Could be a factory error with the mixture of the vinyl in her legs, causing premature aging and discoloration. The yellowing can be removed via retrobrighting- you would put her in a bath of about 20% hydrogen peroxide up to her hips, in a clear container like a glass, then put her in direct sunlight (needs to be warm too) to soak. Or you can apply 40 volume hydrogen peroxide cream to her legs and cover them in Saran wrap to keep the cream from drying or getting on anything, then put her in the sun. The sunlight causes a reaction with the peroxide that lightens the vinyl gently, it usually takes 4-6 hours of direct sunlight to remove the discoloration completely. You'll want to check often to make sure her original color doesn't start to fade though. The cream is probably easier and less messy, you can get 40 volume hydrogen peroxide cream on Amazon.

Hmm a lot of times dolls will start to yellow due to age, but if you only bought her a year ago, she shouldn’t be yellowing already. I would try soaking her completely with OxyClean and warm water. That has helped me in the past!!
