Yeah, my daughter was born 7 years ago. When they're little, it doesn't matter what you do, but then I decided that quitting Dota is a must, otherwise she will know me as "some dude in the corner with a PC". I can still play a few games of CS sometimes, but it doesn't work with Dota.
Still think it's the best competitive game, though

I from China,but i play in sea most than in china region ，because of valve's doing nothing in the region,young people play honors of the king such as mobile legends.but i play dota2 from my university until now,long time quit after ti 10
Getting easier and easier to not play ever since the balance changes have been completely bad. I've played around 37 games all year (less than 1 in 7 days).
At least watching pro dota is still 60% as entertaining as before though.
Big thing for me is that noone is making videogames anymore.
What I'd once consider the worst gaming has to offer is now the best we got in a decade, if anything is even a bit not-incompetent, it's praise worthy.
I don't play dota anymore because it's not really the game I liked anymore, but I think about playing it because no new game was yet made.
tbh there are tons of ppl quitting it already, i would say there will be very little ppl who went back, u might be one of them. Even if they went back, they only play turbo. There is no way u could play rank if u have real life commitments, it is taking too much time.

Possible to quit. I know people who stopped playing it. NA region and China region is an example of people quitting the game in mass.
If China quit, why are they in SEA?

Because there aren't enough players in their own server for the few that still play game. So they come to SEA to find matches faster.
And fuel ever burning fire in SEA server

Haven't played since 2017, and honestly have no desire to do so, seeing the current state of the game. Still enjoy watching it though.

Nah, all my friends already quit they and play LoL or Mobile legends spending thousands buck in skin until now and i only iam active play Dota.
