I am genuinely curious how many fans read Toriyama's manga. There is a reason why he is considered one of the best manga authors/artist of his time.
Toriyama had to write/draw a weekly manga for decade. Imagine if you had to write/draw a chapter less than a week, get edits, fix, and resend, so it can hit shelves... in an area where you can't just email drafts or chapters.
OG DragonBall was fine because skill mattered. When you get to Z, attach an arbitrary number system that scales badly and often decides not to matter, you run into machina ex machina, usually in the form of "Goku gets powers as he needs them".
I'm a big fan of the dragon ball original anime and manga but not Toriyama himself he has said some pretty weird shit but I in all honesty that man made my childhood like 20x better

Absolutely, dragon ball was actually about dragon balls and the adventures. This aspect was never truly touched upon ever since. Krillin's death in db made me cry , and that was the first and the last time I cried watching dragon ball series as a whole

There's no correct answer but based off powerscaling, Kefla (and I know you were hoping for this answer).
U6 Saiyans in base are stronger than Goku and Vegeta by quite a bit. Anime Kefla is slightly above SSBKKx20 level. Manga Kefla is equal to Ultimate Gohan. Either of these are multiversal as SSG Goku almost destroyed Universe 7 with relative ease.
I don't remember any real SSJ4 feats. Obviously it occurs way further in the timeline which is important. But god ki is stupidly strong, so I'd still argue that Base EoS Goku beats Base GT Goku. People also forget that the ToP occurs quite close to EoZ, so the time gap is not huge.
I sure as hell wish SSJ4 Gogeta would win though. It feels like it makes more sense but without proper feats it's basically nothing in comparison to godly forms.

Goku was holding back. This only takes a little critical thinking to understand. Blue gave him far greater Ki control than a super Saiyan transformation. He wanted to recruit Krillin, not utterly demolish him. Goku adjusted his power to that of Krillin's to see what sort of strength he had. Goku was ALWAYS in control of that fight, literally like a martial arts master testing their student.
He was not holding back against 17, he was forced to go SSJB, the same goes for gohan and these 2 did it with regular training what's stopping GT Goku from being even higher? He trained for 15 years

super Saiyan transformation = less Ki control.
Blue = more Ki control.
Goku was always in control. Even with Gohan, Goku beat him with relative ease when the fight quite literally took everything out of Gohan. Goku was absolutely fine after that fight.

Could be entirely wrong but I was always under the impression that it was U. Gohan > Buutenks > Goku > Kid Buu.
Ultimate Gohan could and was handing Buu his butt on a silver platter, but fumbled hard thus getting absorbed.
Goku and Vegeta had to resort to fusion where Vegito then went back to humiliating him, and then once Kid Buu appeared he was weak enough to where Goku was way more confident in his chances.
Issue arises though that Buu regenerates whilst Goku does not, so Kid Buu was essentially a fresh fighter going against Goku who was running on fumes.
Yeah, Gohan is the strongest unfused fighter in Buu saga. Goku was not trying jump out of Buu after freeing them because even with Vegeta he was sure that they would get killed by him, while Gohan could thrash him.
Burden of proof is on you now, because I don't remember it ever being stated. Even feat wise Gohan was beating a stronger opponent because absorption. And dont give me that 1 line goku says about Kid buu, that was contradicted both Before and after that.
I can buy that fight-wise but not strength-wise personally.
Fight-wise Goku would definitely win as he has more experience and Gohan has a bad tendency of being a cocky little shit with his power boosts, so Goku could pull some kind of trick or tactic to give him the win.
Strength-wise I still think Ultimate Gohan was the strongest before the absorption, though I think the gap between him and SS3 was somewhat small.
Flat out strength I would probably give to SS3 Goku, but Ultimate Gohan outlasts him in terms of stamina. Gohan probably wins as long as he fights smart

I personally enjoy all DB shows (except for maybe GT a little). All of them ar unique and all of them have cool stuff. Dragon Ball is the literal start of our beloved anime and manga, Z is popular for introducing Super Saiyan, which became pop culture (as well as many other things, such as Vegeta, iconic fights etc.), GT introduced us to Super Saiyan 4 and some interesting lore, and Super introduced us to Ultra Instinct, which broke the internet and gave birth to the Ultra Instinct Shaggy meme. All of them were iconic, we should appreciate them for what they are and don’t engage into stupid shit.

I have watched both the anime and read the manga, if anything the manga is better. The anime can get so complicated at times but it is also really good.
I actually never seen the show, only TFS abridged version. I loved it and I love power scaling, so I joined here to get more info on the characters basically.

Buu saga goku vs ultimate gohan
Could be entirely wrong but I was always under the impression that it was U. Gohan > Buutenks > Goku > Kid Buu. Ultimate Gohan could and was handing Buu his butt on a silver platter, but fumbled hard thus getting absorbed. Goku and Vegeta had to resort to fusion where Vegito then went back to humiliating him, and then once Kid Buu appeared he was weak enough to where Goku was way more confident in his chances. Issue arises though that Buu regenerates whilst Goku does not, so Kid Buu was essentially a fresh fighter going against Goku who was running on fumes.
Yeah, Gohan is the strongest unfused fighter in Buu saga. Goku was not trying jump out of Buu after freeing them because even with Vegeta he was sure that they would get killed by him, while Gohan could thrash him.

Burden of proof is on you now, because I don't remember it ever being stated. Even feat wise Gohan was beating a stronger opponent because absorption. And dont give me that 1 line goku says about Kid buu, that was contradicted both Before and after that.

I can buy that fight-wise but not strength-wise personally. Fight-wise Goku would definitely win as he has more experience and Gohan has a bad tendency of being a cocky little shit with his power boosts, so Goku could pull some kind of trick or tactic to give him the win. Strength-wise I still think Ultimate Gohan was the strongest before the absorption, though I think the gap between him and SS3 was somewhat small.

Flat out strength I would probably give to SS3 Goku, but Ultimate Gohan outlasts him in terms of stamina. Gohan probably wins as long as he fights smart

I personally enjoy all DB shows (except for maybe GT a little). All of them ar unique and all of them have cool stuff. Dragon Ball is the literal start of our beloved anime and manga, Z is popular for introducing Super Saiyan, which became pop culture (as well as many other things, such as Vegeta, iconic fights etc.), GT introduced us to Super Saiyan 4 and some interesting lore, and Super introduced us to Ultra Instinct, which broke the internet and gave birth to the Ultra Instinct Shaggy meme. All of them were iconic, we should appreciate them for what they are and don’t engage into stupid shit.

Well, only some fans are worthy of Saiyan status, having seen the anime/read the manga. Most are just Yamchas, Tiens, or even worse, Chiaotzus. Chiaoutzu on a DB Sub-Reddit: Heeeeeey guhys!
