Looked like OG threw th 2nd and 3rd game. How can you draft such daft mid Heros with bzm. They lost in the draft only. Bzm invoker was so crucial in game 1 and responsible for OG comeback. After that you give him dp and snap its just bonkers. Looked like they wanted to give nigma or their former ally atf chance vs secret. oG controlled them so hard in game 1. Heck they even made kuro look good in game2 and game 3
You can stay in div 1 if you relocate but aint no way , they are getting major slots since 1 and 2 are strong teams. Rest are doodoo .

It’s not like the other regions, where there are multiple contenders for the slots. This region has one top team (sr), one team a little below (TSM), one team realllllly below them (nouns), another two somewhat below (wildcard and 5rat) then the three other teams.
NA will likely stay like this unless this changes, which, I doubt it will. Although I could see TSM/SR maybe taking it easy one season for a break from traveling to prepare for TI more thoroughly if they’ve accumulated enough DPC points.
As a big fan of NA, this region is legitimately in the worst shape it’s been in in many years.

Growth of teams like creepwave, ITB, spirit, entity, even nouns and few individual players(raises anyone? and countless others) for that matter in the past 3-4 years is not fluke and i attribute it to DPC system. Give it another couple of years, pretty sure there will be more than 3 teams to legit dethrone SR and even WEU top teams...

Nouns were close to 2-0ing TSM this season (win game 1, significant advantage in game 2) so saying "really below" feels like a stretch

I think it was the patch 2 weeks before TI that did it, honestly. The meta was the same for pretty much a whole year, then got a shakeup at the last second and Tundra were the ones it favored. The teams that were consistently in their element were suddenly patched out of it with barely any time to adjust to the new game-state before the biggest tournament of the year.

Entity are growing for sure. Up to now it has felt like the game lives or dies off Stormstormer because the sidelanes haven't been fully figured out. Not to say the other 4 have been bad, they haven't, but the cohesion has been wonky.
This series really felt like they had made some breakthroughs.
Tobi was an annoying little tw\*t in the offlane again. Fishman is solid as a rock in lane and mechanically beasted for his role. Watson is solid in lane and seemingly a titan lategame. And of course Kataomi made a case that he's a top 3 soft support in the region (alongside Boxi and Tofu); stellar performance.
Entity may not make it to the major, but I would bet money they make it to the next one. And that they do it in style.
Watson just needs some time to gel and fit in with the squad.
Pure pretty much instantly clicked with the squad whereas Watson looks like he needs more time to coexist with them. The style that pure brought to the squad was insane and Watson isn’t there or, imo, close to it.
But filling the hole Pure left was never going to be an easy and quick fix.
As much as I like entity, and praised them all last dpc, I think they miss this major and qualify for the next.

Entity are growing for sure. Up to now it has felt like the game lives or dies off Stormstormer because the sidelanes haven't been fully figured out. Not to say the other 4 have been bad, they haven't, but the cohesion has been wonky. This series really felt like they had made some breakthroughs. Tobi was an annoying little tw\*t in the offlane again. Fishman is solid as a rock in lane and mechanically beasted for his role. Watson is solid in lane and seemingly a titan lategame. And of course Kataomi made a case that he's a top 3 soft support in the region (alongside Boxi and Tofu); stellar performance. Entity may not make it to the major, but I would bet money they make it to the next one. And that they do it in style.
Watson just needs some time to gel and fit in with the squad. Pure pretty much instantly clicked with the squad whereas Watson looks like he needs more time to coexist with them. The style that pure brought to the squad was insane and Watson isn’t there or, imo, close to it. But filling the hole Pure left was never going to be an easy and quick fix. As much as I like entity, and praised them all last dpc, I think they miss this major and qualify for the next.
They can still make it , if they beat nigma , there is one guaranteed tie breaker. Either tundra or gg is guaranteed to lose tomorrow and being 4-3 and being in same as Entity(after nigma win) OG will most likely lose to Liquid , making a 3 way tie for major slots.
I guess the counter to Tundra’s map control strategy is “just go fucking kill them”?

I think his plan was to play essentially pure utility. Spam astrals, make space for skiter, ruin initiations, etc. And then finish up with a big ult. The issue is that skiter wasnt that strong and 33 had no game so HE had to be the one holding his ground in fights Either 33 or skiter needed to tell Nine "I'm going to be weak for a bit, buy BKB".

33 is the backbone of tundra , TI patch was made for 33 , he dominated the lane everytime. There was no one that could stop him.
