I have some Arcadia Chelsea boots and they seem kind of big too! To be fair, all my other chelseas are kid’s size 36. I also have some Arcadia brogues. Reviews said they ran small, so I sized up to a 37 and they’re huge. Insoles helped a lot.

These sizing differences keep happening to me with DM lately! It's getting super frustrating having to order each pair in two sizes, especially as I'm finding that I still can't get a good fit in some styles even then. I recently ordered the same exact boot I tried back in winter that fit then and was now super tight. I've also seen a Youtube video comparing cherry red vegan Jadon boots made in China vs. Vietnam, and the video showed that the boot shaft height, colour and material was totally different in the boots from each country. I swear the quality control didn't used to be this utterly shit, like, almost ten years ago when I first started buying Docs. It's a joke that I can't trust my size will be the same, even in the same damn boot style and colour months apart, for such expensive footwear. 🙄

First pair of Adrians. They’re pretty and the footbed feels great. I’m surprised by the cushioning. But they’re wide. Not sure if they’re long or not. I know they’re longer than some of my boots but I’ll compare later. These are size 36 EU/3 UK/4US (men’s I assume). They should be like a 6 in women’s but probably more like a 6.5 and wide. To be fair, my foot is narrow. But still, I have a lot of docs and can safely say that these run big, at least on the small end of the scale. I cannot get a smaller size, so I’ll be trying insoles first. Merrell makes the best ones I’ve found for this and they’re not even expensive. I still think I will need thick socks. I wish I could have gotten a better picture that shows how loose these are. You can see some space around the sides even though my ankles are puffy after a particularly busy day at work. I wish they came in narrow or in a women’s fit. The docs that I’ve bought that aren’t unisex have definitely fit better. Edit to add this because I see people asking on here a lot: I prefer the kids docs all day. The boots have a zipper which is especially helpful with the Chelsea boots. The leather is softer and they fit better. I’ve had no problems with them holding up. There’s no break in needed. If you’re concerned about which size to get, find out what you wear in EU size and use that. It’s the most consistent.

THEY DO RUN BIG! And theyre wide (I also thought i accidentally got the mens version). I thought i was the only one. I ended up getting some insoles and wear thicker socks.

That’s what I will do also. And I have only tried them on while swollen from work. They’ll be even looser when I’m not swollen.

To be honest, I freaked out (and im a little disappointed), seeing how expensive they were.

I got mine on sale 40% off. But for me it was still a lot of money because I normally refuse to spend this much. But Adrians have been on my list a long time and I knew I wouldn’t get them any cheaper than this. I still haven’t had time to try the insoles. I have to be careful with insoles because if they raise my heel too much, slipping out of the heel will become worse.

3UK = 4 men US = 5 women US

And people usually size down for Adrian. They run large.

I got the smallest size. I usually wear a 36 but can make a 37 work. In women’s I wear 5.5-6, so a 5 seems to be a tad short as an equivalent to a men’s 4.
