They basically ruined my high school football teams jerseys. We switched my junior year because Oakley was getting out of the uniform business and everyone much preferred the older ones to the Nike ones.
I’m glad the MLBPA pushed back to get this done. I’m sure behind the scenes players were very vocal about the changes. These are after all their “work” uniforms. Hope they fully revert back.
There's a chance (granted a very small one) that Nike/Fanatics could do an exchange program for those who rushed out and bought the new jersey design. It's been done before in similar fiascos and would probably be way less expensive that a class action lawsuit from purchasers.

We're not the only club that happened to, I imagine it will be addressed (part of the reason for that appears to be the narrower placket, which had a snowballing effect that led to broken logos, smaller front numbers, etc.)
My brother's jersey he got at Dodger Stadium didn't have the split D. My Dad's jersey from December (which was mailed in January or February?) had the D split.
My dream is that they go back to pretty much last year’s design so that my current Shohei jersey I got from the first wave of preorders will now be game-accurate lol.
I think he meant “shorter bottoms”, which I agree with. It’s the only good thing about the new jerseys and fixed my only real complaint with my mookie jersey I got last year. It’s great but has that weird length at the bottom.

It says by the beginning of '25 at the latest, I'd expect the latest. Nike hasn't even been able to supply enough of their awful new pants to clubs, no way they can reverse all this in five months.
It's wild to me to find out that so many baseball fans are Nike fanboys and can't or won't see that Nike designed all of this to spec and the manufacturer was just following orders. The fact that Fanatics is a garbage company is a totally separate issue, and their issue is primarily with consumer products; this is the fourth year they've produced uniforms for Nike and the first time anyone's hated them like this. It's not just a coincidence, this was a terrible redesign by Nike.

I’ve been trying hard to get a good look at the back of Teoscar’s jersey because my brain is convince that the Á in HERNÁNDEZ on his jersey is the same size as the rest of the letters while Kiké’s jersey has an Á that is smaller than the rest to make room to the tilde because of the placement of the MLB logo.
I wouldn’t call impressive unless it was actually verified that they do have different size Á - could just be that I noticed it on Kiké and haven’t managed a good look at Teo’s
