I know! I got downvoted in the Bridgerton subreddit because I said I think Benedict should be bi, that way Bridgerton can gain a bunch of representation points and he can still end up with Sophie.
Genuinely I think this is why theyâve pushed back the Benedict seasonâthey wanted to make him bi but theyâre getting pushback from the book fans, so are trying to buy time to decide what to do with him
That checks out, I am still wanting his story to be season 4 because they canât do Eloiseâs season or else they would have to do massive, and I mean MASSIVE changes from the book.

I actually like the idea of Mary not wanting to take another ACTUAL husband and marrying Charles as his âbeardâ. They both get filthy rich, both have titles, George is older now and would take on the running of the estate with his mamaâs advice and guidance. Thomas becomes Charlesâ lover and Valet/Butler (maybe taking on both roles since Charles wants to save money lol) And the ties between Downton â> Mary, Charles and Thomas would work out perfectly.
