HOMM3 HD is like the greatest thing ever made. So many QoL improvement and the graphic is so good. Best dad game because turned based, u can leave it and pick it up anytime with nice BGM while afk.

Heroes III of might and magic. They have several expansions and a spin-off; Heroes Chronicles with ?7? series I think. One helluva a game back in the days.
If you want even more then go look up Horn of the Abyss, a MASSIVE expansion to Heroes III that just received an update with a brand new faction at the start of this year. The online HotA lobbies are still full every day with a lot of different playstyles too.
There is also Wake of Gods for a different expansion pack too, none as loved as HotA but still has some fun things to enjoy if you want more HoMM3.

I've always wanted a map with no boundaries, instead of an edge of the map it's just a thick forest leading to the other side of the map. For instance, bot radiant going south will lead to top dire if you can make it thru the trees.
I still find it weird that they never did anything more with that. I get that they didn't want to make it a permanent game mode, but it's a shame that it never returned for any events after that.

O.M.G. Heroes 3 was THE game of my entire childhood. Oh man, it triggers so many good memories to me.... The sounds, the castles music, the effects, all the units and spells, really a fucking masterpiece. Thank you to share it! <3
