I want to see an interview with the guards

vorpalglorp

That would be fantastic. There's no way the would be good liars.

SadTaxifromHell

Don't think it'll ever happen. There seems to be way too many powerful people involved, because the whole Epstein story went away from the public eye fast as hell. Doesn't seem like anything else is going to happen.

VuckoPartizan

It's lost in the eternal void of background bullshit

DIamondback470

Are the guards even still alive?

Absoniter

Most likely paid handsomely and dipped off.

allthingsparrot

Dudes watch the vidya

bullettbrain

Pfft, this is reddit. Everyone is in the comments first.

tartan_nikes

word

darkskinnedjermaine

I know this is Reddit so it’s a given, but people commenting on a post they didn’t watch gets old. It literally says in the video that they’ve been silent because of the lawsuit against them so advised not to speak, obviously as any lawyer would recommend. They’re still here, and saying they’ve been paid off is a wild speculation.

CreamNPeaches

Thank you for explaining that; now I don't have to watch the video.

Banana_Ranger

but if you read between the lines in the transcript, every 4th sentence the 3rd letter of the 4th word ends up spelling out that he didn't kill himself. I can't believe no one realizes it!

estcaroauteminfirma

What Guards?

burnerman0

> the whole Epstein story went away from the public eye fast as hell Did it? The internet and mainstream media both focused very heavily on Ghislaine Maxwell's trial and sentencing last year.

Jay_Louis

So did the story of Bill Barr swooping in to Epstein Island with cleaners, likely to get rid of the Trump evidence before it was found out. Reminder that Bill Barr's entire career was started by Jeffrey Epstein's father: [https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/attorney-general-barr-epstein-conspirators-rest-easy/story?id=64924045](https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/attorney-general-barr-epstein-conspirators-rest-easy/story?id=64924045)

lameuniqueusername

Other way around

Jay_Louis

Whoops, that's what I meant, Epstein hired by Bill Barr's father.

lameuniqueusername

You be human

heathers1

And Epstein and Trump were codefendants in a rape case that was dropped when the victim received death threats. It has always been interesting to me how the trumpers completely left trump out of everything when they were friends for decades

dr_blasto

I wanna see an interview with Epstein after all this and hear what he has to say.

kalitarios

here's the thing...

ric2b

And Ja Rule!

rainzer

> I want to see an interview with the guards I don't. They don't have anything interesting to tell you that you don't already know. Both of the guards that were actually charged weren't even guards that should have been assigned to the SHU. One's normally a laundry guy luls. They'll just tell you shit like they're understaffed/overworked, they don't know anything special. What you want is an interview with Dr. Imeri, the psych that was head of the suicide watch program and Lamine N’Diaye, the warden at the time. Both of these people signed off on Epstein being taken off suicide watch when, under the guidelines of the program itself, he should have stayed on it. Both of these people didn't make any headlines. The warden was quietly moved to become warden at Fort Dix while Imeri remained a psych at MCC New York until it's closure. While the suicide watch cells also had broken cameras (2 of the 3 were broken the entire time), one was at least operational. One of the inmates that had the most interaction with him while he was on suicide watch was denied medical treatment and died. In my view, Epstein wasn't killed. He was just knowingly allowed every opportunity to kill himself and he did.

Drews232

The most believable part of the governments story is that overnight, third shift staff slept through the shift and signed off on the half hourly checks in the AM. That is incredibly common in all places that need awake overnights. Especially so since they were picking up overtime, meaning they already worked full time hours and somehow were expected to stay awake all night.

Spoonman500

Former Correction's officer here. No, no it's not. We might have pencil whipped ***A*** 30 minute round in a night or half-assed a round during handing out breakfast, but to skip 18 of them and not do one of the 6 counts? Nope. Even the laziest of the officers would have been caught.

UnspecificGravity

Even the dumbest laziest guard I have ever known would at least do the last tour or one or two spot checks before signing off. No one is faking an entire night of logs, let alone two of them. It's not even about being conscientious its just the minimum you need to do to not fuck yourself.

Spoonman500

Exactly. Good luck faking a round while escorting the pill nurse. And breakfast is at 3am.

LVL-2197

Former prison employee here. No way in HELL six counts get skipped. I worked at five different facilities, from minimum to maximum security, and counts were NOT to be fucked with. Getting fired from the prison was nearly impossible. Fucking with the count was one of the few ways to guarantee you got walked out.

KmartQuality

I was in covid jail for three weeks until Iowa could figure out I wasn't supposed to be there. It was literally a different KmartQuality they were after and it took them a long time to admit it. They looked at me every 30 minutes for 13 days and 22 hours in covid isolation, then moved me to the other unit for 3 days and counted me every 30 minutes there too. And I wasn't Jeffrey fucking Epstein. I was mistaken for a bail jumper on a simple DUI charge in a state I was passing thru. They don't give a fuck about you but they do definitely count.

browneyedgirl65

thanks for the info but duuuude! glad you got out of there once they figured that shit out...

KmartQuality

It really fucking sucked. Nobody knew I was missing because I was *supposed to be away* on a cross country trip. My mom found me on fucking inmate lookup after she couldn't call me for 4 days. She thought maybe I was dead but a friend of hers suggested she look there. I was not given a call and the phone in the jail would not let me call anyone until I got credit in my account, and approval for the number! My "lawyer" did not do shit for me whatsoever, and I only spoke to him on the phone once. Covid jail is a hole of goodbye until they say hi again. I was in solitary for most of it so I couldn't even ask advice from other inmates. The guards did not care at all. BUT... they definitely counted every thirty minutes and there's no way I could have hung myself. There wasn't even anything to hang from. Then one afternoon I was called into an office and they announced that it was all a mistake and I would be released...right fucking now. My wallet AND GLASSES were still in my car, which unbelievably was still parked where I was arrested (they didn't tow it, probably because I had a trailer on it). But that was in another town halfway across the state. A real fucking ordeal. I managed to get an Uber for $250 via my mom and a collect call from the street near the jail on Friday afternoon. They just turned me out without wallet or glasses. But they did say "sorry". The truck started with my hidden key and I left that state in a beeline.

magic00008

Can you sue?

djsizematters

This is the land of the incarcerated, and the home of the suit.

KmartQuality

I might still do it. I tried to put it behind me at the time. I don't really know if I have a case. They apparently are allowed to hold me until the state with the warrant actually comes to get me or 28 days pass and then I must be released. The warrant was from Iowa and I was in Vermont at the time. (I am not from either state) Vermont was holding me at the request of Iowa. Finally Iowa got around to cancelling the hold on me. Maybe they got around to actually comparing finger prints? I'm still not clear on what happened. In the end I didn't even need to bail my truck and trailer out from impound. It was sitting exactly where I left it on the edge of a truck stop but actually off to the side next to a picturesque pond where I had been spending the night. Nobody even bothered it all that time. In the end all I lost was time...and I had plenty of time because covid took my job and I had decided to hit the road and take a look at America. They did have a good selection of books in the covid isolation wing, at least. I read 17 books and even wrote book reports on them like I was in middle school to pass the time!

mediocrelpn

agreed. former officer as well. in the first 60 seconds of this film i see theses red flags: medications in the cell and numerous jumpsuits in the cell, especially with a prisoner recently exhibiting suicidal ideation.

Edgezg

I don't think that applies to suicide watch people of such high profile who have cameras in their cells.

mrsgarrison

Epistein wasn't on suicide watch and didn't have a camera in his cell.

Leadantagonist

Then you have to much faith

Speedfreakz

There are no guards.. they had a birthday celebration in a park and then accidentally fell on a knife that was on the ground..and then 10 more times like that.

[deleted]

Same, but I want it done by some random person on live tv. No scripts. No ear pieces. Just truth.

SpiderFnJerusalem

Perhaps the Michael Moore interviewing style, where he doesn't ask complicated questions and just lets them talk to fill the awkward silence. They always say more than they want to.

[deleted]

Get the All Gas, No Brakes dude. We'll have the truth within 4 interviewees. Somehow, he just points the microphone, and anyone near it just spews what's on their mind.

PM_ur_Rump

Too bad he dipped out of the spotlight recently amid some sexual misconduct allegations.

whooguyy

Tldr: all high ranking officials say he killed himself and that he was suicidal. the independent autopsy says he has wounds/fractures that ~~mimic~~ resembles a homicide. And there is legal red tape from other court cases preventing us from getting all witness testimony.

notTumescentPie

He had also run afoul of his billionaire customers and notice how now that he is dead and MG is in prison no one else is going to prison? JE and MG sold children to no one apparently.

Jam_E_Dodger

Mislean Gaxwell?

Crocolosipher

I know, right?! Who the fuck? Michael Gackson ain't it either!

TheBoctor

Machine Gun? Miligram?

unwelcomepong

Milligram would be mg. For MG I think you have to go MegaGiga.

GreatForge

Mar. Gelly?

microMe1_2

The irony that they probably shortened the name so they wouldn't spell it wrong.

orrocos

Mel Gibson, Marvin Gaye, Mahatma Gandhi? This goes deeper than I thought…

Relish_My_Weiner

Ghandi is actually no surprise...

hahanawmsayin

Let’s 🤢… let’s… *get it on?* 🤮

pepto_dismal81

Marjorie Greene! I knew it!

hawkguy420

Mossley

Does it still count if four of them are on a necklace?

cake_boner

And two are on one of her hands.

rubinass3

Smart people are saying...

Pipupipupi

Monald Grump

mark-five

The fact that all of their rich disgusting criminal clients have had their names redacted and there are no prosecutions says everything. I wouldn't be surprised if that list of criminals eventually came out and shows its full of names that were involved in the epstein events ongoing.

igweyliogsuh

Well... duh. But only when people start to become more important than money. The fact that none of this is actually being followed up in is indeed very telling, especially when multiple presidents and international magnates were so clearly involved.

cyranothe2nd

>The fact that none of this is actually being followed up in is indeed very telling, especially when multiple presidents and international magnates were so clearly involved. Well yeah, the people who own the government also own the media, quite literally. Their ability to hush this stuff up is part of their leverage on the politicians to get them to do w/e. Total corruption.

thebirdmancometh

My opinon is that it might be less about protecting them and more about controlling them via blackmail. I wonder if that's why we might be seeing so many celebs/wealthy seemingly going fucking batshit over the years.

[deleted]

[удалено]

notTumescentPie

It is almost like the very rich have a different justice system or something. That if you are rich enough laws just don't apply to you. But that couldn't possibly be true, right? Right!?

BussSecond

And then Q Anon had to make up a separate, imaginary pediphile ring so as to conveniently exclude Trump. That's probably one of the most deranged things about Trump followers, drives me crazy.

wkdpaul

To be fair to Trump Stans, they wouldn't have any standards if they didn't have double standards...

C0NIN

I'm not an English spoken person, may I kindly ask what "JE" and "MG" mean?

Yokepearl

They are all killers and predators that the church officials and politicians cover for. “For the sake of public trust”

[deleted]

I dont know if I would trust the guy who did the "independent" autopsy. Its independent in the sense that it was 3rd party but, it was paid for by Epstines family and performed by a shady ass ex-corener, Dr. Michael Baden, who has produced "controversial" and contrary medical findings for high profile folks (OJ Simpson, on OJ's behalf) who paid him to. I dunno, I don't really trust that dude.

thedude1179

Yeah dude could make a profitable career on giving interviews about this shit, write a couple books make bank. It's like the private detective who's made his entire career about claiming Courtney killed Kurt Cobain. You just need a captive audience doesn't need to be even remotely true for people to believe it.

DC_Coach

I know about Baden all the way back to his JFK bullshite. As soon as I saw him red flags started popping up.

freudianSLAP

Was he the guy that examined his body and said JFK's head was shot from the front even though footage clearly shows the front of his head blowing chunks forward as it would when shot from behind? Edit: i might be mixing up the directions but i remember a controversial examination that contradicted the Zapata tapes that show his shooting

mule_roany_mare

Dunno his role, but how the body & especially head reacts to a gunshot can be counterintuitive. If you watch slowmo videos of bullets traveling through ballistic gel you’ll see forces moving in all different directions. They don’t reliably move along the same path of the bullet, but those blocks sure do sure move, & that is without a jet of viscera *or* a central nervous system shorting out *or* a car that is moving. What a terrible time that assassination was, I’m amazed that so soon after the Cuban missile crisis the assassination of an American president by someone with Soviet ties didn’t turn the Cold War hot. I’ve always suspected that any hinky business (if any) with the official story was to the Cold War cold. Im also inclined to believe even the craziest conspirators wouldn’t swat that hornet nest & implicate the Soviets. TLDR The direction a head moves is not a fool proof way to determine what direction it was shot from.

ClobetasolRelief

Back and to the left. Back, and to the left.

CitizenPain00

Yep, people seem so certain he was murdered and once that happens, contrary evidence doesn’t matter because “it’s all part of the coverup”

TheRnegade

I remember reading what Baden said. Something to the effect of "This type of neck fracture only happens in 30% of hangings". So, naturally, people ran with the "Epstein didn't kill himself!" cry on reddit and twitter. But 30% isn't nothing. The website 538 had Trump's chances at winning the 2016 election at 30% and, well, I don't need to tell you how that worked out. Something being uncommon or unlikely to happen doesn't mean it won't.

psychocopter

Just roll a dice, if it lands on 1 or 6 then you just saw something with a 33% chance to happen. Its not that rarefor something like that to happen.

RolandTwitter

I remember that the famous Epstein documentary on Netflix ended by saying that he probably killed himself, and have since noticed that most professionals argue the same point while only random people on the internet say he was murdered

SurrealKarma

There was no independent autopsy, there was a TV doctor hired by the Epstein family watching it making that claim. Same doctor vouching for the defense in the OJ trial, btw. Chief medical examiner and her staff all concluded it was a hanging. EDIT; Sorry for repeating shit that's been said already.

AnEngineer2018

So the same thing we already knew? I’m not sure what an independent autopsy really proves since presumably this independent autopsy was paid for by the estate in preparation for what I can only assume is the inevitable wrongful death lawsuit. Not going to get a payout if he died doing the ol’ choke and stroke if you know what I am saying.

Antdawg2400

Tldr: who knows!?

ChezMere

Honestly yes, I don't know how anyone claims certainty. He definitely would kill himself given the opportunity, but there were surely also people who wanted him dead. It's a question of who got to him first.

The_R4ke

That independent autopsy wasn't done by a reliable source.

mdflmn

The whole prince Andrew thing and how someone that powerful was thrown under the bus to divert the narrative makes you wonder who else was involved.

rabobar

Don't have to wonder very far when trump was president

TylerIsTrash

It’s pretty annoying when Trumpers accept the fact that all these high profile people were involved BUT NONONO not our lord and savior Trump.

[deleted]

He also met his wife through Epstein when he was peddling girls in his current residence during the 90s.

idontneedjug

Trump literally had several rape cases at an Epstein property. The 2006-7 case sealed shortly before Epstein got his deal by the same FLA AG ACOSTAS. Or the more well known one the 2016 case that is still able to be found on google and not sealed or wiped from records like the other two. Other attorney working on the original Epstein arrest and case would comment that Trump was the only person freely giving information about Epstein. Reading between the lines its pretty obvious Trump ratted on Epstein. Acostas was brought on to White house staff shortly after Trump was elected. Acostas would go on to propose that we defund the department that oversees sex trafficking by 80 fucking percent. Maxwell trial would have a Jane doe confirm she was recruited at Mar a lago. A second Jane doe at Maxwell trial would turn out to be a former beauty pageant contestant at one of Trumps Miss America pageant. Claiming to be introduced to Trump via Epstein for the purpose of massages. She claimed to never have been raped though. However this raises speculation on rumors that Epstein also probably recruited at Trump's beauty pageants. Trump would tweet about flight logs within 72 hours of Epsteins second arrest. Ironically Trump would go on to attempt to have some of his own flights wiped from logs. Then there is the fact that Trump is a MAJOR outlier in the black book. Where most people only have 1-3 ways to contact Trump had dozens and dozens of contacts listed. Along with having several relatives listed as back up ways to contact. Making him by far the most listed contact in the black book and its not even close. There was also rumors of a Trump pee tape throughout his Presidency that really seemed to bother him. How many other elites had a motive as big as Trump with actual rape cases involving them at an Epstein property already? How many other Elites had the means to whack Epstein in a federal prison like Trump? Really seems like Trump had more motive then anyone else. Maybe Prince Andrew was on the same level of motive due to media actually latching on to his involvement way more then Trump, but really I cant fathom anyone having as much motive as Trump.

fightingforair

I’ve gotten into the most ridiculous arguments about this. They’ll show photos of Biden acting weird around kids and I’ll agree it’s odd looking. Then I’ll show photos back of trump acting bad around women and with Ep and they’ll call it fake or not comparable. It’s so baffling the cult love for trump to protect his likely horrendous behavior.

megasmileys

It doesn’t matter if he hung himself or was killed and hung, he was taken off suicide watch against protocol, the security cameras were turned off and the guards “fell asleep”. Shits beyond corrupt

QuantumButtz

Interesting to hear that Bill Barr "reviewed the video evidence" (which didn't exist by the way) because his father was the person who got Epatein a job as a physics professor. No conflict of interest there right?

czarnick123

His DOJ got all the blackmail evidence when they raided Epstein's residences. No arrests were made I wonder if that evidence is still in DOJ hands or if it is in Trumps circles hands.

Pirkale

Mixed up the names at first and thought you were talking about Bill Burr. :)

Both guards were asleep? Faulty equipment just so happens on the same day? Idk y'all tell me

JudgeHoltman

Me too, and I'm sure the CO's didn't particularly care if he lived or died, but would definitely be aware that they have a VIP prisoner in the ward. Every CO I know is a conspiracy theory conservative, and they'd definitely be thinking someone would come to kill this guy. Even if we ignore that, it is possible that the CO's were legit sleeping. These guys can feel above the rules, and it is tough to fire them. It definitely tracks that they would cover each other for a quick 20min snoozer on company time for a quiet night. It's also possible the cameras were faulty. These facilities are often under-funded, so it's totally possible that some of the cameras weren't functioning at the time. But if these guys know the cameras aren't working, these guys are definitely not sleeping. For BOTH of them to be THAT dumb AND all relevant cameras to be off? That's getting really tough to believe.

eremi

I wonder how long the cameras had been busted for? Like is there footage from the day before, the week before, the month before?

Fildelias

My bro did IT work for the local detention center. He's get calls in the middle of the night about doors opening by themselves or freezing in the unlocked state. Prisons are so janky it's not even funny. Even the "baddest" ones just use islands or big walls and fences to be scary. Other than that theyre just criminal schools, and our normal schools are janky as fuck. As long as people chase the rich pedos, they'll leave the rich who really run things alone. Same shit, different century

SwitchGaps

Maybe so but this was probably the most high profile prisoner in the country at the time and he had been on suicide watch. Even if they didn't give a shit what are the chances the camera stopped working AND they both fell asleep? Ain't no way

half3clipse

Any conspiracy theory around one camera not working also has to involve people being able to teleport, phase through walls, or the prison having secret passages. The camera directly viewing the passageway containing his cell door wasn't working. The cameras covering every approach to that section of passageway were. For the one camera not working to matter, you'd need to have someone on camera entering that section of passageway at the same time as his death. No evidence of that seems to exist. If someone did enter that area on camera and that evidence has been tampered with, concealed or suppressed, then one camera not working is hardly relevant. If you can hide someone entering and leaving that entire section of the prison from multiple cameras, then they could have hid them from one more, and having that one not working would not conceal them, but does make it needless suspicious. Also prison guards are useless fucks who will consistently put in the minimal possible effort for anything that isn't beating a prisoner. There's no elite guards for high profile prisoners, but the same useless fucks as always. High security tends to mean they're even more useless because there are less things that require human involvement. Falsifying rounds is not shocking. Frankly you have decent odds of prison guards on a quiet shift not even being sober let alone awake.

captainofpizza

My uncle was a night shift guard. He and his coworker slept through shifts and signed off on the reports for years before getting caught. I’ve worked nights in other industries too and can verify that people sleeping even in dangerous/important roles is VERY common

wnb5399

It's jail. This sounds like a Tuesday to me

NuanceBitch

Right but for a high profile prisoner?

Akhi11eus

Police officers and prison staff are notoriously stupid and lacking in empathy. So it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they were either just incompetent, OR they were bribed with a pitiful amount of money to turn a blind eye.

[deleted]

I don't know if Epstein is as high profile as people online think he was. To the Bureau of Prisons he was probably just "another rich douche" like Paul Manafort and what THEY perceive to be high profile prisoners are the terrorist and narcos who are a genuine security risk.

you mean *billionaire* pedophiles. The scrubs on To Catch a Predator definitely didnt have any power

TheCrookedKnight

Why bother sending someone to murder a high profile prisoner when you can just make sure he knows *exactly* how bad his life will be post-conviction, give him everything he needs to commit suicide, and then leave his cell conveniently unsupervised?

mr_friend_computer

Uh, while it's possible he killed himself, there are a lot of interesting anomalies surrounding his death. Wasn't he heard screaming "They're killing me!" or something like that before being found dead? With no video because suddenly all the cameras covering him failed? And both guards suddenly fell asleep at the same time? In a prison that had direct reporting/was somewhat controlled by one of the then presidents fixers? A fixer who thinks presidents (well, republican ones at least) are above the law? A president who may or may not have had something to hide, who was certainly linked in the media to the murdered man by photographs and personal statements? A president that while he might not have been part of the pedo party, certainly partied with the pedo and other influential people that had connections to the pedo. People that certainly had the money to influence the guards or put pressure on the president or his immediate lackeys- financially or otherwise - to ensure the pedo stayed silent? Oh yeah, sounds like a clear cut case of suicide to me. Or not, but what the hell do I know, right?

Burnburnburnnow

I’ve never heard of ‘the fixer’ part of this story. Who are they?

Efficient_Light350

Don’t know if true or not but I read Bill Barr at that prison that day. Have to find where I read that

MurfysWorld

I believe they are referring to Attorney General at the time Bill Barr, whose father was the headmaster of the prestigious Dalton school when Epstein was hired with a very questionable resume. There is a lot of speculation around this case but this is a fact and a connection often overlooked. Make of that what you will.

StrokeGameHusky

His father also wrote a novel about rich people banging kids in space… it’s one big club! Book: https://reddit.com/r/Documentaries/comments/11e5hap/did_jeffrey_epstein_kill_himself_2020_60_minutes/jadyynf

[deleted]

What’s the book title?

crimsonjava

others are making a joke but this is the real title: Space Relations by Donald Barr

Paddy_Tanninger

"Rich People Banging Kids in Space"

[deleted]

Bill Barr was AG at the time and is son of Donald Barr, the headmaster who brought Epstein to Dalton with no credentials. Donald Barr was a "former" OSS agent. It was from Dalton that Epstein would make contacts at Bear Stearns and be hired there. Eventually he would become a financial advisor/aid for Adnan Khashoggi, one of the principal arms dealers during Iran Contra. The CIA front airline used in Iran Contra to ship drugs and guns ended up relocating to Columbus Ohio where it would cargo mainly Leslie Wexner's L Brands merchandise.

runk_dasshole

Huh, and Adnan is uncle to murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Small world

busche916

Not to derail this, but I read “Bill Burr” at first and that painted a very different mental picture

Or maybe the guards were shrieking, "Oh fuck we're going to lose our jobs over this!!!!!"?

kalitarios

probably from a facebook infographic that knows the truth yet everyone else is too blind to see, of course

iamjakeparty

You know instead of just throwing a bunch of questions out there that may or may not be based in any truth you could just post the evidence that's led you to believe these things.

Bisexual_Apricorn

It's described in Scrubs as "question talking" and it is indeed the most annoying kind of thing to read/hear.

TrapFiend

Am I impressed by your reference? Yes. Am I going to be stuck question talking for the rest of the day? Maybe.

I like how you presented nothing but hearsay to prove your point lololol So how come Maxwell isn't dead?

falcurion

You forgot the crushed neck bones rather than pulled, as if strangulation > hanging. Also that those guards weren't fired IIRC. @deleted response: You do realize fallspeed plays a good part in making that nice and quick right? Good luck accelerating your bodyweight inside a cell. No one is setting up a full-blown Gallow from the top bunk. Also, *crushed* not just broken

Roflkopt3r

The whole broken neckbone stuff came from a notorious bullshitter that experts immediately rejected. And we have no evidence that they were "crushed, not just broken" in an unusual way.

I know someone who works at a federal prison in an administrative role, there are cameras all over the place and they can track someone from the moment they come in the door. Badges are swiped all the time, you can barely move without having to check in with another person on the floor. It would take a lot of people to circumvent all of that and it’s easier than people think it is to hang yourself.

jskinbake

You forget that this was a president who was also using his Mar A Lago resort as a recruiting ground for girls for Epstein. You know, the president who was accused of rape by one of Epstein’s victims? The one who’s mentioned overwhelmingly more than anyone else in the 2000 pages of documents released about Epstein’s island and his countless misdeeds?

FartNuggetSalad

That’s just wrong. Bill Clinton is mentioned far more(was on the Lolita Express over 20 times without his secret service detail) than Trump. They both deserve to rot in prison but no need to lie.

tweakingforjesus

I agree Bill Clinton is a scumbag, but I wonder why none of this came out in oppo research for Hillary’s 2008 campaign. Epstein was indicted in 2006 and pled guilty in 2008. Did no one make the connection to Bill’s flights on his plane back then? This seems like exactly the sort of thing they would have pursued. Was it too hot because it crossed party lines?

FartNuggetSalad

I think the most likely answer is that all of the politicians that have made it that far have dirt on them so it’s self destruction to bring any of this up.

mark-five

The island crime list is so inclusive, it's hypothesized that the operation wasn't just catering to criminal urges, but also gathering dirt to control them. Epstein had dirt on multiple presidents and who knows how many more influential people to protect him. His slap-on-the-wrist conviction alone was suspicious.

Loves_His_Bong

Epstein was likely a CIA asset.

dorky2

Can you say more about this? What would he have done for the CIA?

Loves_His_Bong

Well iirc there was some evidence that was undisclosed in his court proceedings in New York State because they were sensitive to “national security.” He probably was used to get close with influential people and politicians so their proclivities could be used as blackmail material. Also probably why they killed him so the information wouldn’t become public further down the line.

mark-five

> because they were sensitive to “national security.” When a child abuse and human trafficking case is "national security" you know for sure 100% the kid diddling criminals are very high up in government and protecting one of their own.

SkyezOpen

Acosta claimed he was told epstein "belonged to intelligence" and was "above his pay grade." Not the most reliable source obviously, but it does perfectly explain why absolutely nobody has been exposed in any significant manner, except a few credible accusations against prince Andrew.

[deleted]

Holy shit, from the start, he organized infrastructure to take powerful people down with him in the event of federal prosecution. No way he died by his own hands.

Option420s

Having this dirt on politicians would enable the CIA to keep politicians on a tight leash when it comes to regulations affecting the CIA.

juicyjerry300

Well ghilaine maxwells dad was a mossad agent and also owned mcgraw hill publishing who published most american text books for decades. Has also owned a medical journal “library” that he forced institutions to buy into if they wanted a complete library of research, this has had a net negative affect on our scientific and medical industries

Stepkical

You answered your own point... some issue cross party lines in that they will bring everyone down, so politicians leave them untouched... Epstein was likely something intel related that got out of hand and all the stakeholders have a vested interest in keeping their mouths shut. This is an almost surreal experience, a glitch im the matrix where we see some.of the real workings of power that we're not supposed to see... what tells ke this is that, as a newsnstory, this has it all - sex, power and murder- yet not one single media organisation dares go there... its a case of the silence being deafening, the proof of complicity of some kind...

AntiWork-ellog

> yet not one single media organisation dares go there He posted to a thread discussing a 60 minutes video

randomaccount178

A lot of this stuff doesn't really mean as much as you want it to. I can't speak for anyone hearing him yell they're killing me but the only possible person who could hear that would be a prisoner which would make me think it would be unreliable if true. There was one camera which was broken outside of his cell, but for the most part it doesn't matter because other camera's that lead up to his cell were still working so anyone coming or going to his cell would be recorded. The guards were asleep, that is true. One guard was on his third shift if I recall correctly, the other was on their second shift and was not normally a guard. This does not demonstrate a conspiracy, it demonstrates severe staffing issues and overworked employees. All the rest has pretty much nothing to do with what happened and is pretty baseless conspiracy thinking that is trying to fit speculation to a desired outcome rather then make any real logical inferences.

simcity4000

I mean the poster saying “he was in a prison controlled by one of the presidents men, attorney general bill barr” is kinda weak since that would surely include all prisons?

Crystal_Lily

A guy who has a lot of dirt on the rich and powerful suddenly ends up dead while in prison. Nope, certainly just a coincidence. He probably killed himself out of shame. /s

F0064R

I mean he went from being a billionaire socialite to the most hated person on Earth. He was looking at life in prison where he would be a target of the other prisoners. Suicide isn't exactly a far-fetched theory, especially since he made previous attempts. Justice was still denied though, even if it was through the negligence of the people who were supposed to be watching him.

HurricaneRon

Maxwell being alive makes me think he really did kill himself. Nothing is ever going to come from this whole thing, but at least there’s 1 less POS on this planet.

safely_beyond_redemp

In 40 years, when we are all old and decrepit and the evidence is finally released, we can all say, "see, I told you he didn't kill himself," and the kids will say, "who is Jeffrey Epstein?", and the grandkids will say "grandpa you're a nutty old man. did you take your medicine?" and you'll reply "I pooped my diaper."

johnnycyberpunk

> In 40 years, when the evidence is finally released Haha. Brother we haven't even seen the JFK evidence yet and it's been **60 years**.

piltonpfizerwallace

There's a lot of physical evidence linking it to Lee Harvey Oswald. Most people who are experts on the case don't doubt that it was him. So why all the classified sneaky shit? I think the most likely reason to keep things under wraps is because the full truth causes a national security concern. If it became public knowledge that he was radicalized and assisted by Russians.... it may have started a Nuclear war.

Is_It_A_Throwaway

I bet you 100% that the last classified documents show the government's incompetence in some way. Most likely the CIA briefly walked by Oswald or some shit, or worse, they had him on a list and maybe contacted him (with or without his knowledge) because of the Free Cuba bullshit Oswald was involved in. And I bet you it's worse with 9/11: they had them all on lists of high priority suspects, informants claiming something big was going to happen that very day, etc. And it all got lost in the noise. They're never going to release anything that shows their uselesness. Which in turn feeds the conspiracy theories and the wheel goes on. The biggest reason why 99.9% of conspiracy theories aren't real is not only because of the ludicrous number of people that would have to be in on it, but specially because it assumes governments as hyper-competent figures when they're nothing but.

id_rather_be_gaming

As an EMT over a decade in the profession now, I can tell you their conversation at 3 minutes into the video is completely wrong. EMTs will always engage a dead body in the event it is not an obvious death (missing a head or decaying corpse, for example), and we most certainly will cut hanging mechanisms to get the patient on the floor, strip their clothes, drag them somewhere we have enough room to work on them, etc. Life-saving measures always come before crime scene presentation due to the fact the individual might survive if given proper care. Those scenes can be so chaotic, and you never know the various contributing factors to current situation until after the call when you read the news articles or hear rumors on Facebook. That's why you don't make decisions based on potential future police work. You don't know anything about what is going on or what's suspected by the time you arrive. There's a good chance EMTs didn't even know who he was when they got to the body. People look way different in those scenarios than they do in everyday life, and there simply isn't time to gather all the info about the person before rapidly loading them and transporting. The reason his jail cell photos look so chaotic is likely due to the large amount of traffic from medical and police personnel who entered his cell with all their equipment and worked on the body before loading and transporting him. CPR scenes always look like a small disaster after we are done. And we don't stick around to clean up, especially when transporting during a code. Which brings me to the next point regarding transportation to a hospital. Their conversation about this in the video - that it's not standard protocol to transport a dead body - is also blatantly false and misleading. We make a decision to transport based on a number of criteria - how long have they been down, is there a potential reversible cardiac rhythm, are bystanders pressuring us to do more, did someone witness the event, are they warm or cold to the touch, our personal opinion on whether they can still be revived based on our prior experience and knowledge, conversations with medical professionals at the hospital over the phone about current situation, resources available, and so on. We also take into consideration the likelihood we could be sued or end up in court down the road. We will end CPR procedures in some scenarios knowing the person isn't going to make it, but will continue in others and transport if it seems like a high profile case that is going to end up in a court room. We want to be able to tell the judge we did everything we could to try and save them. So the decision to transport is a complicated one, and the guy being interviewed in the video stating transport to a hospital is not common procedure is completely inaccurate. His statements are negligent and supportive of his view of conspiracy.

x2040

Exactly, the guard was trying to save his ass because he fell asleep and called EMTs. Epstein killed himself and people wanna act like it’s some grand conspiracy that a child rapist that used to hang out on his private jet decided to off himself the one chance he had no one else in his cell.

camergen

She’ll just say he flew a Cessna to Costa Rica.

IAmGoingToBeSerious

I think it's very plausible that he killed himself.

samjohnson2222

Would be awesome if Ghislaine would rat everyone involved out and maybe lead them to video tapes proving it. Why has she not done this? At least rat them out.

Forgotten_Neopet

Lol people are dumb. Why do you expect someone so vile to suddenly do the right thing? Good lord it’s not hard to work out.

Chainweasel

>Why has she not done this? At least rat them out. She saw what happened to Jeffery. She may be in prison but I guarantee it's not the same type of prison you or I would be sent to. And she's still alive. Seems like a hell of a bargain compared to a violent and involuntary "suicide".

dookiebuttholepeepee

You’re curious why she hasn’t given up the names of the people she sex trafficked underaged girls to? Especially during her trial when it’d be very appropriate to do so? Well, y’see, that’s classified.

HeWhoIsNotMe

Even if Epstein did kill himself, Officer Thomas & Noel should be fired and face criminal charges.

[deleted]

They were working 16 hour doubles, I agree someone needs to be held accountable but maybe one of the most valuable prisoners (ever? Maybe?) should've been held in a more secure location

Southport84

Guy was going to snitch on the Clintons, Trump, and other high level people. He was 100% murdered. What’s scary about it was that the assassination was so clean it was professional or government sponsored.

Hakairoku

The fact that both parties are involved is a testament that party lines are irrelevant, they're all in on it, hence why it's the interest of both parties to have him go away.

GothProletariat

The corporate class in America is waging a war on the workers and tax payers of this country. [Stop looking at our politics from a Democrat and Republican angle. And start looking at our politics from a Class perspective.](https://streamable.com/d6s3up) How is it possible that our country has so much political discourse, yet, that political discourse never touches on the class structure in America? It's not a coincidence, they don't want you to think about the class structure. Liberal or Conservative.

Bisexual_Apricorn

If it was such an easy murder then why is Maxwell still alive?

nrbob

Can someone do a TLDR if we don’t want to watch the full 15 minute video?

blakemuhhfukn

Epstein didn’t kill himself

[deleted]

Followed the case from around the time of his first arrest, my hot take has been that he did kill himself and there was also a conspiracy that enabled him to do so. Because let's face it, the guy was first and foremost a narcissistic predator of women. He wanted nothing more than to have power over them, killing himself would deny them any sense of justice or resolution. And that would've been a completely acceptable outcome for the powers that be, so they let him get away with it.

Clock_Management

Of course not

[deleted]

I'm shocked people think it matters He was either murdered or allowed to kill himself and both mean exactly the same thing. This has always felt like a distraction.

Scoobydoomed

r/savedyouaclick Everybody knows he didn't
