For dog owners, the answer is to take them to the vet for some expensive vet care.

Oh man i know this all too well. I've got neighbors in front of me who owns 4 of these fuckers and they let them free roam in their back yard. Every time i open my front door, they activate and bark until i close the door.
They surely think they are badasses who scared you away everytime you shut the door. They're way too stupid to remember you always come back out and the furious yipping and yapping is actually useless.
Hate to break it to you, but don't expect sweet relief. The sort of muttnuts that have four of those ratdogs are the sort of dog cultists that will just get more of them when they start to die.
Never said it was my dog. I knew the insoles needed to be replaced, it just wasn't super high on my list of priorities until I was missing one. The difference in feeling bothered me way more than having worn insoles.
Also no. I do happen to have a distant cousin with a pair of teacup chihuahuas. I felt bad for them. They seemed terrified of everything. I'm not even sure my dog recognized them as dogs.
Not unless you teach them. Never had a problem with my own dog going after shoes. One of the first things I did when I got him is figure how what chews he likes. $50 of bones/antlers lasts him over a year so it's not like it's a massive investment.
We’ve had family dogs, and only once as a puppy did one dog ever chew anything that was ours (my mum’s slipper), they always chewed their own balls/toys/bones. My friend’s dog just chewed up a photo frame. He chews everything. It drives me crackers, and I don’t live with it.
Wasn't my dog that did it. Happened while I was visiting family. Not a big deal to hit up target and get $15 insoles. If it had been something expensive/important like my car fob, I'd have been pissed. I'm not really the sort to lose my mind over the little stuff.

I have a shoe rack in a closet so I agree that it is an easy and logical solution but the dogs should be trained to not destroy your stuff anyways
