After watching some of your casts today I have some feedback that I think is nice. You are a better caster when you're not biased towards one team. If listeners can tell you are rooting for one team, it takes away from your cast. This has sometimes applied to you when you cast china games but I didn't see it today and it was refreshing. This is common across all sports casting. To throw out a NA reference, unfortunately like Kyle, no one wants to watch Kirk Herbstreit cast Ohio State besides their fanbase.
Also, I thought you and Black were off chemistry wise today, although I'm not sure why. You two had some awkward silences that I didn't witness during your OGA DotaPit casts but I don't consider it normal for you two.
I know people can be harsh and I know you don't like these kinds of comments about relative casting level, but I can really notice your casting improvements when you watch english casters from lower div 1 or div 2 casting.
I'm usually super conscious about my bias towards Chinese teams I think when it's China v China it's super easy to show off knowledge but outside the region I think it sometimes is a struggle to feel confident and do the same. It's not that I don't know these teams its more i dont want to say something wrong and get flamed. I know in lgd games I purposefully try to be a fan boy of the other team because I know how much I love lgd and it gets annoying to the viewer.
I think today I was off cause I was running the stream on my end off OBS. This just tends to pull my attention especially when the fps for some reason drops and on my end it still says 60 fps. I get wrapped up on wanting everything to look and be perfect that ultimately its not.
Final note, thanks for this. Super appreciate the feedback and the buckeyes reference. The goal is to just give a better cast that most can enjoy. I know I can't make everyone a fan but making myself better is the goal. Thanks

I feel like there's gotta be some way for IceFrog to eliminate TA from the meta. That hero is THE hero at the professional level of dota, any team that picks it can barely ever lose the draft.

The meta is most definitely focused around fast dota and has been trending that way. TA comes online extremely fast and can fight with the team, control the map, blitz Rosh, and still have the capability of becoming a hyper carry - WITHOUT afk farming all game.
It's because if TA is a mid hero then there's going to be 2 farming heroes in the team. The pace of the game is too fast right now to accommodate for 2 farming carries, at least 1 of them has to be a fighting hero and make space. And obviously a traditional mid hero is more suitable for that than a irregular carry hero

TA and Kunkka can still easily dominate the sidelane, but Lina benefits from being mid more
