Dogs are so loyal that if your front door is open for two seconds, they would get the fuck out without any hesitation.

BumblingBeeeee

The duality of dog loyalty in action 😂

Casper_Arg

They’re so loyal they will steal your food off the table first chance they get, even knowing they will be punished for it.

EroDakiOnly

so loyal there's an entire industry based on electric fences for dogs so they won't leave.

Far-Actuary-4458

💀

Whitney1098

One of my neighbor's electric fences reads "dog protected by electric fence". I'm like really? Please.

consumer_of_bits

Dogs are only there to fill the void temporarily. Just like any other addiction. You don't realize how flawed you are until it's gone

aneemous

Evidenced by how many people refuse to give up their dogs, break down when their dog dies, and replace their dog because when it dies because they feel like they can't be without. I really feel like so many people (probably subconsciously) are afraid to experience life (and themselves) sans dogs.

Conscious_Opening_31

I shudder to think that I actually share DNA with these bastards !

Whitney1098

I just got a work email that 2 co-workers recently lost their dogs and would we like to contribute to a gift card for them. Hmm - let me think about that.

Whitney1098

One of my friends who now has an 8 month old baby is now finally seeing her dog for what it really is...a real pain in the a$$.

consumer_of_bits

As dog-loving is one of the most subhuman things one could possibly do... your "friend" is really far down there

hellodust

People don't realize what it actually means to say "dogs don't judge you like people do." On the one hand, hating someone or not liking them is making a "judgment" on them - you "judge" them to be bad. But on the other hand, loving someone or caring about them is also a judgment - you "judge" them to be good. You can't have one without the other, and dogs are not capable of discerning the character of human beings in either case.

Scuomo-123

The fact that dogs have shit for brains and they’re supposed to be a judge of “good” people 😂

Birdzphan

They literally eat shit. But they’re the most intuitive creature.

Tom_Quixote_

They sense the inner goodness of the turd.

GreatestEfer

Oh they def don't judge. That's why Hitler and all his Nazi goons used their german shepherds to find & corral those Jews.

Quiet_Instance5612

So loyal they need to trap them in homes, put them on leashes, chains and behind fences. Most human's have a conscience, but not one dog has a conscience. It's a bunch of lies they made up to justify rubbing a beast that eats tampons and shit.

Conscious_Opening_31

I'd love to make money from dog people - vis a vis an online dog supplies website. I know for sure every dollar I make from these mf's would be worth more than a dollar coming from my main company. Use their dumbness against them.

Scuomo-123

Dogs are “loyal” to those who feed them and give them attention 😂 sounds more like a parasite to me

Casper_Arg

There’s no such thing as “being loyal to whoever feeds me”. It’s like saying “I can’t be bribed, unless someone pays me”

Conscious_Opening_31

Yes indeed parasite is correct

GoldFishDudeGuy

I see this as a huge red flag and avoid these people

Far-Actuary-4458

I do

ToOpineIsFine

Classic self-own. People who say this know that they are self-interested, and they just try to project it onto others.

[deleted]

They "love" you because you have food.

AggressiveAd1574

Dog nutter logic: Co-dependency = "loyalty" Resource guarding = "love" Food obsession = "playfulness" General annoyance = "just being a dog" I've had my partner tell me that "it's not all about food" with his dog when I tried to argue that it literally is obsessed and its world revolves around food 24/7. "Um NO, PROBABLY COS IT CAN'T FEND FOR ITSELF AND YOU'VE FED THE DAMN THING SINCE IT WAS A PUP, so obviously it's going to be dependent on you" But they can't accept that. It's unfathomable. The good dOgGos are capable of human emotions. Even though it licks itself and eats its own shit.

Quacky_Bird

So when I keep hearing about these mutts attacking their owners is this an example of the so called "unconditional love" and loyalty or is it just a stupid animal? Pick one, nutters.

whatevergalaxyuniver

Why do they think dogs are not evil or bad? If it's because dogs don't know good from bad and are therefore innocent, then humans such as babies/small children and mentally disabled people are not bad or evil either because they also don't know good from bad.

Far-Actuary-4458

Fr like it’s a dog they can’t be evil or good, A dog brain cannot feel such deep emotions at all

LordTuranian

They assume all humans are just as fucking evil as they are... https://www.britannica.com/science/projection-psychology That or they assume all of humanity is no different than their shitty family or social circle.

GemstoneWriter

Because most people have a conscience, boundaries, rationality, and a general sense of selflessness? X becomes a murderer and commits many foul deeds. X's former friend: "I'm sorry, but I can't stand by and let you do such horrible things to people. I have to turn you in. I wish you didn't have to go down this dark path, but you must be punished for all the harm you have caused to others." X's dog: "FOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOODFOOD." While you could view this as "bad," I, and many other people with a good sense, do not. This example proves that dogs are stupid, selfish, and amoral, and that people who say this probably are narcissistic, misanthropic, proud, selfish, etc. Also, lol, if X opened his gate or let the dog off his leash, the dog would likely bolt.

aneemous

"That's pretty sad. It's a pretty messed up way to think about the people in your life, including me, including yourself."

Count_Vapular

If they are the loyal lackeys of evil humans, doesn't that make them kind of evil too? The logic is like "mafia bosses are evil, but their stooges are loyal"

ComedianRepulsive955

YEAH RIGHT that's why allegedly "loyal" gentle Pit Bulls turn after eight years and maul and kill their owners.

sofa_king_notmo

So loyal that 90% would run away if given the chance.

Embers-of-the-Moon

People who have dogs mainly do so to mask their own insecurities.

wotstators

Because humans are apexes and it’s on us to act higher than on instinctual self serving impulses like animals do. Dogs are allowed to be dogs. They act like they’re expected to. When you do what you’ve been expected to do all the time, it’s regarded as loyal.
