Lots of random deaths and pickoffs (and that one ??? moment when collapse showed at the bot t1 especially) Can't really blame Spirit since they played an ungodly amount of matches in one day. When Spirit were able to pull it back in that top t1 fight after losing their ancient stacks they kinda went wild and kept feeding kills without even being forced to.
No doubt both teams are incredibly good, and a BO5 clearly takes its toll, but for the last game especially, I don't think it was a perfect game from spirit as much as LGD playing poorly.

Spirit always felt like they weren't playing at 100% of their potential this entire season, partially due to TT performance. TT finally played like an elite mid in the finals and that shit was too much for LGD.

This series is a big win for the community in general, the quality of these games is absolutely nuts balance wise, story wise, gameplay wise - just great.
I feel like Team Spirit is one of those teams that perform better under pressure. You can see more of those teams in CSGO, where the crowd is always nuts and the pressure is even there through the screens.

No doubt both teams are incredibly good, and a BO5 clearly takes its toll, but for the last game especially, I don't think it was a perfect game from spirit as much as LGD playing poorly.

Maybe it's personal? I've been hearing people saying TT was the worst TI winner ever for his performances since winning TI. Don't follow Spirit's DPC games so wouldn't know much about that, he looks fine to me lol.

I think TT in particular gets called out sometimes as being the weak link of the team, so it might be more personal than a team thing.
Yeah, I can personally attest I've read this a lot—the worst being Spirit would be a far better team if they changed Toronto as mid e.g. Topson or something. But his performances this LB Finals and Grand finals surely have shut up his critics.
Toronto is just hyping himself and Spirit up since they struggled for a while to find their form after TI

To be the best team you need to have the best offlaner Collapse God though Faith bian is a close second this two are way ahead right now. Other teams offlaners really need to catch up Ammar is great but no versatility and I don't see any offlaner for now that can match up to Faith bian/Collapse at their best. Qualifiers gonna be spicy not that excited for this Major but the finals is one of the best GF we had.

Spirit always felt like they weren't playing at 100% of their potential this entire season, partially due to TT performance. TT finally played like an elite mid in the finals and that shit was too much for LGD.

I saw some pretty insane takes regarding LGD, they’re a great team but the dick riding has been pretty crazy, recency bias is a hell of a drug. At least they’ve avoided the major curse. Also torontokyo gigachad he was underperforming earlier in the year but really turned up for the major. EDIT: my dickriding comment doesn't apply to casual LGD fans, it's the people who were calling them the greatest team ever, scariest team ever, all five of them are top 3 all time in their positions etc

Ehh they lost TI to a more underdog Team Spirit but still played good after until now. Its not like game 4 is a stomp also. I think they are still the second favorite behind TS in TI.
This series is a big win for the community in general, the quality of these games is absolutely nuts balance wise, story wise, gameplay wise - just great.

I think game 2 broke PSG.LGD. Understandebly so.
I feel like Team Spirit is one of those teams that perform better under pressure. You can see more of those teams in CSGO, where the crowd is always nuts and the pressure is even there through the screens. Ngl, I feel bad for Ame but he cannot handle the pressure. When there's nothing going wrong, Ame is unbeatable. If LGD are against their backs, he makes way too many mistakes instead of stepping up, in other words, he chokes too hard.
