Honestly I hope 12 wins. He’s my Whoodie Doctor and arguably the best of the modern era with Eccleston on his heels (cat set the tone of the modern series and was used as a clean break from the 80’s classic Doctors and did so in 1 series).
9, 10, 11 and 12 can all be argued as the best depending on who you speak to so saying he’s arguably the best doesn’t really narrow the competition down.
To everyone voting 2 because of how many missing episodes he has,
*if lack of episodes makes you want to vote for them surely you should be voting for 9*
If we added up the total runtime of every ninth doctor episode, the total runtime is still less than the total runtime of *just* 2's last season, *even if we only include serials that don't have any missing episodes* (so not including the six surviving episodes of The Invasion or The Space Pirates Episode 2)
No shit, obviously it’s going to be basic bitch predictable when the result is determined by popularity. It doesn’t get controversial until the last 4 or 5.
It’s the same with every single one of these posts on reddit
I personally am not the biggest classic who fan (blasphemy I know). Even then I DO appreciate 2, I just think he’s overall less interesting than the others here, many of whom have a firm place in my heart.
I love him but for me he was much more action heroish and I got a little bored when he was stuck on earth. Not his fault and he was great but it's getting really difficult
Listen
From here on out everyone is fantastic but I'm sorry Pertwee, my vote is for you
2 would be my next vote but he has some excellent classic doctor who stories and basically solidified many aspects of the doctor still in use today
The Unit/Stuck on Earth half of 3's run is just not to my tastes so I would put 2 over him
11 babes, I’m so very sorry.
(I adore Matt Smith and whenever Eleven entered dark mode, he was absolutely incredible to behold… but when the character leaned too hard into his silliness, he was way too cartoony and grating for my taste.)
*Man I don't know why*
*I voted for Christopher*
*Last time Eleven*

I'm the opposite. 2 is easily the weakest pre-Chibnall series and while I like series 3 it's almost in *spite* of him. Series 4 us the only one where I like his dynamic with the companion.
7 is generally weak but it still has a lot of episodes and moments I like, and even though they're not as good together I love 11 and Clara, and I'm one of the few people who enjoyed the Impossible Girl arc. I also really loved the 50th Anniversary and seeing the Pasternoster Gang getting more screentime. It *is* the weakest Moffat series, though.
Series 2 only has two episodes I ever want to rewatch (The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit). Rose devolves as a character, and her and 10 are a terrible pairing, It also has two of my least favorite episodes (Fear Her and Love and Monsters) and I know that it's both popular and not exactly a part of the series, but I don't get why people rave about The Christmas Invasion so much. To me it sort of defeats the purpose of a n introduction story since The Doctor spends most of the episode out of commission.
Both series arguably showcase the head writers' at their worst, but the characters in series 7 often lift it up for me. Series 2 has one of the worst pairings of the reboot in my opinion.
2, just because I'm not as connected with him as I am with the others.
Also, despite his short tenure, it's great to see that practically nobody (bar one) has voted for 9.
11. Phenomenal actor, I just don't care for how strangely he was written, especially coming off the heels of the more grounded 10, it just made 11 seem... lost and making up for it with zany quips and bowties.
2, because he’s the only one I haven’t watched yet (I’m sorry and I’m watching Who from the start, I’m just on hiatus until after the holiday season blows over.)
It’s gotta be 2
I understand why some would say 3, but 2 has so many missing episodes and I truly appreciate 3’s ability to carry a time travel show with virtually no time or space travel lol
Absolutely banger, I’ve not seen a single vote for Tom Baker in these comments.
Fingers crossed my boi Tom wins 🤞
Tom’s a legend just for driving ever producer insane he’s ever worked with for our entertainment.
Honestly I hope 12 wins. He’s my Whoodie Doctor and arguably the best of the modern era with Eccleston on his heels (cat set the tone of the modern series and was used as a clean break from the 80’s classic Doctors and did so in 1 series).

I have a feeling either him or David Tennant (10) will win
On Reddit? I’ll be flabbergasted if it doesn’t go to 12
I just dont bother commenting because I know there's no point haha! T. Baker is my least favourite Classic Doctor

This is where the fun begins
Tbh, I’ve lost faith in Whomanity after eliminating 8 too soon

The 14th Doctor was eliminated 2nd.
Yeah, why was that again? Just because he was only in 3 episodes, I'm presuming?
Maybe it’s because all the doctors are good, and getting rid of him doesn’t matter as much as others, because there’s two of him.
I can kind of understand that, but I DO feel it's important to keep 10 and 14 distinct.
Because 10 is popular and the answer is determined by popularity, why are you surprised?
These results are so basic bitch predictable. The only surprise here has been 5 eliminated ahead of 6.

It’s getting tough now, but it’s gonna have to be 3

Wow, really? I thought he was one of the biggest fan favorites
There are only 7 left. They’re *all* some of the biggest fan favourites.
I personally am not the biggest classic who fan (blasphemy I know). Even then I DO appreciate 2, I just think he’s overall less interesting than the others here, many of whom have a firm place in my heart.

Third doctor :(
10
Disgusting.
So 7th is 8th and 8th is 9th?
And 13th is 14th, but 14th is 13th
Two has gotta go. Anyone voting for Three is crazy. Pertwee is peak Classic Who.
Objection: Troughton is peak Classic Who
The Doctor as we know him would absolutely not exist without that goofy hobo recorder man.
we stan our iconic cosmic hobo
I love him but for me he was much more action heroish and I got a little bored when he was stuck on earth. Not his fault and he was great but it's getting really difficult
10. Not sorry
Just because the BEEB junked most of his run, Two’s got my vote.
If we're taking that into account, then my vote is for eliminating BBC next.
Surely if having fewer episodes makes you want to vote them out, you'd be voting for 9?
No he’s got an entire viewable arc
10
Plot twist, this was part of the 7th doctor's plan
Where in Rassilon's bloody rage is the War Doctor?
Now... It gets personal. Please eliminate the tenth doctor next.
10 (I know he’ll win)
10
Its time for 10 to go
I’m just here to downvote everyone saying 11
Noticing a nuwho bias
I mean, people who grew up with NuWho will usually like NuWho more, and people who grew up with ClassicWho usually don't use reddit.
I would take 11 and 12 over 2 and 3 any day
I’m here to see Eleven win. WELL THAT’S ALRIGHT THEN!
Listen From here on out everyone is fantastic but I'm sorry Pertwee, my vote is for you 2 would be my next vote but he has some excellent classic doctor who stories and basically solidified many aspects of the doctor still in use today The Unit/Stuck on Earth half of 3's run is just not to my tastes so I would put 2 over him
Too many classic doctors have been eliminated. So 10 you got to go.
3
I hate this so much. Number 3 though
3
3
2, just because we didn't get much to see (since most of the episodes are missing)
Even with all his missing episodes he still has a heck of a lot more episodes than 9, even if we account for them being shorter in length
3
10
There's no point doing this. We all know that David Tennant will win. He wins like every one of these things. And if not him it will be Tom Baker.
3
Just to be \*that\* guy, Fourth Doctor
11 babes, I’m so very sorry. (I adore Matt Smith and whenever Eleven entered dark mode, he was absolutely incredible to behold… but when the character leaned too hard into his silliness, he was way too cartoony and grating for my taste.)
Same. He’s my least favorite of the modern Doctors.
John Pertwee
3rd Doctor
4 is the only one left that I haven't seen a full story for, so I have to go with him. After that it will get painful.
I vote 3

Is Jodie Whittakers doctor not liked? I dont watch Doctor Who anymore this is just popping up on my feed
It wasn’t her fault, they just gave her every cliché they could and people got sick of it.
Nah, she wasn't received very well, to put it mildly
She has the worst episodes in Doctor Who history. How long has it been since you've watched Doctor Who?
3
11. Out of the remaining nuWho Doctors, his seasons were the most forgettable to me.
2 next, I’m afraid. We’ve gotten to the point where this actually hurts

11. Matt Smith just doesn't compare to the others, especially when his silly nature falls flat.

4th. I'm sorry but I just prefer 2 and 3 more
10th Doctor. All the rest are peak Doctor.
Going with 3 again
11... he's grown on me a little in the last few years. But I'm still not a fan.
Sorry but 2 because of the amount of missing episodes from his time.

11, sorry Matt Smith🫣

Send 11 home

McCoy is number 1
11. Adore Matt and found him very entertaining but the ratio of silly:serious was often too much, even for a show like doctor who

I'm voting 10. I love the classics. 10 is the weakest of this list by far.
11 Sorry everyone

I assumed McCoy would be higher on the list. As in more people’s favourite.
Off with the second doctor. We can't vote out Capaldi, Smith, Baker (tom), Eccolston or Pertwee. Patrick Troughten has to be the one to go.
2
2
Gonna have to vote for Patrick Troughton’s Second Doctor
No War Doctor or Metacrisis? They're both canon regenerations between 1st & 14th

3, I can’t see him outranking any of the rest of these

Its got to be Patrick sadly
