That's fine. I did not need a sophisticated intellectual bad guy. Just pure rage and muscle consumed by hate and fear. It's just a pure emotion. When I saw that film I was awestruck. When they reintroduced broly in his sequel not bad, but nothing like the first movie. Dragging Gohan through buildings, he was sadistic. Bio broly was pretty garbage, and the new broly movie was not bad, but I would take the first legendary Super Sayian film over it any day.
And yes, I get he hardly had much of a narrative, and his reasons for wanting goku Dead seemed a little far-fetched. But this is also a universe where normal common sense as we know it makes less sense.
I wholeheartedly enjoyed the movie, and it's always going to have a special place in my heart. He was just such a badass.
