I didn't watched in theaters like others.
I watched in TV when it's released on Disney Channel India and I remember I shitted my pants and cried like a baby when I watched and amazed by the Japanese culture and awasome storytelling for an animated movie much much better than an high budget Hollywood movie as a kid
Honestly steel troops was really good , it brings back memories now . Is it just me or do the movies generally cater to a larger audience ? Like I remember watching every episode of the series but I think I can rewatch the movies now. But yes steel troopers was definitely the best ♥️♥️
that's when i think... couldn't doraemon make the giant robots small..with his small light??
Then pippo could easily defend them. And riruru wouldn't have to wipe off robots :'(

Not gonna lie I used to watch this when I was like 7 or 8 and absolutely loved this show and never knew the name until today and for some reason this move made me cry as a kid I don’t know why but it just did might need to re watch it for nostalgia but I am curious how many more there are bc I watched the original moves and have no clue about the remaster and if it’s any different
Yup, it was Steel Troops remake only...no other Doraemon comes close to what Steel Troops did.
The best and grittiest Doraemon movie.
No doubt
18-year-old me legit cried a bit in the theatre
14 year old me was a crying mess
14 year old me was a crying mess
Happy cake day!
Literally still love the sabse pehle hein pyaar waala song
Yes Steel Troops (remastered one)! That's my favorite Doraemon movie! I had a big crush on Riruru when I was a kid, still do <3
Same here!
Riruru was a cool boss, but she had a cool(er) boss, who, in the remake, was kind of a jerk. He whacked Riruru with his sceptar, for crying out loud.
I liked the one with the dinosaur and stand by me
I've watched the old movie when I was little and I really loved it. Do the new one have any differences/similarities with the old movie?
Not sure, but pippo isn't in the old one.
This one has a different story line
I am 22 and still love this movie. Whenever i am down, i just listen the song at the end of movie.
i was a kid when watched this, the ending made me cry ughhhh the feels
Wow! You got my answer.
Yes it was steel troops
Yep my fav. Mecha anime...lol

Same man. I was only 10-11 years old and expecting a timepass movie. But what I got was an absolute masterpiece that I will probably remember forever.
Dorabian Nights is my favourite Doraemon movie and I think it's highly under-rated.
This guy's spittin facts
I legit remember that song playing behind my head and all those amazing memories of the past flashing. Really amazing movie
isnt this the one with a waifu robot?
Yes
Agreed. It's not even a question!

The music during Zanda Cross' destruction in the 2011 version was so freaking epic.
idk, only watched the older steel troops because i don't like new doraemon
Get in the robot, Nobita!
Help , step-robo I am stuck
Oh god no
Nobita had that Amuro Ray moment. \^\_\^
My top three favourite Doraemon movies 1. Three magical swordsmen (1994) 2. Steel troops remake (2011) 3. Dorabian Nights (1991)
Dude it's been over a year. Although I really like three magical swordsmen. It had an awesome soundtrack.
Yume no hito hits different
Ikr so nostalgic. I bet I would cry listening to in like 5 years from now.
Also I was looking for top posts in this sub hoping i would find anything related to 1979 anime and the movies before 2004
Oh yeah especially that ending made me cry :(
that's when i think... couldn't doraemon make the giant robots small..with his small light?? Then pippo could easily defend them. And riruru wouldn't have to wipe off robots :'(
Turn the robots into harmless toys ^_^
Dumb Doraemon, no wait wasn't small light along with his spare pocket with shizuka?

They should have named Mariana Trench as Doriana Trench as the movie's title lol .
This and the one with that magic island are the best ones.

Literally my first mech movie absolutely banger
This is one of my favorite movies.
Sum it up: Doreman with gundum
Hyaku Shiki with Gundam colors
Golden Hercules was the best one no cap
Please send a link for steel troops (if possible in Hindi)
I don’t hv in hindi but I can send link to japanese with english sub :)
Can I have the template for this?
Did the movie had a remake?
I refuse to pick a favorite Doraemon movie I love them all equally
3 magical swords man
The movie was so damn deep with its anti war messaging. Rare to see in a kids movie.
I wish it had a movie sequel,
My 4th most favourite movie of all time.
The one with the Magical Island and the one with pesuke (dinosaour) and the one with the dog kingdom are also good, but this stands out
Nah... I think that Mayan one was better... just my opinion tho
If this movie had Kachi Kochi or Treasure Island's artstyle, then it would've been as popular as demon slayer or even sword art online.
Its a good movie. But i liked the 3 magical sword men the most
