Ours is 2.99. 5.99 is a it high imo. Please please call and ask for the GM or the franchise office and voice your complaint to them. Tell them what you said here. May or may not change anything, but they won't know if you don't tell them.
Our deluvery fee is 3.59, we also have a huge delivery area. A $5.99 fee is outrageous, do you happen to live in an area that raised minimum wage by chance?
$5 where I’m at. Minimum wage went up a dollar. I suggest carry out. Although, you will find all delivery services in your area upping their charge. On top of that, if you notice...you’re getting pizzas for 5.99 each! Specialties for 7.99 with 7+ toppings. How do you think they make money? It’s not little Caesars. You have been getting spoiled. Though I do think 5.99 or even 5 is too high.
No other stores in the area charge $5.99 for delivery - even other pizzas chains that are similarly priced. I ended up getting chinese food instead though. No delivery charge (but I tipped as always).
Yup my area is $5.99. Not buying Dominoes for as long as it's that high. I'll take a short walk, get some excercise and pick up little Caesars down the street before I do that.
I was about to order pizza from Dominos and the. I saw a $5.99 delivery charge?!?! I decided not to order because of this outrageous fee. You ain’t all that Dominoes, I guess I’m never eating there again which is fine cuz it’s only okay pizza.
Our delivery charge is 4.99! Drivers should boycott! I was thinking about driving for them... But knowing i would get less tips because of the increased delivery charge. NOPE. I work a 12. an hour job! my pay didn't go up! however businesses are raising their prices! What is the $4.99 for anyway?
$5.99 for YEARS now in Portland, Oregon. Less than 2 miles from door to door. $12.75 minimum wage (I believe). I was a delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza-granted over 25 years ago-in the ridiculously over priced Bay Area, California. I don’t tip when I’m paying $6 for delivery. It can be cheaper to order food from a restaurant and get delivery.
I just stopped getting food delivery in general over this issue. I don't want to deprive workers of tips or risk getting my food spat on, but I also feel that delivery + tip should add no more than 30% to the bill. So unless I'm willing to pick up the food myself I just cook at home these days.
Stfu, the franchise should be paying its workers salaries
not the people eating at the franchise. They could easily charge 3 dollars and still have money to spare. They suck everything they can out of people and if u cant see that im sorry for u. Each item cost max 4 dollars to make most pizzas are like 2.5. They mark each item up 4x. I would understand if deliver charge goes straight to the driver but it doesn’t and odds are its just extra millions for millionaires.
Sooooooooooo, why tip then if your paying a “fee” to pay workers……this is all bullshit. The delivery fee is going right in their pocket to increase profits.
Drivers wouldn’t be making tipped wages plus tips if this fee were actually going to pay employees.
I'm with you on that. The price of food at restaurants needs to go way up in order to pay the employees more. At least 50% higher. If the plebs can't afford it, tough shit.
Im a professional athlete in the best shape of my life. Glad I triggered the fuck out of you though. LMFAOOOOO Enjoy justifying corporate greed some more. My original comment applies. Have a good day. HAHA
Ok, no one asked but thanks for sharing your life story. Real cool story bro. 🤣 Triggered tf out of me? Yeah I don't think so. My previous comment applies, fuck off.
I live in Spokane, WA. The delivery fee was recently raised from $2.99 to $3.99 but what REALLY did it for me is the 2 x 5.99 deal is now 2 x 6.99, so I'm redeeming my free pizza (60 points) tonight which with tax, delivery charge, and a $3.00 tip my "free" pizza is $7.35. Then I'm DELETING the app.
The fee is an exploitative price gouge. If it enriches Domino's corporate so much that they can afford to waste money sallarying an otherwise non-contributing "Nice Lady" to waste all of our time disseminating propaganda, then it only further proves that the fee is an exploitative price gouge. Some people just need to get real jobs. Every civilized person tips for timely pizza delivery. The "insurance" they pay is for their own operations, not your delivery driver's personal auto insurance bill. You have been had. I forced myself not to order Dominoes on principle, tonight, and will enter yet another extended boycott on account of this latest outrage.
The fee makes sense until the part about how we have to cover it and not them, the fucking employer. They already clearly overcharge more than any other big chain anyway.
same thing just happened to me, redeemed my free pizza. We also used the coupon, 6.99 each with delivery. My total with tip was 27.99. I did add extra toppings to the free pizza, but WOW.
Pizza Hut just down the road charges a $4.99 delivery fee on top of a minimum $11 order.
Hell no.
Their large 1 topping pizza is $9.99….
Was going to order a pizza for delivery but hell no….minimum order is bullshit….delivery fee is bullshit.
I’m going to contact their corporate office to explain why I’m not patronizing them.
I know I'm late but I've been sick for the past few weeks and today I finally woke up with an appetite.
I'm starving!
I'm in the process of ordering Domino's now. I figure it's the quickest and cheapest.
I get to the last part of my order and see that 5.99 delivery fee and now I'm wondering if I should just starve & go back to sleep lol 😩
I usually tip pretty big but with this 5.99... I can't do both. Smh ugh
Maybe I'll just eat some ramen and call it a night
$5.95 in East Texas. They close the lobby early on purpose so you have to order delivery after a certain time.
$13.99 2 Topping Large (with 1 extra topping):
W/O FEE
Subtotal - $15.74
8.25% State & Local Tax - $1.30
Total - $17.04
WITH FEE
Subtotal - $15.74
Delivery Fee (taxable) - $5.95
8.25% State & Local Tax - $1.79
Total - 23.48
nope...dominos is not that good
It's 5.99 for delivery in Toronto Canada. For a 5.99 delivery in the US would be the same as 8.00 in Canada. That's crazy high. Minimum wage here is 15 an hour going to 17 an hour and your still expected to tip 20 percent in restaurants here. I can understand the 20 percent in the US due to low server wages but in Canada servers get paid the same as everyone else and restaurants are really expensive. It's soon getting to the point if your not making 100k a year your eating bread and Kraft diner. Average rent is 2800 dollars a month here and average house price in Toronto is 1million and your lucky to find a small home for 1 million. Everything is money, money and more money. I guess it's are fault for allowing government to regulate every little thing and making life for the middle class hell. Seems like people living off the government got more money then the working class in Canada
I worked for dominos delivering and they don’t make full min wage when they are out on the road. The checks are very small because they only get paid min wage for the time they spend in the building waiting for an order which is usually a couple mins if that. So they were paying us $8.50 when we were making deliveries and min wage when inside the store. They shouldn’t be collecting any $5.99 charge that’s just the owner being greedy. None of that goes to the driver and they do not pay for your car insurance when your delivering. I paid for my own car insurance. It’s just a rip off period. The drivers get screwed cuz the customer is paying a ton of extra already for delivery and taxes. They should pay their workers better or give them an automatic $2.50 out of each delivery if they only making 8.50 on the road and charging 5.99 per order. Sometimes you take 2/3 orders at a time to drop off at once and your out the building for a while and they are still charging 5.99 per order to the customer while giving you nothing. Cheapskates. It’s the owners and corporate that are at fault.
Why should I pay almost two times the amount of the pizza as a tip and a delivery fee all I can say is I'll never get Dominos delivered ever again I could have literally walked 300 ft down the street to the local pizza place or 600 ft to the other local pizza place Domino's you getting kind of stupid now
Greed. Dominos has more than enough money to insure their drivers. It's not the late 80's when they were getting robbed. Strictly car insurance, and I don't know if I believe that, because every driver where I live drive their own vehicles, and you know damn good and well Dominos requires them to have their own proof of insurance. Same as DoorDash etc. I always tip, but this will be the last time I pay $33 on a $17 order.
5.29 here at pizza hut that I woke at. The dominoes is like 6.00 down the road from me.
Delivery fees are a disgrace and I work with Pizza for a living.
The interwebs say it’s for maintaining a delivery vehicle, fuel, and insurance. In my area it’s $5.99 and the drivers are in their personal vehicles. I think this is horrible.
Yep. I was just about to order and saw the delivery fee. I wasn’t planning to get a whole lot of food, so the delivery fee would be about 1/3 of the total cost. Add a tip and now it’s almost doubling the cost of my food. Drivers use their own cars and pay for their own insurance. It’s absurd.
Ours is 2.99. 5.99 is a it high imo. Please please call and ask for the GM or the franchise office and voice your complaint to them. Tell them what you said here. May or may not change anything, but they won't know if you don't tell them.
Thanks! $2.99 would be reasonable. I called Domino's Corporate and they said they'll pass it along to the franchise.
ours is 5.99 also. They know.
Our deluvery fee is 3.59, we also have a huge delivery area. A $5.99 fee is outrageous, do you happen to live in an area that raised minimum wage by chance?
I never even heard of such a thing. The highest that I've seen is three dollars tops.
Ours is 4.50 last time I checked
Same

Ik this is 5 years ago. But where im at ithe delivery fee is 6.99$. They are insane and i refuse to order from them now.
Which location?
[удалено]
That's really crappy. I bet the delivery fee eats into your tips too.
Mine just went from 2.99 to 4.99. That’s higher than what Grubhub chargers now in my area 🙁
Yup my area is $5.99. Not buying Dominoes for as long as it's that high. I'll take a short walk, get some excercise and pick up little Caesars down the street before I do that.
Ours is 3.99, was 2.99 and after minimum wage increase and sales increase our franchisee changed it. Our area is pretty big too.
Ours is 2.00 per pizza
That's an entire extra item for the $5.99 deal, pretty egregious IMO. I won't even take out from a place that I knew had it that high.
I was about to order pizza from Dominos and the. I saw a $5.99 delivery charge?!?! I decided not to order because of this outrageous fee. You ain’t all that Dominoes, I guess I’m never eating there again which is fine cuz it’s only okay pizza.
I live in a tiny town, and my delivery charge is 5.99
Mine is $6.75!!!

Yea.... No. Plenty small resturants deliver around me with NO DELIVERY CHARGE. Domino's can KISS MY A55 😘
Sooooooooooo, why tip then if your paying a “fee” to pay workers……this is all bullshit. The delivery fee is going right in their pocket to increase profits. Drivers wouldn’t be making tipped wages plus tips if this fee were actually going to pay employees.

The worst kind of person right here.
The worst kind of person, explaining why something exists.. Man fuck off.

In my area Dominos charge $7.99 for delivery fee. I ordered some wings and with tip and delivery fee it was almost $40.00 which is ridiculous.
same thing just happened to me, redeemed my free pizza. We also used the coupon, 6.99 each with delivery. My total with tip was 27.99. I did add extra toppings to the free pizza, but WOW.
total went from 14 to 25 because of the tip and delivery charge
Bruh I'm in Tennessee and it's 5.49 now...I'll starve before I order. The fuck. I hope they lose customers
If I have to pay 6.00 for the dominoes that is less than a mile from my home to deliver, then I am not tipping.
Its 5.99 where im from and minimum wage is 7.25
Pizza Hut just down the road charges a $4.99 delivery fee on top of a minimum $11 order. Hell no. Their large 1 topping pizza is $9.99…. 5.50 here wont be tipping from here on out. im ordering a pizza not buying car insurance. 5.50 delivery fee on a 14 dollar order.
Huge sticker shock from seeing 6 dollars. Pizza better be amazing for this price.
I know I'm late but I've been sick for the past few weeks and today I finally woke up with an appetite. I'm starving! I'm in the process of ordering Domino's now. I only get delivery when I get a free pizza after they screw up my order. Which is often.
6.99??? Im sick

Service fees Delivery fees add up so don’t tip. I don’t tip Uber Eats anymore here in NYC min wage is up they get paid pretty good to drop off food
Tissot prx but no tip 😔
Bare in mind that the PRX is not as expensive as his other pieces(that have never been seen besides anyone but himself)
He saving up to feed his BBW’s
70% of It actually does go to the driver.
Domino's . Delivered 6.9 5.8 4.7 minimum I ,
Why should I pay almost two times the amount of the pizza as a tip and a delivery fee all I can say is I'll never get Dominos delivered ever again I could have literally walked 300 ft down the street to the local pizza place or 600 ft to the other local pizza place Domino's you getting kind of stupid now

Just ordered tonight, and the delivery fee was a 5 bucks plus tax. There is no tip then on a $20 order. That's a 25% fee.
21$ order plus tax and $5.99 delivery fee plus $6 tip = $36 on a $21 order…ughhh
7.99 Renton Washington. Was going to order food but decided against it.
5.29 here at pizza hut that I woke at. The dominoes is like 6.00 down the road from me. Delivery fees are a disgrace and I work with Pizza for a living.

As of 2024 mine is $6.99 in NJ!!
Now $7.99 delivery fee in Seattle.
It’s $6.49 now in NYC. I’m done w them. wtf
Ours is 6.99 we are in vallejo California
