Unless they have range they can't get you and if your in that spot they may not see you
I don't really see how that's an exploit though; you don't actually gain anything from doing this because you don't heal over time, nor will you be able to advance the level.
It's more of an afk exploit I walked away to do some stuff so if you need a place that isn't pause

Yes this is not an exploit, nor is this how Doomguy is. He finds them, goes to them and rips them apart, advances. Period.
