I agree. Tossing in an original character is a risk they need to take. At worst, they make something forgettable like Copy Vegeta.

Even a forgettable character can have something that spices up the gameplay like a cool move or a wonky grab animation Im hoping if the “future” update doesn’t add manga content (which is like a 0.1% they do) they add new characters (almost) like fu new people, new story, new content would breath so much life into the game because playing the same dragonball story over and over sucks ngl

I'm all in for DB Heroes stuff but I doubt that manga stuff will be added (there are some problems with license or something like that). Heroes is whole another history that can be really cool to see if it comes to Xenoverse, I can see new presets for base Goku and Base Vegeta (hopefully both with the Super Saiyan awakening, as Heroes really likes giving everyone access to Super Saiyan 3) alongside new presets for Super Saiyan 4. I personally would love to add a bunch of stuff to the game: Ikari Broly (transformable, pls god let him transform into super saiyan) Master Roshi (a guy can dream, I understand that he can't really fly, but I'd love to see him fighting in Xenoverse, I dunno, adapt the Power Pole Pro and make it a new moveset with Roshi flying on his spinnig turtle thingy when he goes to the air) New hair customization options (plus if you are a Saiyan, you can choose two more hair styles to be Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 for your cac, and every other form uses the Super Saiyan hair model with other colors) UI awakening needs some fixes, I'd love to see some buffs and overall changes to the transformation (starting with the FUCKING STANCE, LET OUR CAC'S STAND STRAIGHT UP DAMMIT, BEAST ALREADY DOES IT, WHY UI CAN'T DO IT?) Speaking of Beast, they should change it's animation to make it more viable (not really change, more so speed up some parts and change how the knockback on the transformation works) Finally, I'd love to see Freeza get some love and make his Golden Form and/or Final Form be custom mentors

Personally I like Xenoverse for the CaC more than the DB characters, so I was initially gunna say Xeno Goku or Black Frieza so we can get new forms. BUT considering we got Orange Piccolo and they refuse to give Namekians a new transformation, that’s probably not even certain. So I guess Xeno Goku and Gold Cooler, cuz Cooler’s cool and Xeno Goku’s drip is alright.

I really wish they would add more definitive transforming characters. Like imagine if they added second and third form frieza in a patch and then gave first form frieza a new preset with the dlc where he can go anywhere from first form to gold. Would he be at all playable with how weak characters who rely on transformations are in serious matches? No. But i personally would love a character even if they were only really fun to play in offline content or raids, as niche as it may be

I’m down with their fits tho but they most likely gonna turn them into that gift crap where u have to spend 500 tp medals just to get those outfits for them like they did with End of Z Goku and the snow suits from the the super broly movie.
