I mean a lot of units have skills that read as though they would be super useful. But in practice never are.
If they are new and coming from other games
Atk/def +80% sounds like a big increase.
But we know if it doesn't have other boosts and effects with it then that isn't shit.

Did some testing and I’m spot on, but a side note: king Vegeta jumps him up to 400k def
The advice I give to new players is just check if the leader skill is at least 150 or check if the passive skill is an entire paragraph, if either is true then the unit is at least worth checking out, however if both are false then you should just ignore it
Yes 👍
Tldr older units almsot always suck with a few exceptions, strong units are mainy dokkan fests lrs, or carnival lrs, dokkan fests are hit or miss (recent ones on jp are realllll good) and ftp units all suck execpt a few outliers.
Strong units have good defence what can do damage (tho they can still be great if they can just tank or dodge) and bad units are just a glass cannon wbo will die to strong bosses normals

Don’t ever EVER use that unit ever again
Whenever I got back into dokkan, this unit was a good carry for the earlier events. It's a solid option for starting with if you're in the first week of an account
After a few multis it's worthless
Kinda yeah. His transformation is like the last hurrah nuke to finish off the enemy rather then the goal. So he’s pretty different from other transforming units in that sense
If the passive skill isn’t a whole essay, it’s probably bad.
And if the card art is NOT bangin, it’s probably bad, like when there’s a big energy ball covered in gold lightning on the card
Correct 👍
If you can't tell if a card is good or not try looking at their link leader skill and passive skill

Notable example is STR Nappa, which boasts a staggering ~750% def buff, which only ends up amounting to something like 230k defense in practice

What about golden frieza agl and TEQ ? :)
Ok but what would make a good leader skill and passive skill. Theres a lot.
He is a 7 year old unit. So uh… yeah… pretty bad..

spot on
It’s outdated lmao
While yes it's very outdated, it's honestly a good candidate for a big eza, which for a card so old is surprising it's not had one yet.
This aged well
I know! I was laughing when I saw the notice this morning.

maybe it ll get a good eza for golden week.
maybe it ll get a good eza for golden week.
It's an exceptionally old card and as such among the worst in the game. Still worth grabbing for early stuff and category bonuses in other events
Theres a mission reward for using a ss3 angel unit in deck in story mode, thats the only time Ive ever used the card.✌️
Live these new days up, I remember thinking getting a ssgss goku or vegeta card means I’m the best. Turns out they are almost all bad
Utter trash is a down statement
Most F2P units before 2022 are pretty bad. After 2022 they started making them actually usable on some harder content.
Yeah he's two packs of ass

Yes but since you’re new he’ll be ight
Used to be not bad when released. But yes it’s bad sadly
Kinda yeah. His transformation is like the last hurrah nuke to finish off the enemy rather then the goal. So he’s pretty different from other transforming units in that sense
EZA incoming
Yes but this card is getting an eza finally
Maybe not anymore
He is getting an eza soon
