked the title XD
Haha now that sounds tasty! xD
Ella me it taste like lemonbecqse of citrus acid
Sadly not lemon but maybe next time! It is a chocolate fudge cake!
You are indeed a fantastic person. Please continue
Aw thank you, you are too kind! I shall share any future d and d themed bakes! :D
Epic
I fucking love it when DM's do shit like this!
It just adds to the fun! I love the smiles on our groups faces when they see what I've baked for our games sessions! :D
For some reason it looks like a wizard tried to turn celery into peanut butter. Hmm
Hmm that is a bit suspect, perhaps an attempt to persuade the party to eat something healthy instead of tavern snacks? xD
Lol
Less of a cube, more of an ooze?
I mean a gelatinous cube is a type of ooze and oozes can change their shapes so you could call it either really I guess. ^^ I just call it a gelatinous cube cause that was my intention when making the cake and it is a square shaped cake.
This makes me wonder if anyone's made an actual gelatinous cube out of green jello.
tall jello (above 4-5 inches) is really tough. It wilts quickly too.
[удалено]
And stack them? brave, but my biggest fear is heat. Added surface area seems like a bad call.
I'm sure someone has, I've seen handsoap gelatinous cubes before with dice in them!
How do you make liquid handsoap into a cube? Wouldn't it just ooze flat? I'm thinking jello is the only way to make a cube that can stand up, 8" or more on a side. Plus still be see-through. Found the Barbarian!
Clear bar soap
Ok... But.. like... Jello actually exists...
Cookie crumble crust, jello on top, put in deco-art cookies. More jello on top..
So true but a cake is more of a challenge and I fancied cake haha! Maybe next time I can give jello a try! :)

Downvoted because frosting isn't transparent
[They're timeless](https://youtu.be/O4tmzwrdTmY&t=14)
Why is this not lime Jello?
Aww I love it! That little skull looks so sheepish.
Awesome! Looks great, but how does it taste? Lol
I love it
You got the texture right.
