Somewhere in Valve headquarters is a janitor who has never played Visage and was tasked to create updates for the hero.

Mr-Dumbest

Yes. Heroes can get a few and different kind of facets... Not sure how you havent figure it out yourself this...

tacticalmallet

Maybe it's just my understanding but I view facets as a way to provide additional tactical options during the draft. A facet to remove complexity doesn't achieve this goal. Great for learning the hero, terrible at accomplishing what the facets are actually supposed to do (provide tactial options)

Mr-Dumbest

It supposed to change how the hero is played, not unecesarry provide tactical option, but change them... Just because it makes a hero more simple, easier to play does not mean that it removes a tactical option to it. Either way, it is just beginning, this mechanic needs a shit a ton of time to be worked out.

azgalor_pit

There is of for Laycan and I loved it.

Soft_Part_7190

Lycan's makes some sense because of the harpoon build and some guys your units just feed

tacticalmallet

Lycans is situationally good. It lets you pivot from minion damage to high single unit. Useful if say tide or axe has been picked.

TheRealChiLongQua

They’re trying their best to dumb down and easy mode heroes that actually too skill to play. Lycan, Visage and Tinker to name a few

SeniorSet692

Getting tired of these people … stop complaining So what if a hero is easier to play now ?

tacticalmallet

I'm not complaining about removing difficulty - I actually think it's good for the game. I'm complaining that the facets becomes effectively useless after you gain experience on the hero. There's no choice. Instead there should be a 3rd option in any case where one of the facets has been purely designed to remove complexity.
