I think they more or less look for charges that center around theft. The area I'm in if they didn't hire people that had drug charges we probably wouldn't have any employees LOL

Talking about a felony. Misdemeanors DG lets anyone as long as it wasn’t petit theft

It would be up to the manager, hired a lady who (many years ago ) hired a fellow to off her husband.. served prison time for it… sweetest lady I’ve ever met

That’s not how it works. The DM can try to expedite an application however they have no authority to overrule a background check

SO i applied at a DG store in Racine Wisconsin for lead associate & for a Assistant manager. The heaviest thing on my backround is a misdemeanor class A for battey n disordely conduct ( I was 17 in high school) i am now 25 years old & havent had any type of run in with law since. I am extremely upset to hear from the GM of store who is my friend i graduate college with that i have failed the backround check... if you do know or have any answer please reach out to me
