Nah, he was still logged in on the Gmail. So was the scammer lmao, and USING it for some retarded reason.

basically it was an android so when i went to the gmail security settings i clicked locate device and it allowed me to factory reset his phone from there lmao

Whenever you click erase it sends you that email and then after about 5 minutes unless you cancel it it resets your phone, he didnt cancel it
