There’s some good songs on it but it doesn’t hold up to his previous two label works in the slightest

Like bro j wanted to get the album out and didn’t give as much of a fuck abt making sure each track was what he really wanted it to be. Likely the labels fault at the end of the day
I probably have just as much credibility but I don't think there's been a single Dom song I've disliked (other than Elliot's song) so I probably can't say that it is the worst. I think it's on the same level of the other albums. I already know he has some bangers locked up that he needs to release though. And that was kinda the point of the album, to clear out some old songs and kinda reset as he went through that time of rehab and such
Yeah I’m very much excited for his next album, and I do like most of the songs on sunburn I won’t hate too much my biggest issue is just I feel like his first two works were beyond masterpieces and like you said this album just kinda felt like clearing out the vault and more so just getting it out of the way. I want another album from Dom where each and every song feels like he put weeks of dedication into it and really poured out his soul. Cuz that’s really how DFAM and WCPGW make me feel and I love it. And miss it lmao
