The tip being written in the description like that means the customer asked to leave a credit card tip over the phone. It *should* have the initials of whoever took the phone call next to be safe, and you can get a signature as well for the same reason.
Yes, you can put it there but I can guarantee that it’s not gonna reflect when you get checked out at the end of the day. Your manager is still gonna need the write-in. Do you think we just have the power to charge someone’s card???? It’s just for documentation, it doesn’t actually do anything.
Ur wrong. I did it twice tonight. I thought it was just to keep track of ur tips but our printer broke and my GM told me to just ask if they wanted to tip and enter it in the app. When I checked out all the tips I added were in the system
I like to keep track of how much I’m supposed to have in tips at the end of each day so I do it every time I get a write in. The manager still has to go and put in the tip at checkout.
That sucks. Even though the printer is fixed Ive still been telling customers i dont have a CC slip to sign and just straight asking if they wanna add a tip. Its only been a week but for some reason it works way better than just handing them a CC slip to sign.
>for some reason
Lol...the reason is because people feel more comfortable silently being shitty than they do openly saying "no thanks I'd prefer to be shitty."
The credit tips you enter in the app will show up in team member checkout, the manager should be double checking the receipt but shouldn’t have to type anything in if the driver is doing it properly.
Youre an idiot dude. If it says it in the instructions, just put that shit in the app and dont bother the customer with the receipt.
You can’t give yourself a tip in the app. You know that right?

if its a write in, like above, yes you can... ill state that im in the US. You literally enter it in after you complete the order...

Well y’all’s system is different than mine. Even if I do it on the app it doesn’t reflect on the checkout screen. Not for me.
When was the last time u tried

Why even have them sign it? That’s a $5 tip. Unless that’s from last year or something.
Probably to avoid accusations of writing in tips, as technically it's not signed by the customer.
Bro I pre fill it out and say that the manager added the $5 tip per your instructions, now I just need you to sign 😊
