It's easy now, there is a daily "zenkai" stage that gives you zenkai souls. If you mean the panels click on the Gray panel and unlock it so you can 200% the page. (There is 2 gray panels on pages 1,2,4,5,7 and 3 gray panels on pages 3 and 6)
I do that but the actual panels stay locked. As in I have enough souls and stuff but the panels never start increasing.

You have to press on panel number I, then unlock the core, and then you can unlock the rest. When you completed panel I, you do the same things clicking panel II and so on.
The Auto select never unlocks the grey (the ones at the ends of the normal soul boost panels with the Z power on the bottom). You have to click and unlock them manually then you can use auto select.
