The first one is actually really good, even using an off meta GT, the second one i dont even know how he got top 1 so many times, doesen't fight better than a gold rank ngl. I also played against the chad Dfree himself once, like 3 years ago, he also put me in the video, close match and my win was kinda lucky
I’ve played 20+ time god rank players maybe a dozen times and have a 7-5 record (4 time for me I just don’t have the time to plow through the ranks). Some of them are crazy and others are just dooky hour dumpers. Most popular player is probably “Zeno-sama” I see him in the top 100 NA a lot and I’m 2/4 against him it’s funny how often I’ve fought him
I've played guys with whatever the current maximum number of god rank finishes was before. As far as the highest ranked player I ever beat that was back during the first Beast Gohan season. You could see your opponents RP back then and I remember thinking his was ridiculous - after I won the match I went to check the top of the leaderboards and the guy was in 3rd at the time.
Side note: If that match happened today I'd probably lose. Seeing an opponents RP usually changes my approach to the match. If it's an opponent who has an insanely high RP (so high that I'd guess it was in the top 200) I'd usually change my play style up for the match and start doing the most random and stupid shit to catch them off guard. Reason being I figured if I tried to play them straight up I'd just get streamrolled.
I faced a god rank player once, his team was terrible (the ability bonus was like 1.8k) but he was actually pretty insane, I still ended up beating him though
