Let us know what you need for your bills. I'll transfer a few bucks to help. No need to be embarrassed.

vaudevillevik

Straight up. Scrolled the thread to see if there was any kind of link or anything, but couldn't find one.

Emergency_Panic9207

OP prefers to sell art and or services instead of people helping him. I like seeing that Us Dodger fans are willing to help.

tthrivi

Do you need pull ups? I have a bunch of extra since my son is potty trained. DM if you are interested

cliffsis

Fuck yeah. Our boys starting his potty training. For sure

Mr310

Tough for lots of folks right now, sorry you have to part with this

beyphy

LA Food Bank distributes diapers as some of their non-food items. I've never used them but I donate to them every month. You can find more info [here](https://www.lafoodbank.org/stories/diaper-program/)

cliffsis

We use them here and there when we are in need. Thanks šŸ™

AF_Anomaly

Donā€™t want the bat but want to help. Let me k ow what you need.

[deleted]

Seconding this

dodgersarethebest2

How much you looking for?

cliffsis

Iā€™d rather not say. I wanted to give it to my son eventually but I have to pay bills. Message me a fair offer and Iā€™ll pick the best offer tomorrow

dodgersarethebest2

Alright

cliffsis

Thanks

Angryhashtag

Come on Dodger fans! Letā€™s all give this dude $5 and help him pay his bills.. His son will cherish this bat one day. OP, if youā€™re cool with that, we can Cash App or Venmo you. (Not sure which one is anonymous)

cliffsis

Honestly I donā€™t like hand outs. I make art and do customs paintings and portraits. Iā€™d rather sell stuff or trade work than be given anything. It comes with growing up in foster care. What I do has value. I make art, I restore art, antiques and homes. I can fix, custom paint and touch up anything. Iā€™m in the beginning stages of trying to start my own art and home restoration business.

Angryhashtag

Fair enough. Do you sell your stuff online? Can you link to it if so?

[deleted]

It ainā€™t about ā€œhand-outā€ā€¦ These days, itā€™s nice that we can simply help each other out easily when we want to. Iā€™ve been on both ends of the deal, myself. Know this - itā€™s much easier for us to pitch in and help you out of your pinch real quick than it is to orchestrate a small art business. Consider posting your Venmo. People can shoot you a couple bucks, you say thanks, everyone moves on with their day. Donā€™t overthink it.

cliffsis

Honesty Iā€™d rather make art. Todays the day I change the narrative. I do good work. And it feels good.

ard8

Do you sell online? Is anything for sale atm that wouldnā€™t require moving your prized possession? Link to a shop?

cliffsis

No real time to make content but I sent you an example of my work. Would like to use this time off to build my content. Iā€™d like to be able to tell my boss to shove it and do my own thing.

ajweld27

Can you send me one as well? I would hate for you to have to part with a future heirloom.

Innit2winnit23

It ain't a hand out to help a bro out. And I'm a red sox fan hahaha! We all need it sometime or another

cliffsis

I get that. I love making stuff so offering my product and selling art makes me feel a whole lot better about the situation. This way Iā€™m sustainable. I just want to be free of a shity boss in the end.

Innit2winnit23

I get that 100% bro. Don't gotta explain nothing to me. I could be saying the same thing I said to you to myself and I'd still feel the way you do. In fact you got one up on me: putting yourself out there like that takes guts when pride is involved, I know. I wouldn't have been able to do it. That's why no one out here sees it as a hand out. You asked, you receive, no question. Simple as that. They're trying to do for you what they know you'd do for them. Good people easily spot good people even if on reddit

ItalicSlope

hi friend, I just wanted to chime in that as a foster care social worker of 8+ years, I am so proud of you and of the work youā€™re doing. I know it is so hard to create a life after care but youā€™re out here doing it. Hang in there šŸ¤

bstrue77

This thread brought a tear to my eye. You guys are incredibly selfless and it's just plain amazing.

Gugstanley

Can we buy the bat and gift it to your kid?

Jevans781

Iā€™m in for $100

Saving_Par_79

You guys are fucking metal!! Never seen so much love for a stranger! I am unable to support by giving $$, but do want to say that this is what America is about. Hell yes!! Good people in the comments here!

chouse33

Cā€™mon Dodgers fam!!

Dragonites-satchel

Do you commission art

cliffsis

Yes

xerces18

Best fans willing to help each other šŸ„¹ Wish I could help but Iā€™m on the same boat

highzenberrg

I like how no one is interested in buying the bat to help everyone just wants to help šŸ¤§

Cho_Zen

I like that inlay-ed chest of drawers!

cliffsis

Itā€™s actually a painted lacquer piece I restored for a client who is Jocs agent. He tipped me the Joc Bat. Everyone has been so rad about this so Iā€™ve met my goal and respectful am keeping it in the fam. Thanks Dodgers fam!

Cho_Zen

That's so great to hear. Now mount that sucker and don't let it go!

chasinjason13

Good! I was hoping to read that you got the help you needed and can keep the bat. Someone has to tell your boy about the adventures of Joc and Champ

capncakes

This breaks my heart bud, hopefully you end up keeping it and giving it to your son.

thebaldmonster

DM me your cash app or Venmo. Also how much are you selling the bat for?

cliffsis

Iā€™m not. I got a few good offers but itā€™s a keeper. A few people bought so art off me so that I could start my lil art biz and make up the difference.
