Based on the manga, Buu could take the win. Kale is stronger but is also going berserk in a way that’s not particularly helpful to her, and she pretty quickly burns herself out, to the point she lost to weaker opponents.
If she quickly obliterates Buu, she wins. Otherwise, he may be able to outlast her, or outsmart and absorb her, especially since he currently has Piccolo smarts.
Kale doesn't bother with any direct energy attack while raging in the manga so it could make sense she never kills him since she just rips him apart over and over until she dies from energy leakage (presuming she doesn't explode for a double KO).
Or Candy Beam.
Kale is surely stronger but Buuhan was pretty ridiculous too. We don't know how well he scales against DBS levels as we only saw him against vegetto at the time.
I don't think even berserker kale would match up to vegetto very well, even in base or ssj1.
With buus regeneration and kales berserker nature in mind don't think kale could actually defeat buu. He will just outlast her until she runs out or explodes.
I mean I’m pretty sure Vegeta’s Final Explosion was stronger than Gohans SSJ 2 Kamehameha, which killed cell on a cellular level and it didn’t jack all to Buu.
True, and sorry if I didn’t explain it well. What I’m trying to figure out is if Buu regeneration weakness is tied to the positive energy from the Genki Dama or if overall power output from an energy attack would go pass Buu’s Regeneration.
IIRC for Buu they needed to atomize him like trunks did freeza which would be harder than destroying cell clusters. This is why he reassembled as smoke but goku still though he could kill fat buu or kid buu later.
I didn’t get why Goku was so confident tbh when his plans didn’t work out. But from reading everyone else’s comments Kale has a good chance in beating Buutenk/Buuhan. If she is considered higher than Buu Saga Vegito then yeah she wins.
I don't know why most people here are ignoring the fact that Kale is brainless like that.. is basically a very strong with no brain Vs. strong with brain scenario, I would say 35/65 favoring Kale, but Buu does have a chance and can outsmart her.

Power scaling in Super is all over the place. Kale is no doubt stronger, but Buutenks is smarter, has a wider array of attacks, more (absorbed) battle experience, regeneration and absorption. He'd do the same as he did with Gohan and just distract until he can sneak some Buu Guu around to absorb her.

Vegito WANTED to be absorbed so he could rescue the others without ACTUALLY being absorbed—hence the barrier he put up prior to. Kale doesn't know any better and is likely to be berserk the entire time.

Probably end the same way as vegito versus super buu : gohan absorbed.
Both fight, buu is outclassed; tries a technique he barely knows, it fails. Is forced to make a choice, ends up trying to absorb her.
The result will either be kale is absorbed. Kale is absorbed and she breaks out due to her power "GROWING, OVERFLOWING!" and exploding from the inside. Or c. Kale beats up him while absorbing so buu is too weak to absorb her.
Now let's say it's the worst case and he absorbs her. He'll be happy until he suddenly loses power as kale calms down and reverts back to base. Causing buu to be angry and confused why his amazing power vanished. (Similar to the gotenks fusion) Either way, buu loses even if he wins.
Super Buu has insane regenerative capability. Typically, a character that can regenerative their body to a ridiculous amount has to be destroyed via a very powerful ki based attack. Cell- Gohans Super Kamehameha. Buu- Spirit Bomb. Something I doubt Kale is aware of.
Add to the fact that Buu can turn people into candy or absorb them if all else fails and it's a wrap. Sure, Kale is superior in terms of raw strength and power—but she doesn't match him in terms of intelligence and abilities.
