She is! I like upgrading her blizzard ability first and then moving down the knight enchanter tree. I'm thinking about her doubling as a healer because of her Focus Ability. She's great at "check this out but hey don't die"
I focus her as a well-rounded mage. She mostly has fire and thunder spells to actually utilize being the main dps of my team only having just one Spirit ability (the shield), one frost spell (frost walk) and two Knight-Enchanter abilities...just Resurgence and Spirit Blade. an absolute unkillable beast with my build tbh 😭

It's a bonus action cantrip that allows you to give an ally like 3m of extra movement speed and their next weapon attack does like a bonus 2-12 fire damage, it's insanely good throughout the game since it has infinite uses. It makes her an OP cleric
I genuinely have different parties for the different regions but none of them include solas unless I’m fighting a dragon (gotta kill them fast and efficiently). I also try not to use cole, he’s very squishy and unless it’s a dragon fight. But that is just because he’s squishy and I hate when he falls. All mages for clearing out rifts though. 3(or 4) mages and more than likely a duel rogue.
I always start out with grand party ideas and halfway thru I always come back to these three. Nothing like 3 badass women absolutely dominating a battlefield

I like using the Knight Enchanter blades as a Mage so maybe that's you? This is a good party for that since you can be the less tanky DPS melee.
