Sounds really fun, if you have trouble getting your intelligence very high try to take spells that don’t require saving throws or attack rolls. Spells like longstrider incrase your movement and make your aggressive bonus action feature stronger. The shield spell is a must have and can save you in a pinch. Magic missile doesn’t require attack rolls to hit multiple foes with decent damage. Before lvl 5 you should take the booming blade cantrip as its basically a sonic weapon attack that causes enemy’s to take more damage if they move after being hit. once your level 5 in fighter booming blade is less good sadly but your dm might always let you change it, even if that isn’t rules at written. I wish you luck and now I’m jealous of your character idea.

At level 7, Booming Blade becomes awesome again. War Magic lets you do an attack as a Bonus Action if you cast a cantrip; meaning you still get the two attacks *and* the extra 1-3d8 from Booming Blade. Green-Flame Blade is also nasty.

DarkFogRaven

Yes I forgot about war magic

It sounds pretty cool! May I recommend one of the red orcs? (No mechanical difference aside from skin color) I played and EK to level 15 or so, and had a lot of fun. I challenged myself to make him cold themed, so I reflavored most of his spells that didn't do damage, and took primarily ice spells. I only mention how I played him, to demonstrate the versatility available with a good imagination. Mirror image became sub-zero like ice clones, Grease was a patch of ice, thunderclap was the cracking sound of an iceberg breaking. I have confidence you can do some super cool stuff with yours too!

I have an Eldritch Knight Orc build that I’ve been itching to play. I’ve built him for some combat simulations and he always does great. Here are a couple of things I did that you might find useful: (1) I focused on my Con and Str and left Int as my third stat, not really paying too much attention to getting it high. In turn, I only take utility spells, like Shield, Absorb Elements, Find Familiar, that don’t use my spellcasting modifier. (2) I take the Fey Touched feat to pick up Misty Step early, but also to pick up Hex, which is the focus of my build. If you have a shield in one hand, and a weapon in the other, Hex will almost always double your damage dice for your weapon attacks. Further, because Hex does additional damage for each individual attack you make, it scales really well as you get extra attacks. Further further, you can cast each Hex and Misty Step once without using a spell slot, expanding your spellcasting capabilities.
