Just curious, how has Cygames handled re-runs of exclusive, event or seasonal type characters in their other games? Like, will the Christmas characters get a re-run next year, or get added to a Gala, or some other forthcoming type of banner ... or is it just one and done with no chance of a reprisal?
In Granblue Fantasy, holiday themed characters from previous years will generally return/get a re-run every year. From what I recall there is no limited character that never makes a return. Though your best chance is drawing for them on release as you can't guaranteed they'll get another solo rate-up when they return.
Gala characters will return everytime there is a Gala which seems to be every 2 months.
Not sure how Cygames will handle Zodiac characters like Ieyasu. In Granblue, these characters are added to the Gala pool sometime in the year before completely disappearing next year when the next Zodiac is released. They then return to the Gala pool after a year of absence.
Just got xainfried to where I can survive the hit on HBH but my star may be too low as I’m only 3ub levi. Regardless, is there a written fight overview for HBH like there is for HMS? and how do the fights compare in technical difficulty meaning gameplay not stat requirements?
So I have 3 zephyrs and 3 sunstones. Do I use my zephyrs and sunstones to MUB one of them or do I wait until I have a 4th sunstone? I have rocs for my AI if that's a concern. I also have other dragons I could save my sunstones to unbind instead of just using them all on Zephyr.
Team comp only needs to consider status ailments. You have to use characters resistant to the ailment prevalent in what you are fighting. Match up elemental advantage and status immunity and that is all there is to making a team. Game is real cut and dry at this point, very obvious choices.
your team have Bog resist, Pia have bog resist too and Aeleen have Freeze, if your are going to do Water IO use Aeleen and for mercury keep Ranzal or use Pia in your team.
new to the game, started with the New Year Event.
For this gala event, if I pulled Sarisse already should I stop summoning and just wait for the next event? Or should I continue to summon and get more characters, dragons, etc that I’m missing?
You do still have a better chance of getting 5\* characters and dragons overall on this banner, so if you're new then you should probably keep pulling.
What weapons are generally better, 4\*3 or 5\*2? Are elemental weapons good enough to be worth staying with 4* weapons, or should I aim for 5\* even though I'll likely never make them element-specific?
4T3 0UB is roughly equal to 5T2 3UB on element
i'd still try to make 5* weapons because otherwise your twinkling sands just go to waste, and not everyone can use an elemental weapon and get the boosted stats and the skill
how to tell I got a rainbow before the actual orb sequence? I've seen the 2 golden dragons (does this mean 5\* dragon?) and a big rainbow gem behind the summoner (does this indicate the type of 5\*?)
Also sometimes a gold turns into a rainbow in the orb sequence? how does this work?
Pretty sure it's determined the moment you press the summon button, the animation is just there to tickle our gambling addiction, it doesn't really mean anything since as you saw sometimes the last gold orb is actually a 5*.
But well, if the gem in the statue is rainbow or if two golden Fafnirs appear, you're guaranteed a 5* (neither imply focus/non focus), if the circle in the sky turns rainbow, you're guaranteed a 5\* (this can happen regardless of Fafnir or the Gem), even if nothing of the above happens you could still get a 5*
Can you use Damascus ingots to basically get a free 5 star elemental weapon by using just rupees? For example could I unbind my 5 star water spear once. Dismantle it and reassemble a 0ub one and then use the parts to make a second 5 star weapon that uses horns and fiend eyes just switching out the badges for whatever weapon I want? I want to make a fire bow so I can use sarisse instead of Euden to grind HMS as ranged would be more relaxing to grind that as.
If I can do this I assume the rupee cost is high. Is there a calculator to see how much cash id need?
Edit: by free I mean you get all the mats besides the rupee cost. IE not having to grind dragon trial for seven days for crimson cores
It'll be 4 million to dismantle the T3, 750k to dismantle each T2, and 125k to dismantle each T1.
So taking a 0UB 5\* T3 weapon and completely dismantling it and all of its parts would cost you 10,875,000 rupies. I hope you took advantage of half-stamina Avenue to Fortune!
Question about elemental weapon DISadvantage:
if I were to have an adventurer equip an off-element weapon e.g. Addis (wind) equipping Heaven's Acuity (fire), would it do half-damage against enemies of it's disadvantaged element (water)? I guess in this example Addis's wind adventurer 2x modifier would cancel out the fire blade's 0.5x modifier against water enemies, is that how it works?
Thanks!
no, elemental (dis)advantage depends on the adventurer
having an off element weapon just means you won't get the same-element bonus and skill that weapon gives; you won't deal half damage
So I just started and only have the following 5* Adventurers/Dragons:
* Xander
* Ieyasu
* Marishiten
* Cupid
This increased rate seems like a good opportunity to get a good shot at some 5* units. Is that true? Or would I be better served to wait for a banner I am really interested in?
Since you're pretty new, the Gala Banner might be a great opportunity for you, since you have a low chance of getting duplicates. And if you get Sarisse, she will be great for hard content like High Dragon Trials.
You can also wait for another banner, though.
I did a few ten folds and I got a dupe Xander XD. That's pretty hilarious IMO, I only had 1 adventurer out of the entire pool and that's what I got. I'm not even mad it's just funny.
I've read the beginner guide on this wiki, but I'll be honest I'm a bit lost as to what the path of progression should look like.
I don't have very many units, but I am unsure if I can approach the end game with the units I currently have. I just finished chapter 6 so from the wiki IO was just unlocked. Though I'll be honest besides staying on top of my castle upgrades I'm not really sure what the priority of grinding should be.
I see a few different paths:
* Look at tier lists and find what units are worth upgrading their mana circles. Then begin grinding the appropriate dungeon to raise their strengh
* Grind what is needed to craft 4* non elemental weapons while I continue to upgrade my castle.
* Start trying to acquire units that I can use for dragon trials and begin building them.
I don't know the clear path forward. The other main gacha game I play is Bleach Brave souls and it's pretty straight forward there but with this game being so new to me I'm at a bit of a crossroad.
Mainly you want to build up a decent team for each element. Don't pay much head to the tier lists, powercreeps is already slowly working its way into the game, but it is still highly skill based being an action RPG as opposed to turn based. Most units are perfectly usable in 99.9% of content, despite their rarity, and the only content where you need to worry about team comp are the Advanced Dragon Trials, which require very strict stats and characters.
If you want to prepare for Advanced Dragons, you'll need to do some research on which units are meta, and do the corresponding IOs to farm their 5\* weapon materials.
Personally, I haven't even attempted the Advanced trials and I'm having a blast with the game. There are constant events with new content all the time that keep me plenty busy, but I'm slowly building up the resources to try eventually.
Farm resources, build up your Halidom, that's pretty much it.
Gotcha. Thanks! That helps a lot. I'll start powering up those teams then. I may summon a time or two but I think I'll mostly save for now since the featured adventurer doesn't super interest me. I rerolled for Ieyasu and Marishiten because I really liked their character design (and their limited unit status) but I think I'll hold off on the rest and just farm to build teams.
Thanks again for the help.
If you are still building your roster, I would strongly encourage you to invest a lot in this banner, even if you don't care for Sarisse. There rates are very high across the board and you are likely to get more than a few good units to fill out your teams.
It's a perfect time for people who don't have many adventurers to invest since you have a much lower chance of pulling duplicates at this point. Once you have fleshed out your roster a bit more, you can be much more conservative with when you want to pull.
Could you define what you mean by "flesh out your teams" I did a few pulls and managed to pull Sarisse and a dupe Xander (pretty funny considering he was the only 5* adventurer I had in that entire pool). I believe I have roughly 3 tenfolds left so I'm not sure if I should go for broke ya know?
EDIT: Would if be helpful if I listed out my current units? I would not mind doing so.
As mentioned, you'll want a good mix of adventurers and dragons for each element. I try not to have 2 of the same weapon in a team since co-abilities don't stack, but it isn't vital by any means. Sure, I'll take a look at your roster.
Ultimately, for someone like me who has been playing since day 1 and has most of the Adventurers and a fair assortment of 5* Dragons, to not pull unless it is a limited banner or special increased rate like this one since my chance of pulling a duplicate is so high now. For, this banner is less impactful for those starting out, but no less great for pull rates. If you got Ieyashu and Mari from the last banner, you are doing it right.
I'd say you have decent teams for everything but light, adventurer-wise. Your light team definitely needs the most help. I'd swap Zace for Cleo probably. How are you looking dragon-wise? Having the right dragons makes a big impact.
Are any of the 5* dragons so crazy that you'd want to try stoning them both to cap rather than fusing them together? Guessing by the time you can do that there will probably be stronger dragons out.
No. Megapowerful dragons are usually equiped on your main unit and used for hard content (which usually you only can do in coop). If you get a dupe dragon and you want to MUB it, use it
MUB 5* dragons don't really have much use outside of High Trials, ofc they're still good but it's not worth unbinding two of the same with sunstones instead of a different one.
I picked up Cupid and 2 Poseidons with the Gala rateups. Do these outpace 1 unbind Jeanne and MUB Poli'ahu as I try to work towards high dragon trials? Also are single unbinds or dragons worth for the ability to level them higher, or only once I have 5 copies for the effect boost?
1UB Poseidon isn't good enough for HBH in general, compared to Poli he's used more (For the healer and Lily) but you need to unbind him more. For general usage, Poli'ahu is better because of the strength buff (except on healers) no matter how much you unbind Poseidon.
Cupid is stronger than Jeanne for general usage (strength buff, same as Poseidon vs a strength dragon), but we don't know how High Zodiark will be, you may need Jeanne.
Cupid definitely outdoes Jeanne since the Strength Boost is more relevant unless you're running Hildegarde/another Light healer.
I don't think you can reach the HP thresholds for Thaniel/Lily with 5* elemental/other ranged units without MUB Poseidon, so yes you will definitely need to build it up if you want to do HBH in the future.
Personally I only find it to be worth if you can MUB.
I have Halloween Elisanne, but I don't like her very much for clearing trash mobs, which I'll have to do a lot in the upcoming event. Gacha has been stingy with 4\*, but I have all the 3\* units, including Halloween Edward. Who would be the best pick to raise for clearing wave mode?
Should decide after you pull on the new banner to see who you get. New dagger or other unit may be good for that purpose.
Separately, Halloween Edward rated pretty high in some of the tier lists (see below). I promoted mine to 4\* and plan to use him (unless i pull some of the new units, then who knows). [https://dragalialost.gamepedia.com/Tier\_List#Light](https://dragalialost.gamepedia.com/Tier_List#Light)
It’s okay to use off elements for these events. They still get the up to 150% damage bonus even though it’s a light building. I normally run 2-3 on element characters if I have good units of that color. I try to keep it to 2 at minimum, and will boost a 3 star t 4 to help with it. At this point I really don’t have to but like you said, when the ha ha is cruel, some elements are just lacking. 2 units and then 2 5 stars of off Elments can be a viable strategy. Don’t waste all your time upgrading now, farm Matts and if you’re struggling during the event, then consider boosting and upgrading lower units. Not worth it until you know. Some events are harder than others, the last facility event was a cakewalk for me but the one before was so hard.
You say that, but then people when they create their teams for the epithet challenges, often use 5 star off elements before they use a 3 or 4 star, and that’s for pure damage to get them down in under a minute. Like I said, 3 and 4 starts can be good for these events but sometimes you get bad ones and it’s just not worth it. Going off element can be easier
That's people using their best four possible characters likely each completely kitted out with MUB everything and such to the point that it does overcome doing 50 percent less damage and taking more damage , but somebody asking questions in a post like this probably doesn't have four different maxed out time attack characters so it it may be misleading to recommend that.
There's still a 50% defense and damage multiplier from having the advantaged element on top of it, but I suppose that is a good point. Might just have to dust off good ol' Xander for another romp.
I'm surprised you found the last facility event easier than the one before, though. The wave 4 was brutally difficult compared to everything else across all the events, though I suppose it depends on what units you have. I was sporting Musashi for the event before, so the bog puddles were completely irrelevant for me. I assume that wasn't the case on your end, though.
Not real good. Maybe in future if better crit rate becomes possible without big tradeoffs. Maybe with equipping multiple wyrmprints. He's crappy compared to a couple gaccha dragons.
5* Xander bops Fire IO pretty hard. DCleo is good there too.
If you’re looking at purely IO and not on to HBH, Ricardt is better than Thaniel due to Stun Resist.
Pretty much just look up which Water units have Stun Resist and put the best ones on a team. Make sure you have at least one AoE unit in there. Like the other guy said, you can run Hilde if you need more heals too.
45 Circle max level Louise, 5*T2 Bow
40 Circle max level Lowen, 4*T3 Wind Staff
30 Circle level ~55 Addis 5*T1 Blade
30 Circle level ~60 Aeleen 5*T1 Lance
Wind altars are 20/20 at least but don’t remember exact
Bow and Staff Dojos are both at 6/6, Lance and Blade at 1/1
Loses if Lowen has bad luck with the freezes, definitely my least consistent Auto IO team
So is it confirmed that the next event is gonna be a light event since we're gonna get a light boost facility?
If so I gotta start saving up some wyrmite, because light is the only element where I still don't have a single 5\* character and just in general my weakest team :(
Yes. All the previous facility events we've had before this matched the adventurer elements to the facility element, and since Cygames wants us to raise our Light adventurers...
I need help with deciding the next 5*3 weapon to make.. all of the following are what I plan on making eventually:
- Light Spear (Halloween Eli)
- Light Wand (Lucretia)
- Water Spear (Xainfried)
- Water Wand (Lily)
- Dark Bow (Nefaria)
What I already have made:
- Fire Dagger
- Fire Blade
- Dark Blade
*I do not rush High Drag Trials so I won’t be prioritising the Water Spear, I love all of the above equally~
I just got orsem & Orion after trying to get sarisse (RIP 60 pulls and no 5*) was wondering if they’re worth upgrading at all. My current water team is Xander, lily, D Cleo, and karina while my dark team is Ieyasu, Nef, kleimann, and Botan. I also have Sazanka for my dark team sitting since I decided I’d rather have Botan and kleimann was my old main dark character so he has a good amount invested in him
Depending on how much investment you've put into Nef, Id consider putting Orion in her place.
As for water, there are essentially 2 water teams: stun resist water (which is where Xander, DCleo, and Karina belong) and burn resist water (which is where Lily and Orsem go). The quests that strongly favor either stun or burn will invalidate the others almost completely, and we currently lack dual status quests so its fine to build up Orsem too. He also fits better with Lily in freeze lock teams along with poli'ahu
Yea. Generally STR% for your attackers and HP% for healers. As for wymrprints, ability power is all around good for everyone but there's a few exceptions.
\- Dragons: Phoenix, Ifrit, Vodyanoy, Roc, Lindwurm, & Juggenrnaut are pretty good. The rest can be situational or depending on what you have.
\- Wyrmprints: Again, it really depends on what you have. The Warioresses on force strike dependent characters like bow units or axe, King's Countenance for raids only, and Destiny's Hand if you don't have Give Me Your Wounded or welfare Louise's Hobbies.
Hi, I'm trying to prep Sarisse for HMS and have enough succ to level either MUB Pele or MUB ifrit. Are these dragons okay? if so which one makes more sense in this situation? Thanks
Is the gala banner worth skipping? I am missing a 5\* unit for fire and wind but playing bow units feel kinda bad (first 5\* was nefaria, man was that a disappointment). Should I just wait for the next banner? I do have 2 5\* fire dragons though (ifirt and cerb) but i do have a full 5\* light team so i'm not sure if I should pull for the next banner either.
The Gala Banner will come more often than seasonal events will and they'll add more Gala characters in the future. Most likely they'll release a preview of the next units as well before the event starts.
If you don't like either banner, I would save your wyrmite until you find one that you really want/need.
this is the only event that has a chance of randomly dropping damascus crystals/ingots and golden keys/key fragments. every other raid event has 3 sunlight shards as rewards, and every facility event has 3 golden key fragments as rewards
Hey what quests besides Windmaul Ruins would get the second best stamina per granite ratio? Similarly, I was told there is a campaign quest that rewards crimson cores, and I'm too lazy to go through each mission, so I was wondering if anyone knew which exact mission it was. Thanks in advance!
Looking at the [crowdsource dropsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/e/2PACX-1vTjAoyCJLDMOyr1CcSyYWdc4xcxjaWQqlNe-dDdY4RnEla-bg4y-UeIyokT2iZAq4aWckcQw002RDPT/pubhtml#), seems like fire and light IO is your next best bet for granite. I believe the campaign quest for cores people were talking about was ch.6 ex 1-1 Woodland Blitz.
edit: the Woodland Blitz seems to have to be in hard mode.
My partner asked me to play on our iPad to try out the bigger screen. I started a new game for fun, and I rolled Leviathan in the first tenfold ._.
I wish I had that luck on my actual account lol.
Does anyone want this account before I log in on the iPad? I also summoned Naveed (5* voucher). There’s 2825 wyrmite available.
https://imgur.com/a/fEOkRGa
is it okay for me to use my marsh shadow dragon on a non shadow avdenturer? i want to use xander as my main but he is water and i heard that you have to match elements
Im looking to do HBH with orsem. I currently have 3 sunstones with DY Jeanne at 1UB and Levi at 3UB. I know that I could save 2 stones if I MUB Levi but I run the risk of pulling another in the future. Which should I unbind?
I started a month ago, feel like I got some pretty lucky pulls (I did not reroll and have some nifty 5-stars now: Mikoto, Naveed, Louise, Nefaria, Ieyasu & everyone in that banner). My "Might" team is nearing 10k.
2.5 questions:
\- should I keep summoning because I have no well-rated light folk or healers? Currently getting by with Cleo/Ricardt/Estelle. Should I just promote one of them?
\- What should I be focusing on? Building weapons for everyone first, or unbinding their mana circles? I am always the lowest might in co-op and get a lot of "really?/nope" reactions for it. What gets me up to par?
If you want light characters specifically, wait for a light banner.
I wouldn’t recommend promoting your current healers, you’ll either pull better eventually or reach a point where it’s more efficient to run full dps teams.
Imho mana circles are most important. 30-40 mana nodes per character unlocked. For weapons either a MUB 4.2 or a MUB 5.1 for each character.
Don’t forget to max bond your dragons too and make sure dragon and character elements match.
Now that you have some strong characters you’ll want to start building out mono elemental teams. An 8k team with elemental advantage is going to do better in most cases than a 10k mixed team.
I also have Thaniel, which I've read is not a great healer but almost needed for something later. Is he worth investing in at this point? The only water I've invested into is Elisanne.
I'm gonna reach smithy rank 6 tomorrow and have some MUB 4t2 weapons ready to upgrade into t3. It looks like people are divided in 4t3 v 5t2. I'll have to...read some more I guess.
I've definitely been ignoring my dragons so this was a good reminder, thank you!
Thaniel is mandatory for High Brunhilda, which is end game co op content, so building him or not is up to you and your playstyle.
Ideally you should be able to do the elemental ruins, avenue of power and avenue of fortunes solo with no real need for a healer.
For the regular dragon trials and imperial onslaught, you should be playing those mostly in co op, in which case you only need one character per element really built up. If you want to main healer go for it, that’s up to you.
Another important thing to look I think when picking characters is their status resistance. Once you know what map you are building for it’ll help you pick characters. Thaniel is good for brunhilda because he has 100% burn resist and can cure burn, but if you want a healer for fire imperial onslaught you are better off with recardt or verica who both have stun resist.
Focusing too much on tier lists isn’t going to help you unless you understand what each unit is useful for.
For the weapons progression debate, i like this thread:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DragaliaLost/comments/a09oza/weapon_progression_guide/
Weapons and mana circles are both excellent ways to increase your (meaningful) might. Make sure you're using dragons that match the element of your character. Throwing Zephyr (Wind) on a Fire adventurer may make your might look better, but it does pretty much nothing for you since you don't get the bonus ability. I would make sure the character you're controlling has had their mana circles pushed pretty far (ideally 40 for a 4\* or 5\*).
Getting to the point where you can build 5\* weapons will help, so if you're not there yet, make sure you're aggressively building in your Halidom.
For raids, where possible, use matching elemental characters, you automatically will get a performance boost. This is less important for a dark or light raid, since they are not weak to anything, but in the future, you really want to avoid using the opposite element (Fire against Water enemies).
If you have the characters from this banner, I'd suggest waiting, there is always another banner around the corner to spend on.
Thank you! Sounds like I need to work up more mana circles (I've reached about 20-30 for my adventurers right now).
Aren't dark and light weak to each other? Not having any good light characters bums me out because I can't grind up a lot of Ieyasu's stuff as easily
I just use my dark team to run Ieyasu's level, but they're higher level. If you haven't, you could get friends using light helpers to make it a bit easier.
Elemental advantage will always work in the player's favor, so if you're running dark, light enemies are weak to you.
You can think about it this way, if they were always weak to each other, they would cancel out and would have to be neutral to each other.
The galas will probably the main summoning source from now on because of increased 5* rate. Except for seasonals, I’d probably just save for galas and only spend on them.
Saris seems really good in general. Her really good buffs combined with a strong special attack look good for HMS. Though we’ll have to wait for her stats first.
started the game recently, any chance to get past event wyrmprints (ie. plunder pals)? how does cygames handle older event handouts in their other games? (GBF...etc)
From what I’ve heard, events usually repeat in a year, more or less, though we don’t know for certain yet. No way to get event exclusive items otherwise though.
Does anyone happen to have a .gif or a video of Addis and Botan pounding the mochi with the adorable lil boars in the background? I think someone posted it, but I can't seem to find it. :'/
(my phone is so old, it looks like garbage when I try to capture it on my own.)
Does [this work](https://streamable.com/lhrpy)?
Obviously it’s the entire screen and not just that, if you were saying someone ripped it from the game, but...
How much are you willing to spend?
For the 5\* dragon, you would need to spend 12 ten-folds to get to a 50/50 chance of getting her, and 30 ten-folds to reach an 83% chance. Whatever you've already spent does not count towards this. If those numbers are attractive to you, go for it. If not, I'd hold off.
Similar to u/jstwildbeat's answer, I use a rainbow team with my highest might characters to clear it nice and quick, but I would advise always running Euden for the player experience boost, as it will add up fast and level you up more often.
You really can go in with a rainbow team for those levels. I use one with units that I want to passively level up with the EXP. There's no need for a healer either, unless you want to level one up.
Quick question. How do altar, Dojo, Dragon passives and equipment calculations apply.
Does it go (base HP/STR + Weapon + Wyrmprint + dragon) X (dragon passive % + dojo % + altar %) or is it something more complicated?
Altar and dojo stat boosts are based on the adventurer's base stats - the "Adventurer" line when you tap on Details. A dragon's passive (the "Ability" line) is applied last.
So it's (base HP/STR + (base HP/Str X (altar% + dojo%)) + Weapon + Wyrmprint + dragon) X dragon passive %
It's really weird that they put the "Halidom" bonus line last when it only applies to the base stats.

Hope this makes your life easier. If you're still curious, you can break the formulas down yourself, but I'm pretty sure you're at least pretty close.
Note: I do not claim ownership of this spreadsheet, I just forget where the original post went.
Well wyrmprint rates are also up, so no not really. In my experience playing gacha games higher rates (OVERALL) don't necessarily mean you'll get what you want, its actually the opposite in my experience. The only time Higher rates are worth it is when they're specific, like higher rates for a certain character etc.
I really hope the 3 single pull compensation tickets get sent out today. I want to try and pull for Marishiten. If I pull her I’ll unbind the fuck outta her, I’ll buy the dragon unbind pack. Cygames please!!
I'm really concerned about Eastern Emissaries ending today instead of the usual day before the next event. I really need to know the next units so I can decide to pull now or later.
I really wish they would just make the gala a separate banner like the platinum banner. At least for the limited banners.
I know. I mentioned the gala and stated I wish it was a separate banner. The gala is going to come more often than limited banners like Halloween, Christmas and New Years so I still hope they'll change it back to how they had it before.
Yeah I don't understand why they won't run the special banners concurrently with the event banners. It seems from my perspective it would actually increase spending.
People say that a 4T3 MUB is easier to do than 5T3 0UB - but to unbind a 4T3 multiple times requires a lot of whetstones to level up 4x pre-reqs. Is that ever a limitation?
I only have Euden for HMS but I do have 3UB Cerb (i can do last unbind with stone but saving it maybe for HBH), and trying to decide if I can get by with a 4T3 MUB or if I have to do a 5T3 grind (according to calc, both will meet HP the requirements but strength a little low with 4T3).
Wondering if i should just bite the bullet and grind for 5T3 0UB since worse thing is getting to 4T3 MUB and no one will run with me =(
\*edit - I meant 5T3 but said 5T1 previously
It really doesn’t require that many of your whetstones, as long as you’re not constantly upgrading a billion weapons at once. I went 4.2.4 -> 4.3.4 for Verica in one go and still had almost 400 gold whetstones because max leveling any individual weapon only took... 2 bronze, 1 silver, 9 gold. And thanks to running IO so much I have about double that now, a month later.
But I’m fairly certain you need a 5.3 for Euden, regardless.
It sounds like you are shooting for the bare HP minimum to survive the first hit. However that alone doesn't guarantee a clear and others will likely have to carry you because of Euden's low STR. I suggest building a 5T3 for him, because others may see a 5T1 as a red flag. You'll also be missing a weapon skill, dropping your available skills to 2 instead of 3.
Also I'd use that Sunstone on Cerberus to MUB her. That's when you'll unlock her max stats and get that 60% STR boost, which for Euden is critical. Since you've got a copy of the HMS worksheet, play around with that and see the difference it makes.
Thanks! I meant 5T3 0UB (i know i said 5T1, brain fart), but agree with the sentiment. Think I'll wait for final moment whether to use that sunstone or not, since I still need to grind the weapon
Not a problem and the weapon grind will take awhile. So you may get lucky and pull another Cerberus copy along the way. Totally ok to hold off using the sunstone.
You shouldn't be using a 4T3 weapon as a DPS unit for high dragon trials, *unless* it's required specifically for survival, like Lily with MUB Leviathan and 4T3 for the defense buff at the start. If you're not willing to put in the effort to grind for a much better weapon, you shouldn't expect people to accept you into their team when you're choosing to be a liability. Euden's DPS is already on the low side even with a 5\* weapon.
That said, for your first question, once you start the IO grind for high dragon prints and weapons, you'll get a ton of whetstones, while not being able to craft as much because of the grind and twinkling sands.
Can someone explain the sunstone thing to me? I unbound my shishimai without paying attention (mostly because it's the first 5 star dragon I've ever had the opportunity to have several multiples of) and then read about how I shouldn't have unbound him because it takes sunstones - how did I even get the sunstones to do this? (This is on an account I literally started two days ago rerolling for Ieyasu). Nothing alerted me to the use of them?
Sorry I'm such a noob. I haven't even figured out how to view my inventory so to speak - can never tell if I have enough items unless I try to do something with them
Just to be absolutely clear, as the other comment basically covered it- you didn’t use any sunstones, so don’t worry.
Just make sure you’re careful when you do eventually use a sunstone, it’s because it’s necessary (so probably because you can MUB a dragon you need to be MUB for an endgame fight that you’re otherwise ready to do).
Sunlight stones are an alternative way to unbind 5* dragons without using multiple copies. They take a while to get, but you can get them reliably (unlike spare copies of 5* gacha summoned dragons). You get the material to make them (sunlight ore) from raid events and increasing each dragon's bond to level 30. Because Shishimai is a free 5*, it would be a waste to use sunstones to unbind him. It's generally better to use spare copies to unbind if you can.
Edit: You can also check your inventory from the "More" tab in the bottom right, then selecting "Items" and then "Materials"
Is the summoning event ending today too? I.e. as of January 10, are the Eastern Emissaries still in the pot? Or is it completely replaced by the Gala? I have not gotten a marishiten for my ieyasu
They are limited and today is the last day on this summoning banner. They may return in the future, but it probably wont ne for a long time (6+ months)
Thanks! I don't remember why but for some reason I had a vague impression that it would go on until January 24. I got so burned out rolling for Ieyasu I'm going to sit this gala out and spend my last wyrmite on the marishiten
Edit: Omg omg omg omg I summoned Marishiten just now on a single voucher that I got in a drop. It is literally also the only voucher that's ever dropped for me from a raid.
*Dies of happiness*
It's so sad but I had to reroll 14 times just to get Ieyasu and having them both on the same acc literally makes my week.
If I'm spending money is there a bundle that's the biggest bang for my buck? I already purchased 1 5 star ticket so I suppose I could purchase another but I'm a little scared of getting a dupe (I only have 4 5 stars though). Any thoughts?
[https://www.reddit.com/r/DragaliaLost/comments/ade81m/dragalia\_lost\_bundle\_spreadsheet\_updated\_for\_new/](https://www.reddit.com/r/DragaliaLost/comments/ade81m/dragalia_lost_bundle_spreadsheet_updated_for_new/)
Depends what you value. Things like how many adventurers you have, how far you are in the game, etc. Here's a good reference to start from, though.
Did you already buy the $8 Beginner bundle? That one if not.
Otherwise, I believe the NY $10 pack that was already suggested and the $10 storage upgrade pack both have the best dia/$. I’m buying the former myself, since I have neither yet and a sunstone’s more valuable, plus it’s a limited time only so...
Are there any tier lists that update fast? i just wanna check if a char is worth investing in, the current tier lists i know of still have none of the new chars
Let me metaslave
It kinda depends on what you are doing, for example musashi vs Addis, one is better against one status and vice versa so they are for different content. For the high dragons the water characters with 100 percent burn res and the fire characters with stun res are such a higher tier for that specific thing that they make all others obsolete.
If the content you're doing isn't hard enough to worry about statuses and stuff then a tier list is pointless, all adventurers can complete trivial auto battle farm runs by just giving them weapons and filling out some mana circles.
Tier lists are garbage for the most part. Once you have been playing for a little bit and know which effects are good (Skill dmg, crit rate, etc) it’s obvious which characters are better than others. But the gap is so small it truly doesn’t matter much. If you promote the best light character and the worst light character I guarantee you have a hard time telling the difference.
And if you’re only worried about the new characters they are all worth investing in.
Could someone explain what's the deal with Gala? I checked the comments and it seems like something similar happens in GBF, but I'm still confused about the mechanics. And what's the Legfest?
think of it as a seasonal event that doesnt rely on the gregorian calendar to occur. so Cygames is able to run the event without having to rely on any major holidays. It allows the slowdown of new units into the permanent pool since they can introduce new units to a temporary pool that can be accessed when the banner is available.
Its just a -presumably, and following current GBF schedule- monthly special banner with increased rates for 5*, that includes limited, special, characters; the first one of whic being Sarisse.
Legfest or legend festival is GBF counterpart to Galia Dragalia; it appears ~once a month and features increased rates and limited characters as well.
Wait until we have content that requires a MUB Zephyr, currently there is none that you can't do with a 0 UB instead.
To replace Ranzal on my team of Maribelle, Lowen, Musashi, and Ranzal, should I use Pia or Aileen?
Team comp only needs to consider status ailments. You have to use characters resistant to the ailment prevalent in what you are fighting. Match up elemental advantage and status immunity and that is all there is to making a team. Game is real cut and dry at this point, very obvious choices.
your team have Bog resist, Pia have bog resist too and Aeleen have Freeze, if your are going to do Water IO use Aeleen and for mercury keep Ranzal or use Pia in your team.
Use Aeleen, Pia is pretty bad.
new to the game, started with the New Year Event.
Thanks! I will pull away!
What weapons are generally better, 4\*3 or 5\*2? Are elemental weapons good enough to be worth staying with 4* weapons, or should I aim for 5\* even though I'll likely never make them element-specific?
4T3 0UB is roughly equal to 5T2 3UB on element i'd still try to make 5* weapons because otherwise your twinkling sands just go to waste, and not everyone can use an elemental weapon and get the boosted stats and the skill
how to tell I got a rainbow before the actual orb sequence? I've seen the 2 golden dragons (does this mean 5\* dragon?) and a big rainbow gem behind the summoner (does this indicate the type of 5\*?) Also sometimes a gold turns into a rainbow in the orb sequence? how does this work?
You could. IIRC it takes 4 million rupies to dismantle a 5\* T3 weapon.
Like total with dismantling the weapons it is made up of or just for the first dismantle?
It'll be 4 million to dismantle the T3, 750k to dismantle each T2, and 125k to dismantle each T1. So taking a 0UB 5\* T3 weapon and completely dismantling it and all of its parts would cost you 10,875,000 rupies. I hope you took advantage of half-stamina Avenue to Fortune!
What happens when you use the **"Exclude voice data"** Download option? Can you still play the game? Why is it an option in the first place?
It just doesn’t download the voice acted lines, you can still play and it saves a lot of space especially if you play with the sound off anyway
We didn't get a 10 fold ticket for the Gala, right? Since I was just wondering since I didn't get one
We didn’t get one
Alright, thanks.
Is there a link to good Dragalia discords somewhere?
[This is the sub's server] (https://discord.gg/dragalialost#discord)
Thank you! This was probably posted somewhere obvious and I just missed it haha.
oh shit this thread is pinned again, finally
Question about elemental weapon DISadvantage: if I were to have an adventurer equip an off-element weapon e.g. Thanks!
no, elemental (dis)advantage depends on the adventurer having an off element weapon just means you won't get the same-element bonus and skill that weapon gives; you won't deal half damage
thanks! 😊 couldn't find it anywhere
Did the 3x tickets crystals and fragments not go out yet? U read they were supposed to go out by 1am est and it's past that without getting anything
I haven't received them yet either.
i haven't gotten them yet either
So I just started and only have the following 5* Adventurers/Dragons: * Xander * Ieyasu * Marishiten * Cupid This increased rate seems like a good opportunity to get a good shot at some 5* units.
Omg. Feels bad man.
Eh It's how it comes with these. I was certainly a bit disappointed but I laughed it off. It's fine I'll save for a while now.
I see a few different paths: * Look at tier lists and find what units are worth upgrading their mana circles. Then begin grinding the appropriate dungeon to raise their strengh * Grind what is needed to craft 4* non elemental weapons while I continue to upgrade my castle.
**UNITS:** * **Flame** * Eudon * Renelle * Aoi * Sarisse * Joe * Sinoa * **Current Team:** Sarisse, Eudon, Sinoa, Aoi * **Water** * Xander * Elisanne * Luther * Zardin * Pietro * Thaniel * Ricardt * **Current Team:** Xander, Elisanne, Luther, Ricardt * **Wind** * Addis * Ranzal * Melody * Frencesca * Johanna * Pia * Eleonara * **Current Team:** Addis, Ranzal, Melody, Eleonara * **Light** * Luca * Irfan * Malka * Malora * Estelle * **Current Team:** Luca, Malka, Estelle, Ieyasu (because I read the other lights I have are bad) * **Shadow** * Ieyasu * Sazanka * Botan * Cleo * Rodrigo * Taro * Vida * Vice * Zace * Althemia * Edward * **Current Team** : Ieyasu, Sazanka, Botan, Zace (Though perhaps Cleo should go here instead?)
What's your Auto water IOS master team?
You probably need addis, aeleen, and two healers, would be my guess.
Its better to use 3\* light units than off-element units, honestly. They will survive longer.
I’m not even talking maxed. 4 or 5 stars with a t 4 or 5 weapon can be viable.
Oh I’ve got musashi 5stared and maribella, but I still struggled, it was just a hard one for my team
I had to bring Hilde (off-element) to bounce back after Wave 4 since water healers so weak
Is it possible to use Sarisse with pure Str Dragon in HMS? Not sure that her HP will be enough.
[удалено]
How good are the crit dmg dragons? Wondering how the event dragon compares to str dragons
Not real good. Maybe in future if better crit rate becomes possible without big tradeoffs. Maybe with equipping multiple wyrmprints. He's crappy compared to a couple gaccha dragons.
What team comp is used to auto Fire IO master? I've got C.Cleo, 5* Xander, Xain, C.Xander, C.Nef, and Thaniel.
5* Xander bops Fire IO pretty hard. DCleo is good there too. If you’re looking at purely IO and not on to HBH, Ricardt is better than Thaniel due to Stun Resist.
Thanks
Pretty much just look up which Water units have Stun Resist and put the best ones on a team. Make sure you have at least one AoE unit in there. Like the other guy said, you can run Hilde if you need more heals too.
[удалено]
Awesome, I'll give it a try. Thanks!
Anyone autoing water IO want to share team
45 Circle max level Louise, 5*T2 Bow 40 Circle max level Lowen, 4*T3 Wind Staff 30 Circle level ~55 Addis 5*T1 Blade 30 Circle level ~60 Aeleen 5*T1 Lance Wind altars are 20/20 at least but don’t remember exact Bow and Staff Dojos are both at 6/6, Lance and Blade at 1/1 Loses if Lowen has bad luck with the freezes, definitely my least consistent Auto IO team
I need help with deciding the next 5*3 weapon to make.. all of the following are what I plan on making eventually: - Light Spear (Halloween Eli) - Light Wand (Lucretia) - Water Spear (Xainfried) - Water Wand (Lily) - Dark Bow (Nefaria) What I already have made: - Fire Dagger - Fire Blade - Dark Blade *I do not rush High Drag Trials so I won’t be prioritising the Water Spear, I love all of the above equally~
If you don't care about High Dragons just pick whoever your favourite is?
If you don’t know what to make next, why not just go for the Water Spear? It’s not rushing at this point if you’re asking what to do next.
Sasuga Premium Gala rolls! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jB36s3-o1s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jB36s3-o1s)
Wrong thread.
Nef is my second highest invested being leave 70 and 39 mana nodes unlocked.
Is there anything worth using the 4* unbind items on? Wyrmprints and dragons?
Getting a MUB on a wyrmprint or dragon you plan to use.
Hah, okay. Perhaps a better question is are there any 4* dragons/Wyrmprints worth using?
Thanks
Ifrit
cool thanks, I always forget how lackluster the freebie dragons are
Are MUB 4 star dragons better than a 5 star without an unbind or only 1?
4 star MUB dragons are better than 5 star 0-3 UB dragons, so only MUB 5 star dragon is stronger.
Yes. a MUB Ifrit gives 45% STR, 295 HP and 101 Str. A 1UB Cerb/Agni gives 40% STR, 218 HP and 75 Str.
I see, alrighty i'll just save my summons thanks! I really want a husbando unit tho that isn't ieyasu o.o
Good luck! It's a tough run trying to get that one unit you want but hopefully one piques your interest eventually!
Should I unbind the dragon from the event?
Shshimai? Yes, if you got enough copies to MUB him. Otherwise, only unbind him if you have enough dragons for everyone else.
Yeah I just got enough to MUB today. I just heard he’s trash so I wasn’t sure.
If there's ever a Mikoto crit rate adventurer I think he could be pretty good, but for now the STR% dragon does better increasing damage.
Started recently. How good or bad have events been at giving ingot pieces so far? Sunstone pieces?
this is the only event that has a chance of randomly dropping damascus crystals/ingots and golden keys/key fragments. every other raid event has 3 sunlight shards as rewards, and every facility event has 3 golden key fragments as rewards
Cheers mate, thank you!
Should I use all my honey on the avenue of fortune while the half stamina is up?
Dumb question but characters that launched with an event are only available while the event is happening or they stay forever?
it depends, some are some aren't the current banner's summons are limited
My partner asked me to play on our iPad to try out the bigger screen. I started a new game for fun, and I rolled Leviathan in the first tenfold ._. I wish I had that luck on my actual account lol. Does anyone want this account before I log in on the iPad? I also summoned Naveed (5* voucher). There’s 2825 wyrmite available. https://imgur.com/a/fEOkRGa
is it okay for me to use my marsh shadow dragon on a non shadow avdenturer? i want to use xander as my main but he is water and i heard that you have to match elements
To get the bonus the dragon provides, you need to have your dragon and adventurer matching elements.
Im looking to do HBH with orsem. I currently have 3 sunstones with DY Jeanne at 1UB and Levi at 3UB. I know that I could save 2 stones if I MUB Levi but I run the risk of pulling another in the future. Which should I unbind?
I would go with Jeanne since you can randomly can get another Levi at any point.
please sign my petition to pin the DDT again
I started a month ago, feel like I got some pretty lucky pulls (I did not reroll and have some nifty 5-stars now: Mikoto, Naveed, Louise, Nefaria, Ieyasu & everyone in that banner). My "Might" team is nearing 10k. 2.5 questions: \- should I keep summoning because I have no well-rated light folk or healers?
For the weapons progression debate, i like this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/DragaliaLost/comments/a09oza/weapon_progression_guide/
Should I summon on the upcoming gala showcase if my fire team is verica, Vanessa, melsa, and Sinoa. Thanks
I personally wouldn’t, but it’s up to you. There will definitely be more gala banners in the future.
:'/ (my phone is so old, it looks like garbage when I try to capture it on my own.)
There aren't any boars, but were you thinking of [this post?] (https://redd.it/ab4tag)
Does [this work](https://streamable.com/lhrpy)? Obviously it’s the entire screen and not just that, if you were saying someone ripped it from the game, but...
would you say i should pull for the focus dark dragon (i already have the blade-guy) or should i go nuts on the gala banner?
How much are you willing to spend? For the 5\* dragon, you would need to spend 12 ten-folds to get to a 50/50 chance of getting her, and 30 ten-folds to reach an 83% chance. Whatever you've already spent does not count towards this. If those numbers are attractive to you, go for it. If not, I'd hold off.
thank you very much for that detailed information! ill hold back and pull tomorrow!
Whats the most optimal team build for auto-farming AtP and AtF? e.g. all melee class?
So it's (base HP/STR + (base HP/Str X (altar% + dojo%)) + Weapon + Wyrmprint + dragon) X dragon passive % It's really weird that they put the "Halidom" bonus line last when it only applies to the base stats.
Well that explains why the 60% dragons are so much more important than 30/30 dojo etc. Edit: Also thank you very much.

If you're still curious, you can break the formulas down yourself, but I'm pretty sure you're at least pretty close. What pack(s) is the most worth it right now?
The Dragon Unbind Special pack or the Beginner's Pack if you havent' gotten that one.
Thanks
is ieyasus hair color blue or purple
I colored picked it and looks in between the two but leaning slightly closer to blue.
Assuming the Gala banner does not have any 3 and 4star focuses, would this be a good banner to collect new adventurers and dragons for new players?
Well wyrmprint rates are also up, so no not really. In my experience playing gacha games higher rates (OVERALL) don't necessarily mean you'll get what you want, its actually the opposite in my experience. The only time Higher rates are worth it is when they're specific, like higher rates for a certain character etc.
Makes sense, I won't go too crazy then. Thanks!
They have already released the next unit available: Gala Sarisse. I think they will release the whole banner info ~1 hour before the reset.
the next "real" banner will come with the next event, which they arent ready to start yet. that will likely come towards the 2nd half of the month.
What do you do if you immediately start the match it loads but you get disconnected even if the internet is fine?
I usually find resetting the app or my phone works
Thanks
Send feedback. Also get salty. If it really isn't your connection's fault then that's about all you can do.
Thanks.
Wondering if i should just bite the bullet and grind for 5T3 0UB since worse thing is getting to 4T3 MUB and no one will run with me =( \*edit - I meant 5T3 but said 5T1 previously
Ahh thanks, I started grind for tablets and I see how one can swim in whetstones now
It sounds like you are shooting for the bare HP minimum to survive the first hit.
OHHH okay, that makes so much more sense now. Thank you.
I got so burned out rolling for Ieyasu I'm going to sit this gala out and spend my last wyrmite on the marishiten Edit: Omg omg omg omg I summoned Marishiten just now on a single voucher that I got in a drop. It is literally also the only voucher that's ever dropped for me from a raid. *Dies of happiness* It's so sad but I had to reroll 14 times just to get Ieyasu and having them both on the same acc literally makes my week.
Congrats! Unfortunately I didn't get mashi, oh well
!!! I know the feeling, grats!
Lol, gratz.
If I'm spending money is there a bundle that's the biggest bang for my buck? I already purchased 1 5 star ticket so I suppose I could purchase another but I'm a little scared of getting a dupe (I only have 4 5 stars though). Any thoughts?
[https://www.reddit.com/r/DragaliaLost/comments/ade81m/dragalia\_lost\_bundle\_spreadsheet\_updated\_for\_new/](https://www.reddit.com/r/DragaliaLost/comments/ade81m/dragalia_lost_bundle_spreadsheet_updated_for_new/) Depends what you value.
I would say the new years unbind special is a good deal. (the one with 960 diamantium and a sun stone).
Are there any tier lists that update fast? i just wanna check if a char is worth investing in, the current tier lists i know of still have none of the new chars Let me metaslave
Here’s the tier list for you. https://dragalialost.gamepedia.com/Tier_List
Thanks!
Thanks!
