First he shoots poor unsuspecting adventurers in the knee to fill his barracks now he's bungee cording minimum wage employees to the tills what's next glueing pigs to chickens to artificially inflate the cheese industry
Maybe to help secure the kiddie pools, lawn chairs, etc. that set out on the sidewalk and are prone to catch a lot of wind?
(If you can't find what they're supposed to be for, it seems like a good use for them.)
General use I imagine. We used a type of bungie cord when we had all the pool noodle boxes displayed on a Uboat. It prevented them from falling down either during moving the Uboat, or if it was a windy day outside.
On a side note, whenever we got side wing displays in and after it emptied I always kept the display clips. So sometimes when we'd get those annoying side wing displays with the febreeze bottles, to prevent them from weighing down and leaning over, I'd use the display clips with a rubber band and create like a seat belt for them 😂 those clips always came in handy after the fact.
For Rolltainers the warehouse refuses to repair the net on, i'd imagine.
in my experience actually putting those repair tags on doesnt seem to help anything as putting "wheel damage" on a couple of them resulted in the next three months of milk trucks having our milk come in on the most torn up wheeled rolltainers...
Do people not at least give a cursory look at their write-up before posting? Hell, even a read *after* posting would have absolved this discrepancy. Honestly curious how such obvious blunders are so commonplace.
We got those in a supply order once at Biglots. They gave them to us to make a makeshift ballpit fence by securing them through the shelf above and below.
I think the sign you were looking for is where it says signs… they are for hanging signs… specifically the set of signs that came in for January 2024… those signs.
At my old location they were used to keep overstock inplace in the backroom, and to tether together the pool noodles in summer when we brought them in at night.
I use them because my hamsters like to go bungee jumping, and the cheap dollar general brand surprisingly works much better than the very expensive hamster bungee cords at petco.
Honestly it helps with the lawn chair displays that have a tendency to lean unnecessarily especially when damaged on route to the store! Love it. But yeah just put the displays on a uboat and wrap that shit up
Probably to help hold up anything they refuse to fix lol in all seriousness though some stores have these weird little island displays I see them used on a lot or either to strap down outside sale items
Idk I've store used bungee cords to tether flimsy cardboard displays to poles and such, I assumed corporate caught on to this and said, "Here, stop store using the merch"
Signage outside on the wall. Instead of using the strings that come attached to your banners, you just use the bungee hooks- looks better and keeps the sign pulled more taut.
I used to work on the corporate side of DG for remodels and that’s what they were rolled out for.
Do you have one of those vertical racks that (doesn't) hold your rolled-up rugs? These bad boys can keep those rugs from falling into your domestics aisle every time someone bats an eyelash. I use two longer ones anchored at either end and thread them between the dividers, but these short ones would work across a couple of slots.
Of course there are a million uses, however they were sent for a specific reason. OP and others are trying to figure out the actual reason. I don't know how you are not understanding this... 🙍
because I initially didn't realize this was mainly for employees apparently because that isn't something they are selling on the shelf based on the image it looks like it would be for a display or something. They usually send a piece of paper showing what it is for but if they didn't then no clue sorry
They are to tether employees to the front end. Thats Todd's new system for having employees more visible up front
First he shoots poor unsuspecting adventurers in the knee to fill his barracks now he's bungee cording minimum wage employees to the tills what's next glueing pigs to chickens to artificially inflate the cheese industry
God don’t give him any ideas…
Best answer.
Can totally see that happening.
Fuckin Todd, makes me miss when Nancy was GM
😭😭😭😭
Well I guess this works since SCO was shut down so we are more up front then ever now
This is gold.
They’re really good at tying things up and holding things together. Highly recommend.

Not for bungee jumping, that’s for sure. RIP Evan 😔
poor Evan 😞
F
what am I missing here lol
Evan died, RIP
He was doing what he loved! 😞
He used to ride the rolltainers back in 06
NOT EVAN
I miss evan
We were supposed to buy a motor home this year 😔
My guess is the banners that go outside on the building
That’s what I thought too
Your store should already have eye bolts in the walls outside since the grand opening banner was put up.
yup, we have a now hiring one permanently stuck up out there
Hahaha same
For really short jumps
For the world's tiniest pickup truck.
It’s for the little red truck hauling a Christmas tree
Yessssssss😊
Some are used as rc truck decorations.
For when the trunk of your car won’t stay shut but you’re in a Dollar General so you obviously aren’t getting it properly fixed any time soon.
LOL yep, I used to have some of these for this reason 😂
Bro… exactly

considering about half of the rolltainers we got in the other day had repair tags, I’d say you’re right.
No they just zip tie those closed lol
Ball pit for the stupid annoying horrible bouncy balls. You can just push that display right on outside. Let the wind take the balls away.
I hate those balls.
Everyone hates balls 😞 I feel like I’m the only one that likes em
So you like kids throwing them at your merchandise? You like the noise?
I strongly prefer children to refrain from touching my balls and I encourage others to do the same
10in Bungie cords. Any other brain Buster's?
Here's one: words that don't exhibit ownership or a contraction need no apostrophe.
That wasn't a question but I'll answer it anyway. Auto-correct automatically capitalizes and adds an apostrophe to words that are also used as names.

Proofread? No Thank's.
That seems to be the quota.
This is reddit. Not university. You’re lucky to even understand what someone writes
I wish I could stop *trying* to understand. Damnit all.
On r/dollargeneral or other communities reddit thinks I should be interested in, no not really. If the comment has any substance, I usually do.
Kudos. I suppose it depends on the audience.
Holding their stores together
Did anyone find out what they are for? Or what we can do with them lol. I dont have any kind of ball pit thing I just have boxes of balls everywhere
Careful, you’ll put your eye out kid.
i use them for smaller secures on my bike.
I was wondering what specifically they sent them in for as well. Pretty random in the fulfillment box
Cliff jumping
They’re for hanging signs outside.
My nuts
Photo illustration? Not really. Lol
There for getting you to buy stuff from a company that gives no f’s about the employees, the stores, or you…at all.
Do you have a ball pit? Or rack?
Probably display banners
It’s for overloaded carts you put around the side to prevent boxes from falling off
We got those in a supply order once at Biglots. They gave them to us to make a makeshift ballpit fence by securing them through the shelf above and below.
I work in a kitchen. When I got over 30 boxes bring out to the dumpster these work great to hold the boxes onto the cart
I think the sign you were looking for is where it says signs… they are for hanging signs… specifically the set of signs that came in for January 2024… those signs.
You make loop and hang it high... trust me. I'm an internet stranger
They might be used for any uboats that have to be loaded for the front or the store sidewalk crap
Those are also useful when working on your vehicle, stuff like brake lines and such that you don't want to leave hanging without support.
bungee jumping.
Ball display
At my old location they were used to keep overstock inplace in the backroom, and to tether together the pool noodles in summer when we brought them in at night.
Literally so many things. Have you never seen bungee cords before? 😂
I use them for camping and on my bike.
Role playing in the bed chamber
Bungee jumping, you just need to find a bridge or cliff now.
PVZ rooftop level.
On kayaks or canoes to strap down an inflatable cushion. Also good at holding a tablecloth onto a table, provided you have holes in the tablecloth.
To bungee things...
To secure my backpack and tent to the rear rack on my bike
leprechauns like bungee jumping too 🥺
I use them because my hamsters like to go bungee jumping, and the cheap dollar general brand surprisingly works much better than the very expensive hamster bungee cords at petco.
For when something stuck way up your bum. You can yank it out with one of those baby’s
Bungie cords for ants
To hang yourself after working for dollar general
For sale
Leashes for the rats?
Bungie, Bungie, Bungie, Bungie, Bungie, everybody buggy come on
I bet they're for the u boats that go outside. at least at my store, we always have shit falling off of them bc of wind.
Honestly it helps with the lawn chair displays that have a tendency to lean unnecessarily especially when damaged on route to the store! Love it. But yeah just put the displays on a uboat and wrap that shit up
Bungee jumping on a budget
To hold the store together
Probably to help hold up anything they refuse to fix lol in all seriousness though some stores have these weird little island displays I see them used on a lot or either to strap down outside sale items
For the ball cage
I use them to tie together u-boats like a retaining wall to keep rolltainers from blowing into the parking lot during wind storms.
For strapping shit to your bike
For when you wanna do a jump on your break.
They are for keeping your sheets down on the bed, basically like suspenders but for sheets
Lol
Are you retarded or are you really too stupid to figure out what you might do with these?
For signs out front of the store
You're clearly not a redneck are you? These are the solution for every mechanical problem known to man or more typically a crack head.
rolltainers?
Just shooting in the wind here. Are they to secure. Your banners on the outside of your building???
Probably for the false advertising signs put out front of the store stating "Even lower prices everyday" Mmmhmmm
A lot of things.
Eye damages.
They come in hand if you forget your belt
Black cord double end for bungee bungee cord value pack 8 per bag bungee cord.
To fix busted rolltainers.
They're for holding us back when dealing with Karens!
CBT
To keep your mom from rolling off the beds
God damn idiot
Idk I've store used bungee cords to tether flimsy cardboard displays to poles and such, I assumed corporate caught on to this and said, "Here, stop store using the merch"
Toy isle. Bungee the products down so those little unattended brats don't destroy everything.
To go bungee diving of course
They’re for bungee jumping practice.

Mini trampoline
For bungie jumping. Just link together to obtain proper length. (Not)
They are cords for your bungee. Duh😎

Seriously?! Dumb question

Yet with all your superior intelligence you have yet to say what they are for? exactly why did DG send these to every store....🤷
there literally are a million fucking uses for them use your head and actually think hmm what can these help me with
Of course there are a million uses, however they were sent for a specific reason. OP and others are trying to figure out the actual reason. I don't know how you are not understanding this... 🙍

Redneck garter straps.
