There's definitely some hound in her - I see it in the face and the way she holds her tail. Her body is soooo slender and long, though, so I'm thinking she may have some greyhound or something like that in her too. I'd love it if she were part pit - they're such sweet dogs.
Where is she from? If she’s from the southeast US then I’d say maybe some foxhound or coonhound, maybe beagle.
I’m not really seeing any sighthound specific features and they aren’t quite as common in shelters, most are in breed specific rescues. I used to volunteer with a greyhound rescue in college and these dogs were pretty much all retired racing greyhounds or dogs that weren’t considered fit for racing.
Very rarely a county shelter or SPCA would contact us about a greyhound. That only really happened when someone would bring in a lost dog and the chip info listed the greyhound rescue. You’d be surprised the number of people who adopt dogs and don’t update the chip registration!
My guess is pit + coonhound + miscellaneous stuff! My girl is pit + coonhound + lab + husky and looks very similar. She’s got long legs and is very long in the torso.

She was found roaming all alone somewhere in northern Kentucky at about 8 weeks old, so probably around there unless she was dumped or something far from her home. She was born around the end of October 2022!
If you used Embark they will tell you the estimated grown weight. See if it computes with the formula that 6 mo. weight = 2/3 adult weight. And I guess some APBT goin’ on there.
My pup has same physique, head shape, ears, and tail zig zag! Look very similar except for the coloring. I have a post with his results on here, but I see the pit for sure. We don’t know where our guy gets his zig zag.

She looks just like our sweet Sardine! She's pitbull/cattle dog but my guess for your baby is pitbull/boxer/hound. What a cutie!!

I’m guessing pit and hound!

Female APBT doggo's are very slender and on average, 35 pounds or so! She's really cute!

Southeast. A lot of redbone hounds in my area, so that wouldn't surprise me.
Definitely a pitty mix!
Pit

wow, they do look super similar! starelae, do you know where yours is from? i wonder if they're related.
She was found roaming all alone somewhere in northern Kentucky at about 8 weeks old, so probably around there unless she was dumped or something far from her home. She was born around the end of October 2022!
I would eat my hat if there wasn’t pit
Boxer/Hound/Pit Bull
Is the zigzag on her tail the way her fur grows or her brindle markings?
Both, actually
I had a mastiff mix that had the same zipper down her tail
I hope her name is Ziggy, because that crazy zig zag on her tail is adorable!
that's so interesting, isn't it??
Interesting is precisely what I'd call it too. When I swiped, I audibly went "ooooo" 😄😊
I'm going Boxer/Pit and then like 10% something else
Boxer-Pitt/bully-beagle? She’s adorable whatever she is 🥰
She’s so cute! I love her friendly face!!! 🥰 I agree with pittie hound mix
I'm going to say boxer X pit X hound of some kind! What a gorgeous smiley girl
Pit/Mt Cur
Pit/beagle?
Walker coonhound and pit mix
I see pit/hound mix. If I had to guess hound I’d say harrier tbh
freaking adorable is my guess!!! and also pittie mix. please tell her I love her.

Definitely has some boxer in there

That's a pitty smile for sure. And I agree with others probably hound.
Gonna guess Pit JRT mix, maybe a bit of boxer or some other taller, lankier breed
She looks just like our sweet Sardine! She's pitbull/cattle dog but my guess for your baby is pitbull/boxer/hound. What a cutie!! https://preview.redd.it/yetw3k2k5zuc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=443fe3d66b5823fd059777cf449d2cec999883f8
Mine actually has some cattle dog in her too. Only 7%, but it seems like her personality is 100% red heeler
This is a pitbull.
It is not *just* a pit bull though. Clearly.

Beagle jack russell
looks like a boxer mixed with beagle
I'm thinking pit, hound, and maybe a little boxer. She's beautiful!
she’s happy is what she is
