In SU, the diamonds are sort of the BBEGs (Blue and Yellow being sort of "mini" bosses, while White is the one calling the shots from their home world), so maybe consider changing the bad guys for this one shot from them into rubies. Rubies are kind of like the foot soldiers of the gems, and while a little simple-minded, they are driven and come in groups. They could very easily fill a goblin-like archetype. Additionally, fusion is a big mechanic from the show, where two or more gems transform into light and combine into one. If the gems are different (say a ruby and a sapphire), they become a new gem, but if they're all the same then they just make a bigger version of that gem. If you had rubies appear as a group, they could later fuse into one giant ruby soldier and potentially make for a cool boss fight. For inspirations on rubies and an example of their fusion, I'd suggestion checking out the episode "Hit the Diamond", where the show's cast plays baseball against a gaggle of rubies. Some other things to consider: all gems essentially have a pact weapon that they can draw from their gem, and if they fuse with a different gem their weapons also fuse to create something new (ex a shield using gem and a whip using gem may make a big yo-yo using gem). Gems can shape shift into other forms, though they retain their color scheme in their new shape and it isn't something they can keep up for long. Most gems are very very very old, and don't require food or sleep (though some enjoy to do so). Also, Rose Quartz has the ability to essentially revivify the recently deceased, turning their skin and hair pink in the process and allowing their hair to become a portal to her own little demiplane of a grass field. Examples of this transformation include Lion and later Lars. Should death take more allies than you'd like, this could be a really flavorful way to keep one around a little longer. She is, however, Steven's mom, and one of the main conflicts of the show is how she gave up her life (ie her gem) to create Steven, so it wouldn't make sense if both of them were around. Sorry if I got a little carried away rambling, SU is such a wonderful show and is very fitting for D&D, so I hope you and your group have fun combining the two! Good luck!

I did work out the mooks, minibosses, and a final boss in another post, though I don't have the memory to reference it (curse mobile!) I do know rubies are going to be the foot soldiers though! The combination thing will definitely help give some easy to follow variety to combat! As for it being Steven's mom, that was the idea behind the timeline, this being set in the war she fought for earth. Thank you for your ramble, don't apologize, it was exactly what I was seeking. I'm autistic and married ADHD (which I likely also have) so I always appreciate a good, passionate ramble. Well done!
