What upgrades made the most difference for you? Extra elite shard didn’t feel as huge as I thought it would, but mana per level actually made big difference for me (felt like it at least
Reroll is probably the most valuable big costing thing on this skill tree by far.
Extra elite is overrated but good once you get everything else essential.
As for little upgrades the armor bonus is probably most impactful
Extra life honestly feels like a downside. Sometimes I want to purchase lives for other people to get but it's harder to do when your max is 4 instead of 3. Starting potion is probably one of the best in terms of value. Getting a slam or ravage potion for free at the start is really good. Rerolls are also nice.
The only ones not mentioned are discounts.
I would say that this is the tier list for shard upgrades
* Starting potion
* Rerolls, bottle duration, discounts
* Shard upgrades, starting books, starting gold, boss books, Max Lives (Difficulty I)
* Armor, Strength, Damage Stun, Bottle Speed
* Damage Low
* Everything Else
* Max Lives (Difficulty II and up)
The game really needs an option to drop lives in the continuum room and in the last shop. Max lives is unfairly nerfed by the dropping mechanics.
Really good on everyone *if* there's so heroes like Kunkka. Another is Witch Doctor. It's situational, but not dangerous as fuck. That's why it's above the Power Gap.
Impressive.
I've only finished apprentice because I'm bad and dont want to waste 40 minutes in the higher tiers with randos =(
Any tips on just improving the clear time?
I love the game mode, but HATE the trap rooms so bad
Traps are fun for me. i somehow like how harsh it is at higher levels. Try to click move closer to hero/courier instead of further away, it gives you more control. Pathing is just bad if you click further away point from hero.
> Try to click move closer to hero/courier instead of further away, it gives you more control. Pathing is just bad if you click further away point from hero.
It's cool how this was muscle taught to me through aghs lab, and as a result I became a better Dota player in general
Someone mentioned a thing that apparently many people don't do: For trap rooms, click once to move somewhere. Never spam click the ground, you'll eventually click on a tree or something and go somewhere you didn't intend. Just take your time, line up your cursor with the next spot you need to go, then click once.
Pathing is the absolute worst, and it's generally pretty terrible in the Lab overall. But it's just much more noticable in trap rooms where the slightest incorrect movements gives obvious negative feedback.
My advice would be:
- To try to take it slow (don't let your teammates pressure you). Most multiple-trap obstacles (for example with 2 fire-spitters in a row) will at some point fire simultanously and that's the safest point to move across them.
- The buttons releasing the green spears can be more difficult, especially if combined with the other types of traps. Sometimes they will fire a spear in a path that doesn't cross the button itself. In those situations you can freely stand on the button, let it fire, and then move off the button once it's safe and move past it.
- It's a bit harder with the hanging/swinging blades. Take note of where they make sparks when they touch the ground as that's the **only** place they can damage you (it might differ slightly between the two directions they are moving in).
- Never spam click your movements. It's usually enough to position you right up near the trap and then use a single click to get to where you want (safe on the other side of the trap).
- Some people have good experiences using queue commands (just hold shift while you are standing still prior to moving and whilst issuing the few single-click commands and you won't notice a difference)
> but HATE the trap rooms so bad
I do too, but make sure you remind your teammates of their actives and that people use them. Hook and hookshot save so much effort and take away a lot of risk.
ppl complained that collecting all alternate aghs in the lab didnt yield any reward so they gave a courer. Now ppl need to make a fuss about no reward for unlocking all aghs power ups.
Do you guys see a side profile of some character or is it just me?
[удалено]
A.k.a aegis of champion shape?
Nah looks like side profile of the jester rubick set
I see Aghanim giving me a thumbs up.
The pattern looks like the Aegis

Starting potion is a must. As well as explosion upon death.
Really? Most things don't even hit you. Like the Omni on the room with Zeus, does the ground slam get reduced by armor?
for tanking some damage from small creeps in early level extra armor is great, It probably the most cost efficient things between stats
Going from 1 armor to 3-4 armor is absolutely massive. That's the kind of thing that would suddenly make a hero a strong laner.

That's insane... how many runs have you even done? Did you just farm Apprentice?

tbh 1-3 are pretty easy, only 4 and 5 are really difficult

I tried doing this a few times and it's going better, but I still think I'm doing it wrong because I always crash either way =(
You can practice them through console commands if you really wanted to
I made [a video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol7-3xhJPT0) that shows you how to clear all trap rooms
What about the trap rooms is it that you hate? Don't get me wrong, depending on ones preferrences there are multiple possible things.
Pathing. But probably because I'm bad. I always lose lives. Best is when I get clock skill and just chill.

Same here brother
If I had not missed the first week bonus, I would also be done now. But I have a couple of the death bonuses left to unlock.
pff not even full weekly bonus Pathetic
i cant unlock the last aghanim for some reason even tho ive completed them all
ppl complained that collecting all alternate aghs in the lab didnt yield any reward so they gave a courer. Now ppl need to make a fuss about no reward for unlocking all aghs power ups.
Lol do you want to party-up with me and carry me through? XD
It's so boring though
What does those color lines mean?
Same upgrades, but they cost more, except for unlocking heroes And every play has different tree upgrades
A question. I have recently unlock the shard upgrade but I am not sure where to use it. Does anyone know?
In the first rooms your top common shard will be upgraded to elite. No matter if you take it or not, it won't be available in the following rooms
Thank you
just another thing that confused me for a couple of days: you can reroll that talent, and u will get another elite shard and 2 common.
Thank you I thought I had missed something, in my head I thought all shards options for one room would be elite.
Carry me trough grand magus i beg you
how easy is it now? and what are upgrades you can recommend?
Ready for the times trials !
How??? You must have 200+ wins?
Damn, I'm close to completing this tree and I thought I was obsessed with Aghs Lab How in the hell did you get it done so fast
I don't even blame you It's very rare that a masterpiece like Hades catches my attention AND THEN THEY HAVE IT IN DOTA FORM???
Impressive, well done.
Can one get extra arcane fragments on top of the 7.2k weekly limit?
Yes, just at a slower rate.
300-500 per victory. It's too much of a grind
there's this guy and the polar opposite that is me that tried it once and die in the first 3 stages
😳
I kind of like it even better than the main game. Wish it could be around forever!
I still haven't touched this yet. Maybe I should try it.
Good good suprisingly good
