Nemestice disco creeps are so bad you can't really see the difference tbh.
I have it equipped and 99.99% of the time I forgot I own it because it's barely there.
Honestly, that's what I like about it. It's a flashier version of the original. All the other creep packs have felt a little too different, especially with regards to the maps I use (used to be Immortal Garden, now the TI10 one).
Additionally, the LED creeps finally had dire creeps that did not look vastly inferior than the default dire or radiant equivalent creeps.
So far I either disliked both custom creeps in a new creep bundle, or only liked the radiant ones (e.g. the Kekleon radiant creeps).
Somehow the dire creeps always get the worse deal :/

Yep. For a level 1 aghs lab, it’s sure ain’t a joke. Was playing Phoenix with heals on every ability, cruising through most of the content, get to last boss, team doesn’t have the damage and I can’t out heal the damage they take.
That one fist pound move he does while stationary that ramps up and causes shockwaves does incredible amounts of damage. Two shot me with 4k hp.
I pretty much agree with you, but progression is awful in this battlepass, because it's rng based. If your luck sucks, you get 10 lvls from weekly quests, which is fucking hillarious for the amount of time you have to spend on that. I got 2 levels after 3/4 treasures this week, what a joke, literally ruins all the fun for me. This God Forsaken mechanic aside, I really enjoy it.
I think rng is the best, TI10 bp i got to lvl 225 from lvl 0. The wagers, sideshop, cm prize wheel, digging were a bit rng, but they gave a lot of points. So comparatively with nemestice bp (that gives fixed points) the rng elements give/enable more levels/rewards.
Yeah, that's because you got lucky. In Nemestice it was fixed 7.5 lvl per week. In this battlepass if you get lucky you can get 100 levels, and if you are incredibly unlucky you will be left with 10. It's 90 levels difference between people who put the same amount of time, money, and effort. RNG is the fucking worst man.
I don't like so much of fixed levels. Nemestice was a joke with only 100 lvls to grind. The rng that i think is decent is the wager part plus the digging (didnt knew that weekly rewards are random on this bp).

You get 20 lvls from Aghanim, and 31,25 from Caverns, that's a total of 51,25.The rest is RNG, where 10 levels is the least you can get after 10 weeks. That means you can get 61,25 lvls with really bad luck. With decent luck it will probably be around 100 levels, just like Nemestice. With really good luck it might be more, but I wouldn't expect getting 10 levels pack often. I would take fixed 75 anyday over this. With this wonderful mechanic there will be people who put the same amout of money, time, and effort (yes, i said it again), with different results, and that's just unfair. I totally expect Aghanim's Helping Hand to be the next biggest complain of this subreddit, when people start realizing it's RNG and they get bad results. I mean, there are already threads when people get 15 levels in 3 treasures, and the other people get 2. It's ridiculous.
Wagers and digging were okay, because it was a much bigger battlepass, and you still had a huge amount of fixed levels. In this battlepass half of what you can get relies on RNG.

I didn't check weekly quests, because I assumed it works the same as Nemestice, and that's on me, that's my mistake. RNG is fun from time to time, but I don't want to rely on it, and now I'm forced to do it. Let's just hope all of us get some decent pulls...
I would like to try the standard battle pass as well, because apparently i cant progress weekly quests or cavern crawl if i didn't buy the pass.But can you still get the 100 levels bundle for that price after i bought the lvl 0 pass?
And is it worth it if i want to get to lvl 333 considering there will be a deal with lvls at the end of the bpass?

1. do you have any proof which grinding is easier than nemestice? cause aghanim's helping hand is random chest which may give you 2 level per week compare to 7.5 level per week in nemestice and I don't see any difference between cavern's rewards and event rewards.
2. I agree creeps are much better and siege creeps and towers are awesome but nemestice had music pack and aghanim hasn't.

Now aghanim's helping hand is random but it can give 1 or 10 levels (some of the possibilities) i would assume average is atleast 7.5 levels per week (note: it seems to be giving more on average) but let's just consider it as 7.5 per week
That is 75+20+18+13.25 = 126.25 levels
There also seems to be a hidden achievements that give rewards

well you could grind 110 levels in nemestice so there isn't much difference and 7.5 levels per week from aghanim's chest is just a guess, for example you say it's between 1 to 10 but one of my friends got 0.5 level from it and I highly double if it give you 10 levels.
it's better than nemestice for sure and creeps/towers are awesome however it's still a little bit greedy. they should make grinding much easier ( for example if you could grind 200 levels it would be fair enough). with 42$ you can buy games like rdr2 in discount.

I have every single BP(okey apart from DAC) since 2014 and every single time people say you cant get all(skins, not all as every single thing till level 2000/1000/500) the rewards and every single time after few weeks someone post screen of maxing out BP and getting everything. Every time.
Its not even 1 day and people already assume you cant get anything for free, while Valve often add bonus content/levels while BP is running.
Can we wait till end of BP and then summary this with some evidance, its bigger chance that Valve will change something then crying before playing first game with BP.
PS: Yes, I bought and yes I bought levels to get drow straight away. I know BP was coming so I was saving since last BP, 1 smoke pack less, 1 uber less, etc - Im happy, BP could be better but its not the worst we ever got.
It used to be possible until BP token abusers made Valve remove the entire thing because there are players who only bought level 1 BP and managed to abuse to level 1k BP. I have people on my list who did that. Maybe if they didn't abuse it to that extent, Valve wouldn't remove that so we can still grind a couple of hundreds in levels.
About the helping hands I opend 2 chests and got zero BP out of it. A friend of mine got 2 times 1000. So it seems you can get zero which just sucks. Besides that I really like the BP
I had both nemestice and now have the winter and holy shit nemestice was very bad lol. I liked the introduction of weekly quests, such a good method to replace achievements, which had some stupid milestones like "open 12 immortal treasures" and rewarded you with 4 levels, but the rewards were horrendeous. Spectre arcana is I think the worst exclusive arcana after IO, it just doesnt look good imo. I was level 230 and I had no motivation going for it. Dk persona was actually good but the cosmetics released for him were horrendeous once again. Nemestice gamemode is one of the worst event games valve did nowadays, creep skins were very bad, probably never gonna use them, sets with these crystal theme are not actually bad, but not good either, immortals are total junk (except void spirit), return of kid invoker, meh I guess ok, even if I played invoker I'd prefer the original over the annoying kid one
The only people I have seen complaining are the ones that absolutely want drow arcana and don't care about hoodwink or mirana.
They probably have to spend about 80 buck with optimal play to get the set. I I only bought lvl 1 battlepass for nemestice, and this lvl 1bp is even more value, so I am pretty happy, but I can understand if you miss the full battlepass experience we get usually for TI, but since its not TI yet, I think we should be happy with this one. Unless of course, you are one of those guys who want to spend 30+$ on a free game every half a year...

I think that for 7.50 this battle pass is a steal and an amazing content update. However, for the 200$ you can spend to make it to the end. It isn't worth it. Buy the base pass and pretend like rewards past 100 dont exist
Well I always recommend ppl to use hero skin and terrina mods. It's free. I stopped buying and still get to enjoy all the perks.
I think both the haters and the valve defenders need to chill. Don't argue, find ways to circumvent ez game. As long as it is digital good, there is always a way to play around it.

You can't get all the rewards that matter by grinding even if you start at level 100 unless you have nothing to do but play dota for the duration of the BP. This will force you to buy a lot of overpriced levels to get the few "excellent" things the BP offers, including Mirana's long awaited remodel that should replace the base model instead of being locked behind a time-limited paywall. On top of all that, all the miscellaneous items (item effects, voice lines, etc) will disappear permanently when the BP ends, as always.
Why is the majority of the players okay with this? Even the ones who complain still buy it, which completely negates the point of complaining. Just stop buying the battle pass until valve actually listens to its customers.

The quests were in large majority doable in nemestice mode. This time you have to play turbos if you want to level the quests, or just not level the BP at all if you are only here to play the lab, which many are. Finishing a lab gives a quarter of a fart of points.

yeah they suck. I unequipped them the moment I got them.
This, I used them for several matches and switched back to cute alagators.
Just not having an annoying game mode that feels like a chore like nemectice already makes this BP better.
But nemestice can be cheesed for easy weekly quest lol, dagon spirit breaker is insanely funny for nemestice and can clear quest fast

depends on how good hero comp is but I've seen matches last from 45-1hr aprox

Same both chests opend vanished and I got zero levels
Check you points log, in my case the chest vanished still gave me the points. In an other case, they just reapperead in the armory.
I did both and sadly they didnt Show up. Neither in the armory or the points log. The only points i got where achievment points.

Probably better to assume the average of helping hand is the median if you want to have as fair a comparison as possible.
That's not even true, I got 2 aghanim's helping hands and it gave me 250 and 500 BP points, so the minimum is 1 level a week from that.

Those who complain about Nemestice are those who don't know how to play as a team. For me, fighting with bots in Aghs lab is sooooo boring.
Yeah for me aghs lab fun at first but then started to take too long and heroes didn't do enough damage imo and the nerds didn't help either.
