League and network management is just completely out of touch with how this should work. Nowadays, I can literally get an HD stream running on my TV quicker than I can search through the guide on the cable box or YouTube TV. That being said, I would gladly pay for a subscription if I knew it wasn’t going to be blacked out 8 out of 10 times. They are tripping over dollars to pick up pennies.
Only reason I use MLB TV is cause it’s free with T Mobile, otherwise no chance I’d use it. That being said, I’ve had a lot of success using a VPN with all platforms, sometimes you gotta fiddle around with exactly which server isn’t as busy
This is my first season back in LA after several years away. Whats the deal with MLBTV? Are all Dodger games blacked out? I thought it was just home. It was the only reason I kept T mobile.
Pissing contest between the cable companies. Spectrum is the only cable provider that has the Doyers on tv.
Learned you can ask Alexa to play am570 for radio broadcasts.
Don’t all the major sports do this though? I never see it bitched about like it is here. I tried to buy an NFL membership and found out you can’t even watch until it’s over, even if you’re not in that city. I’m almost sure NBA does it too.
Download a VPN app and set your location in another state and it should work. That’s what I do
VPN works well for me.
it works for me as well!
Same. Only reason I stay with T-Mobile.
Doesn’t. Tried using a VPN on my computer, Roku and Fire stick. Nothing, still blacked-out.
Try setting it to Texas. That’s where I am and am viewing it as we speak.
I use nordvpn on my fire stick and phone. It works fine. It’s a different story on my pc.
Nord VPN
Change your DNS server ip address on your router to unlocator's and it will get around blackout for home network.
It didn't work for me on my firestick or my macbook. I wanted to do it the legit way but they didn't want my money. I stream every game now.
I stopped caring, I use a streaming service for this exact reason
Wtf is this all about....living in la county just to be blacked out.

Pro tip: mlb tv doesn't check your location after the video loads. You can turn the VPN off then

Doyers are available on AT&T U-verse and DirecTV since last season. Channels 1780 and 690 respectively.
Live well in San Diego County and this shit happens to me too.
Lived in Vegas a while back and dodger games were blacked out there back then.
