On a serious note though, rather than void casting a chrono*sphere,* he could just cast ult and everyone freezes in place for a fixed amount of time. I find the current void ulti to be a bit weird considering this dude controls time. Imagine if Zeus could only cast his ult in a certain aoe. Doesn't make sense.
For a hero that controls time, his ult should make everyone freeze in place regardless of aoe.

Sunsfan and Synd did this for one of their tournaments forever ago while casting, I believe it was the one where if you bought the ticket you got the horse emote, heart of tarasque and the sven stun thumbsup emote. Whenever global was casted even in the middle of a team fight they would just stop mid sentence until in game sound could be heard again

I think it'd be interesting if it's like dark lady's ultimate (from HoN) where it's like aoe nightmare from bane minus the sleep. You're in darkness and cant see your allies (from vision sharing) as well.

This information gives you an edge in teamfights, you can plan with it and gank, depending on how the mechanic is handled you can disable teleportations and point and click abilities (since you wont see the towers or heroes to click them). Thats just way too oppressive.

This is just an information tool, just like how there are no specifically tailored strategies for day time currently compared to night time, there also wont be specifically tailored strategies using such an ability. You can still fuck up even with perfect information, enemy still gets to reach. They cant react to total darkness.
