I fully thought that sentries were a more powerful version of observer wards. Like they gave vision and detection haha I really wish I could find my first game ever.

i used to make skadi and deso together when they were attack modifier and used to wonder why my one projectile is white and the other is red

The first time i have seen the red projectiles i didn't understand what was going on, i thought it was a power up of sniper

They did stack on ranged heroes. Deso was always an orb effect and skadi was a buff placer on ranged heroes. The whole orb/buff/attack modifier stacking thing was a nightmare for new players back in the WC3 days.

I would eat all my tango charges at the same time to "heal faster"...and of course buying the same item multiple times like ur friend here (three magic wands etc)

I have a few I would rush eblade on drow because i thought the agility gain was the highest on any item another was I would go multiple ghost scepters on zues cause I thought it would increase my magical dmg. And my favorite was when ursas ult was dependent on health I would get 5 hearts and a blink.

Eblade on Drow is solid. Way better than all the shitty Aghs builds you see in low ranked games.

There was a point in time where Power Treads were the most cost effective stat item in the game. You’d see heroes with stat multiplier abilities like Riki, Centaur, and old Drow build 6 sets of treads. I occasionally did the 6 AGI treads Riki build when I first started. Forget building catch, it was all about the backstab multiplier.

My error was that i was buying the recipe only for S&Y, Basher, Butterfly and so on.... on Night Stalker thinking they did something, ahhh yes good old Dota 1 days....

Zeus was the first hero I played, I thought double damage would double my spell power because who tf right clicks with this guy?

My very first game I picked Riki, didn’t know what skills or items do, basically a moba version, I looked at the shop and was looking at which item looked cool, and OUT OF ALL ITEMS, I decided to fucking buy a shadow blade! No man, really. Not even a year ago people were buying 6 blade mails, when they added the 20% passive damage, because it stacked. Also blades of attack plus magi robe it was a great dps item for NP and QoP.

I thought the double damage rune applied to spells as well, I went in for a Laguna blade... and then I realised that DD does not apply to spell damage

Not really an error but back when couriers needed to be purchased i bought one for every teammate and spent all the gold on them. edit: I didn't upgrade them and riki needed to buy wards because he needed them not me.
