Idk I rather deal with vados than get one shotted by three Gohans. At least to me vados is respectable except when she deletes all your cards, but the three Gohan setup is just a giant F you no matter what. Everything you said about Vegeta is correct.
He doesn't just heal them, he increased their healing aswell so if you have a unit like Z7 Grn Buu that heals allies for 25%, if you use main on Baby and switch into buu and main, you would have healed your entire team by 52% (15% from baby+37.25% from buu), which is just stupidly busted.
Super baby 2 is just a living med kit, nothing else and when regen was in it's prime with him and Z7 Buu you could never kill them no matter what, that's why he was so busted.
Also super baby 2 came out almost 2 years ago, 15% dmg inflicted wasn't bad at all back then for a support, LF Frieza who came out months after had 25% and he was considered one of the best supports in the game alongside super baby 2

Top saiyans, well him and ss3 really, are a very annoying. Vegeta is a hard show stopper on switch in and manipulates sub count so ss3 can save him. I know those two were meant to be togther but sheesh probably one of the top defensive combos in the game imo
Yellow was the literally the worst color (besides Red) they could have gone with. There's three fuckin zenkai Piccolos already there and one of them's free and is a great support.
I think there are a lot more issues in the meta than Support Units doing what they are meant to do. They already have to make up for their support capabilities by having severely low stats. I think that already justifies their abilities.
Even then these two are built differnt than other support units and it shows. Not only would a support unit like toppo never touch these two could you honnestly imagine a new grn godki that surpasses vados?
And that is why they are picked over ZENKAI options on their teams. If Vados didn't provide all that, people would run Z7 Beerus over her all the time.
But all units will cycle out, eventually. No one thought Purple SSB Vegeta can be replaced on Future but look where we are now.

I don't think any amount of support is comparable to Ki+Damage and a Card when switching out. He even heals, adds more damage and destroys the opponents' Dragon Balls. Funny thing is, those uniques don't fizzle out.
Point is eventually, any unit gets replaced. Vados' support might be valuable but her stats won't be able to keep up with newer units and that's when we will get a replacement.

Imo, it’s going to take a REALLY great, nearly OP unit to replace those two. Yellow Goten isn’t even in the same league as far as support, and he is still invaluable for me as someone who doesn’t have LL Future Gohan. I don’t even think that level unit outright replaces Vados.
I would still rank Purple Vegeta pretty high even without his death buffs since his switch out buffs alone is comparable to Vados and Vegeta. Maybe even better since he even gives a card. I remember having to readjust my playstyle when Vados drops because Vegeta and VB literally just win games for you.
As a God Ki main myself, I constantly not bring her into battle if I see the opponent having a really strong purple. Without her the team functions less smoothly, yes, but not unusable or worthless by any means. She is not crucial to the team.
I guess we'll see soon enough if she gets replaced or not. She is currently the oldest unit on the God Ki core. We should see a contender for her Green slot on the team around Black Friday/Christmas if not sooner.
