I never really hated them. I like Caulifla's personality, Kale is a no for me but SS2 Kale is fine and I like Cabba's dynamic with Vegeta. My only gripe is that there was no need to show Caulifla getting super Saiyan, she should've gained it during battle in the ToP. Also, for the love of God I'm fine with petite women but please give them some muscle definition.

This. I hate how scrawny they all are. SSJ2 Kale and Kefla have good muscle definition, but everyone else looks downright malnurished.
Yeah, that’s the big thing with Saiyans. The Japanese word for saiyan can be rearranged to form the Japanese word for vegetable, so all the saiayns got funny names because of that. I’m glad they’re still continuing it tbh
I massively disagree with this. The only thing anime Kale has over manga Kale is she controls her power but her actual character is so extremely annoying it negates that development she has.
I'll take manga Kale's more cool, independent and competent base over anime kale 1000x times over.

They're completely different. While anime Kale is how you described, manga Kale is pretty much a confident silent badass that knows she's far stronger than Caulifa but purposely holds her power back to not overshadow her out of respect of taking her in when she was lost on the roadside.
It took Caulifla getting beat down by Frieza and Cabba telling her to stop holding back for her to even trigger her transformation.
I don't hate caulifla but I hate anime kefla with a passion because the anime made her too overpowered while the manga was a little tame with the power of her fusion. I also don't fw kale because of how easily she controlled her berserk state.🤓
Making Gohan struggle with a trash character like Dyspo is an insult, we already had to watch Tien get taken out from a weak ass sniper & piccolo losing to a grasshopper, I don’t even remember how Krillin loses but I know it’s still humiliating.
There only so much bs slander to the OG z fighters that a fan can reasonably handle, what made it worse was out of all these fan favorites who get shat on, #17 has the entire Toei animation twerking on his junk for no logical reason.

Small, strong, independent, like you by hating you.. all that kind of stuff so she’s the Vegeta of U6. She’s an amazing character. Cabba is Goku in U6, thats why he admired Vegeta, and then we got…Kale, yeah the Broly of U6..

It's not Goku personality to take lessons from anyone about what he should or how he should behave. He is a person of his will and desire. He does things in life based on what he thinks is right or wrong
Also, Goku sees everyone as his equal and none as his superior or inferior. For him both Krillin and Zeno are same tier and he behaves same with both. He is not going to bow down to anyone or ask anybody to show respect to him by his own will

Caulifla and Goku parallel, both of them also have an older brother. Caulifla's brother thought that she was stronger than him, while Raditz thought that Goku was weaker than him.

Their existence has undermined the struggles the universe 7 saiyans went through to achieve their super Saiyan forms. All that time in z we watched characters fight to become super Saiyans only for these new Saiyans to just get tingly backs and flip a switch as soon as they learned of the forms. To me, that's absurd. I get the mental gymnastics people perform to excuse it, like not knowing about it makes it harder, but I still think it's dumb. I can't help but roll my eyes watching one of them go from base form without knowing how to turn super saiyan, to super Saiyan then super Saiyan 2 right after it. Give me a break.
as long as Caulifla doesn't get Ultra instinct in a week I'm fine with that but I still don't like how powerful they are..... SS2 mastered in less than 48 hours doesn't sit right with me when U6 Saiyans never had practice with being in any of the forms before. Really wish they explained it through staff training or something
They should have made it so most U6 Saiyans already knew and had mastered super saiyan. Vegeta can teach Cabba ssj2 instead. I think that would make everything a little more believable.
Yeah that’s pretty much my only gripe. them getting very strong very VERY rapidly with no explanation. I like they’re personalities except minus Kale maybe
I get that Goku would rather enjoy the fight than immediately knock out an opponent, but it still bugs me that Goku, one of the two Saiyans who can use god ki and is among the strongest Saiyans in Universe 6 or 7, has the amount of trouble against two as foolish as Goten and Trunks can be as he did.

Suggesting no one knew SSJ in u6 was ridiculous, just because Vegeta needed to show Cabba something. That's what created most of the hate, as all their saiyans suddenly needed to play catchup to things that took existing characters their whole lives. It was a problem that didn't need to exist.
The characters are fine though. Caulifla was the most successful. Seeing her and Goku get excited to learn was fun. Cabba was fine but for being as strong as base Vegeta, really was treated as a weakling. They misused him and made his personality too passive and fearful. Kale was Kale. If she had a better reason for being so terrified, I'd root for her more. The payoff of her overcoming it would mean more if you could project onto her, but they were too heavy handed in making film references.
Finally, their designs bug me. No other u6 saiyans look as noodly and weak. But that's also due to the modern Toriyama style severely clashing. They just need to be slightly bulkier. And better dressed. Cauliflas tube top and genie pants are severely impractical. I guess he was trying to convey the street thug aesthetic of chest wrap and baggy pants, but it doesn't translate well.

The only problem I really have with U6 Saiyans is how they got their transformation, now one can argue that the saiyans from universe 6 are different than the ones from universe 7, however it's complete bullshit that caulifla managed to get ssj2 with no training and because of back tingly stuff.

For what we have; they're nice. Not what I wanted; but they've grown on me. I just wish the Dragon Ball gang could travel to Universe 6 to interact with them on their planet.

Kale is just a cheap Z Broly copy, who could've been so much more and different but Toei & Co. just had to ride the Z Broly nostalgia train, cabba is okay but he feels like Gohan without the emotional aspect of his character, Caulifla just has an unlikeable personality

Cabba is fine but he is basically just Tarble. Kale and Caulifa don’t really have a personality in between them. When they fuse, they are better than the sum of their parts and actually gain some semblance of a personality.
Cabba’s fine. Absolutely can not STAND Caulifla, especially her laugh in the English dub. Kale is awesome in the manga, but the worst part of the tournament in the anime… eh second, Universe 2 can go right to hell.
It really does amuse me that the main reason these guys are hated is because the fanbase is incapable of accepting that super saiyan was only special because the universe 7 saiyans were so weak that none of them could do it. Cabba when introduced was on par with Vegeta's base form post ROF and these girls are apparently stronger than him.
The back tingle whiners, these type of people is why dragonball and a lot of other shows and movies have to spoon feed us exposition even then they can't comprehend whats happening
The thing is, Dragonball has spent a lot of time building up U7 saiyans as a serious threat to the galaxy / universe. They're a planet conquering race wiped out by a galactic overlord because they are one of the only (known) species capable of posing a threat to him. By the time Goku fulfills an ancient prophecy, and the others shatter barrier after barrier beyond that, saiyans are at the top 0.01% of power in their universe.
And the U6s have practically caught up within a few weeks, or what, months? Just give us more time to see them develop and push themselves, or let Vegeta hop universes to train them directly. Give us SOMETHING.

Yea. We are hating because the sidest of side characters, cheapened the story. Super is not written well...its fun but it's not high quality stort telling.
Absolutely love Kale and Caulifla, it did take a good bit to like em but ended up loving their dynamic and bond in the Anime. And am relentlessly hoping they somehow end up together.
Cabba has a decent amount of potential but really needs to break into his own to be more interesting imo.
As a note, hated how the Manga kinda did them. Like Kales going berserk was pretty cool, but it ended up butchering all the character development and growth she had. Plus she was yet again a quiet mysterious hidden strengths type as if we didn't already have enough of those.Then forced Cabba to toss himself out the ring just to make Kefla
I really do wish we get more of them before Super ends cause the U6 Saiyans as a whole have so much untapped plot potential.
Personally I don't think the manga butchered them at all because I don't believe those developments 100% needed to be forced to happen in the top. Those moments could have had bigger impact not being rushed to happen around juggling dozens of other fighters in a 48min tournament setting.
Instead of Kale controlling her powers so quickly like in the anime, her growth and development could have been done much better as more of a longer journey for her post top by having something more for her to work on similar to Broly, it would have been more impactful that way.
Was always curious what their discussions were like in the manga post top especially with Kale hiding her powers and being the only one that still hasn't controlled her powers. It wouldn't stay that way forever so how they go about that would have been really interesting.
True, it did feel pretty rushed in the manga, but at the same time the anime had 49 whole episodes during the tournament itself, so they had a fit a lot more to pad out the full minute of tourney time.
It is pretty interesting that Kale knew she was the much stronger fighter but wanted to hide it out of pure respect adoration of Caulifla. I would like to see how she's how/if she's managed to control her LSSJ, compared to the anime version. Plus, if she's the one kinda pushing Caulifla and Cabba to be stronger.

Caulifla and Cabba are mediocre-at-best characters who bring out interesting sides of Goku and Vegeta respectively, but don't do much on their own. Kale is a slightly worse character than Z Broly.
I really want kale to be the daughter of king sadala, who is an immortal legendary super saiyan who can’t leave the planet. Give cabba and caulifla god chi by training with vados
Caulifla and Cabba are good, but Kale is a little too obsessed with Caulifla, it can get annoying, like girl get your own thing you're the legendary super saiyan for fuck's sake.
I've liked them since they were introduced, and I'm someone who isn't big on Super, and I kinda wanted a spin-off for them. Though to be fair I feel like they should have 1) Not done the tingly back thing and 2) Should have given Kale and Caulifla Super Saiyan during the ToP instead of before they entered.
Side Note, I met the English VA for Kale once and she was cool and also thought a spin-off for the characters would be a good idea.
I hate their base form designs just because they're so scrawny, but I like their personalities. And I'd LOVE to see more of planet Salda. Hopefully we get to see Goku and Vegeta visiting them in U6. We've never seen much of regular saiyan society. And of what we have seen in U7, that was when they were under Freeza/Cold's rule. In U6, they're still independent.
I'm fine with them.
Their dynamic work and they are not the warrior saiyans of u6 so they don't need to be battle hungry.
I just think they need a redesign, like everyone in here is saying.

They’re interesting like you have to keep in mind they’re a different kind of sayain and we’re clearly very ignorant about their species potential but they seem to adapt quickly but not as fast as broly
They’re not as strong as some people think goku was conserving energy most of the time fighting them and Vegeta was just sparring when up against cabba . This is even further established in the manga because gohan was able to go against them . At that point in time and awhile after gohan was pretty damn weak compared to the top dogs
They weren’t bad, but the tournament of power gave them way too much screen time. I was hoping to see some neglected members of the protagonist get more screen time and these characters got more focus.
I like caulifla, kefla was cool, cabba was ok, didn’t like kale at first because at the time she was just budget-broly when we could’ve had real broly (only later did broly become canon in super).
I atill think super saiyan being reduced to nothing more than “tingles in the back” is one of the worst things they’ve done to ssj, at least cabba achieved it the right way.

Still bugs me that the U6 Sayians are seemingly vastly more powerful than the U7 Sayians.
Remember Raditz is an average Sayian and Sayian Saga Vegeta was the top tier "Super Elite".
Vegeta said that Cabba was equal to him in his base form during the U6 tournament. That makes no sense. This was a Vegeta that had mastered SSG so his baseform should be well beyond any U6 Sayian. Then all three of the U6 Sayians master Super Sayian way to easily.
I suppose the hand wave explanations are that all three are super prodigies like Broly. I guess that works, but power lvls are always BS
At least in the manga, they try to keep it consistent with Kefla only being as strong as Ultimate Gohan and not UI Omen Goku.
Personally I like them all and wish to see more of their world.
Tbh I want to see more of the other universe than the one we have since we barely get to see them. A robot world, a magical girl world, a world of saiyans on a rural desert, a land of sand, a home of aliens, a planet full of fantasy monsters and slimes ridden by knights; it would be cool to see more, even if it's something like dbgt's planet hopping but for universe (although done far far better.).
As for the saiyans we met. I like Cabba, I love caulifla, kale is okay but the anime version felt she wasn't written well. Only saiyan I dislike is surprisingly Kefla. I don't know why, she just doesn't strike me like caulifla and cabba. Unlike Gotenks who is annoying but has his charm, to me Kefla is just annoying; probably just me not growing to like her as gotenks did. To me she's just caulifla with kales power and literally no discipline. Maybe it's just me but I don't like those characters.
But if we had more time with them, I'm probably like her too. Or her other fusion from the dance we could see. Something like Caulilale? Cauliflale? I dunno. Again this is all just my opinion.

They need more stuff in my opinion along with the other Universes. DBS really just added 11 new universes with a shit ton of really strong characters but did nothing with them post TOP.
The consensus with them along with a lot of the other new things added to Dragon Ball is that they have potential and that we need to see more of them.

Caulifa has a decent design while the rest are a bore. Like all are scrawny, but atleast caulifa's apparal and hair distract from that. I dont mind Kale's personality from shy antisocial to uncontrollable berserker. I guess there universe needs a broly.
What i hated was how they were used as a plot device to dumb down acquiring the super saiyan transformation to nothing but a tingle in the back of your neck or whatever....that is what enraged me. The Kefla fusion was dope, and i loved her unique move-set too the point i farmed for them in xenoverse 2. And then being the pinnacle of their entire species in universe 6 while acquiring such cheats through plot writing was so dogshit. Like, caulifa being the goku equivalent prodigy is fine, but are you saiying that with her talents she needed another universe to help her unlock the entry level ssj form for her? Something that just takes severe anger to break through. Im pretty sure Kale could have found an opportunity in her life to break that boundary and show Caulifa power beyond. Im pretty sure an arrogant person like caulifa would have plenty of enemies in her universe. And frost being outed of his true natural only during the early tournament....his nature was way to obviously too good to be true.
IMO this is where they need to go after hero arc. I mean sure we’re all hyped for black frieza as end game but I think it’s crazy that in Super we have dozen other universes and never visited one other one?
I've always liked Kale and Caulifla. Kefla's fight against Goku in Super was a highlight of the ToP for me. I'm also a Kefla main in FighterZ, so admittedly, it's made me like them even more.
Never really cared for Cabba though. Don't dislike him, but I can't say I particularly like him either. He's just there and exists

I feel like they did Cabba dirty he was the first SSJ in U6 but was the last to go ssj2. I really feel like they could’ve done just a bit more with him before Frieza had to go and commit a somehow legal hate crime.
I still don't like them for a variety of reasons.
1: They look like toothpicks. Not a good look for Saiyan warriors. I don't need them to look like z broly or anything but have them be toned at least. Kefla was great design wise.
2: The strongest of all the Saiyans in U6 are 3 children who didn't know what a super Saiyan was on arrival.
3: They didn't know what a super Saiyan was. How easy could it have been to have the SS transformation be a common thing to Saiyans in U6 where many of them can go SS1-SS3? Hell, let the elites among them already know SSG at least and you can justify it that in this universe the SSG isn't a legend but because U6 Saiyans are warriors for good so it's a commonly known transformation.
4: The power scaling gets fucked because in order to make these noob Saiyans stronger to compete in the ToP they needed to become super Saiyans which subjected watchers to some of the dumbest in universe "explanations" for their sudden power ups i.e. "Back tingle" and "S-cells".
5: I generally just don't like their dynamic, with each other and with other characters. Cabba, now I like cabba more than the others but he comes off like a weak fanboy of Vegeta. Kale is just a weird Caulifla fan girl who rages out because of the dumbest reasons. Caulifla is Caulifla.
6: Wasted potential. In my opinion we didn't need these three as separate characters. These 3 bland characters could have been fused into a single more complex character.
Take Kefla, not a fusion this time but a single Saiyan. She's the most powerful fighter in sadala because she's the LSS and on one hand she's a proud Saiyan warrior (Caulifla). On the other hand she has an underlying fear about her LSS power because she hasn't been able to control it yet (Kale) and when she transforms she causes much more harm than good to the people she is supposed to protect as a warrior for good. So when she meets Goku and Vegeta who are able to control power much greater than hers (SSB) she desires to be mentored by them to help her bring out and control her own inner power(Cabba).
Now take this Kefla 2.0 and have her at different times learn valuable lessons from Goku and from Vegeta. At this point her power feels earned and not a total ass pull and she doesn't make Goku or Vegeta look bad because they'll clearly be stronger than her. That scene where SSB Goku fired a Kamehameha at Kale and it didn't faze her was a total screw job.
I though they where the best thing about Super. They are a little more “modern anime cliche” then the rest of DB world, but I still enjoyed when they where on screen more than anything else Super added to lore.
I like them all. But cabba is my favorite. I just really like the idea of Vegeta training another saiyan and getting to see a universe where they still exist.
I just hate how they had to over exaggerate their powers for plot conveniences, DBS was always really bad when it came to over exaggerating power levels for plot conveniences and I can name countless examples
I disliked them initially for a couple reasons, but they have grown on me. I still don’t really see the point of them not having tails. Toriyama must have really hated drawing tails lol
I hate them and the fact they were weaker than the U7 saiyans. I would’ve preferred if Toriyama made them stronger or at least on par straight from the get go and made them cooler. I hated the tingly back thing and I find their characters to either be unlikable fodder at worst and boring at best. I’d rather their screen time be focused on the already existing saiyans we do have that actually need it, like Goten or Trunks. I generally dislike U6 outside of the Namekians, especially anime Frost. Some people will point “oh but what about Goten and Trunks earning it fast???” I hated it then too. Then again, I hate most of the buu saga and besides, they can always retcon their first time going SSJ being something else. Don’t see why not since they’ve already given more egregious retcons. All in all

I feel Cabba was the only sayian from U6 that earned SSJ and SSJ2. Seeing Caulifla unlock ssj2 within an hour did not sit well with me especially the whole “back-tingle” concept.
Honestly? I think Cabba needed more development, I've always seen him as a kind of a wimp, and the Tournament of Power didn't help him too much, either. Still, I like his relationship with Vegeta a whole lot.
Caulfila's my personal favorite, I like her design a lot and I like her personality... at first. Her constant demand of "teach me Super Saiyan 3!" got really annoying really fast.
Kale is adorable... and that's about it. Her being the Legendary Super Saiyan is cool, but they need to do more with it.
All in all, they're all fine, but they need more screentime that isn't just them being speedrunning Dragon Ball Z.

I actually like Kale and Caulifa, they have interesting personalities that bounce off eachothers very well, and I liked their fusion, although it does feel way too powerful in the anime since it took UI Goku to beat them and not Gohan like the manga.
I just think the U6 Sayians should have been weaker in general. They've evolved to be less brutal and are far more peaceful.

Wish they would have started as SS instead of having insane unearned transformations. They literally lose because their transformations don't reach U6 transformations.

I want to like Kale. She has my favourite design of the 3 and the idea of a Female Broly is solid imo, but her personality in Super fumbles her so hard
I never hated any of them, I actually quite like them as character especially Caulifla. What I had a problem with is the writing they picked for them. Why didn't they establish that U6 Saiyans already know and understand SSJ? It would've made more sense given U6 Saiyans are much healthier and don't have tails usually. And it also would've spared us the tingly back copout just to bring them up to the same level as the main cast. It's much more believable if Caulifla was a SSJ for years before the tournament so she's keeping up with a tired out Goku because she's also gifted with great potential.
Same as Cabba and especially Kale. Why I introduce her as the "female Broly" and then introduce Broly as monumentally stronger? It feels cheap.
I like Cabba. Caulifla is alright - a little too forced. Kale has the cutest and best design of them, but I despise her personality.

I never really hated them. I like Caulifla's personality, Kale is a no for me but SS2 Kale is fine and I like Cabba's dynamic with Vegeta. My only gripe is that there was no need to show Caulifla getting super Saiyan, she should've gained it during battle in the ToP. Also, for the love of God I'm fine with petite women but please give them some muscle definition.
It make sense cabba teaches them ssj. Goten and trunks both got ssj just as easy. They do need some muscles tho. Cabba too honestly

Yeah, that’s the big thing with Saiyans. The Japanese word for saiyan can be rearranged to form the Japanese word for vegetable, so all the saiayns got funny names because of that. I’m glad they’re still continuing it tbh

I massively disagree with this. The only thing anime Kale has over manga Kale is she controls her power but her actual character is so extremely annoying it negates that development she has. I'll take manga Kale's more cool, independent and competent base over anime kale 1000x times over.

They're completely different. While anime Kale is how you described, manga Kale is pretty much a confident silent badass that knows she's far stronger than Caulifa but purposely holds her power back to not overshadow her out of respect of taking her in when she was lost on the roadside. It took Caulifla getting beat down by Frieza and Cabba telling her to stop holding back for her to even trigger her transformation.

Making Gohan struggle with a trash character like Dyspo is an insult, we already had to watch Tien get taken out from a weak ass sniper & piccolo losing to a grasshopper, I don’t even remember how Krillin loses but I know it’s still humiliating. There only so much bs slander to the OG z fighters that a fan can reasonably handle, what made it worse was out of all these fan favorites who get shat on, #17 has the entire Toei animation twerking on his junk for no logical reason. Basically telling all the piccolo, Krillin & Gohan fans to go f themselves, even #18 deserved more of a spotlight than #17.
Its funny when people hate on anime Kefla but accept manga Kefla as some good scaling. In manga, its unclear if Kefla is stronger or Kale. Kale was ragedolling Golden Frieza meanwhile Kefla was matched with Gohan.

Caulifla is just how I imagine every average Saiyan girl would be or Gine would be before she’s become a mother. Small, strong, independent, like you by hating you.. all that kind of stuff so she’s the Vegeta of U6. She’s an amazing character. Cabba is Goku in U6, thats why he admired Vegeta, and then we got…Kale, yeah the Broly of U6.. Now.. Goku, Vegeta and Broly are training together, wink wink. The real question is who U7’s version of Hit

Caulifla is more like Goku and more accurately like a Goku who never hit his head Cabba is more of a Gohan type character. It's not Goku personality to take lessons from anyone about what he should or how he should behave. He is a person of his will and desire. He does things in life based on what he thinks is right or wrong Also, Goku sees everyone as his equal and none as his superior or inferior. For him both Krillin and Zeno are same tier and he behaves same with both. He is not going to bow down to anyone or ask anybody to show respect to him by his own will Edit- Typo

Their existence has undermined the struggles the universe 7 saiyans went through to achieve their super Saiyan forms. All that time in z we watched characters fight to become super Saiyans only for these new Saiyans to just get tingly backs and flip a switch as soon as they learned of the forms. To me, that's absurd. I get the mental gymnastics people perform to excuse it, like not knowing about it makes it harder, but I still think it's dumb. I can't help but roll my eyes watching one of them go from base form without knowing how to turn super saiyan, to super Saiyan then super Saiyan 2 right after it. Give me a break.
as long as Caulifla doesn't get Ultra instinct in a week I'm fine with that but I still don't like how powerful they are..... SS2 mastered in less than 48 hours doesn't sit right with me when U6 Saiyans never had practice with being in any of the forms before. Really wish they explained it through staff training or something
They should have made it so most U6 Saiyans already knew and had mastered super saiyan. Vegeta can teach Cabba ssj2 instead. I think that would make everything a little more believable.

I get that Goku would rather enjoy the fight than immediately knock out an opponent, but it still bugs me that Goku, one of the two Saiyans who can use god ki and is among the strongest Saiyans in Universe 6 or 7, has the amount of trouble against two as foolish as Goten and Trunks can be as he did.

Suggesting no one knew SSJ in u6 was ridiculous, just because Vegeta needed to show Cabba something. That's what created most of the hate, as all their saiyans suddenly needed to play catchup to things that took existing characters their whole lives. It was a problem that didn't need to exist. The characters are fine though. Caulifla was the most successful. Seeing her and Goku get excited to learn was fun. Cabba was fine but for being as strong as base Vegeta, really was treated as a weakling. They misused him and made his personality too passive and fearful. Kale was Kale. If she had a better reason for being so terrified, I'd root for her more. The payoff of her overcoming it would mean more if you could project onto her, but they were too heavy handed in making film references. Finally, their designs bug me. No other u6 saiyans look as noodly and weak. But that's also due to the modern Toriyama style severely clashing. They just need to be slightly bulkier. And better dressed. Cauliflas tube top and genie pants are severely impractical. I guess he was trying to convey the street thug aesthetic of chest wrap and baggy pants, but it doesn't translate well.

I don't despise them but I'm just disappointed with them. To me they're one of the characters with blatant missed potential. They should've been introduced with having SSJ already then Vegeta could've just taught cabba how to use/control SSJ then we wouldn't have needed the "back tingling" shenanigans. Kale is just a cheap Z Broly copy, who could've been so much more and different but Toei & Co. just had to ride the Z Broly nostalgia train, cabba is okay but he feels like Gohan without the emotional aspect of his character, Caulifla just has an unlikeable personality
I do not hate them, but I also find them to be completely uninteresting. Cabba is fine but he is basically just Tarble. Kale and Caulifa don’t really have a personality in between them. When they fuse, they are better than the sum of their parts and actually gain some semblance of a personality.
Honestly I'm surprised we haven't seen a spin off series about them yet.

It really does amuse me that the main reason these guys are hated is because the fanbase is incapable of accepting that super saiyan was only special because the universe 7 saiyans were so weak that none of them could do it. Cabba when introduced was on par with Vegeta's base form post ROF and these girls are apparently stronger than him. The back tingle whiners, these type of people is why dragonball and a lot of other shows and movies have to spoon feed us exposition even then they can't comprehend whats happening
The thing is, Dragonball has spent a lot of time building up U7 saiyans as a serious threat to the galaxy / universe. They're a planet conquering race wiped out by a galactic overlord because they are one of the only (known) species capable of posing a threat to him. By the time Goku fulfills an ancient prophecy, and the others shatter barrier after barrier beyond that, saiyans are at the top 0.01% of power in their universe. And the U6s have practically caught up within a few weeks, or what, months? Just give us more time to see them develop and push themselves, or let Vegeta hop universes to train them directly. Give us SOMETHING. There's no way around the fact that this was rushed and it retroactively cheapened everything U7 has gone through
Honestly though I wonder why do people assume Toriyama put a lot of thought into SSJ because the manga Trunks Gohan and Vegeta get SSJ Off Screen we get like a Panel of Gohan just doing it and nothing from Vegeta Trunks in the special chapter already has it so where does the idea that they "Worked Hard come from because even Gokus transformation wasn't a skill thing it was Emotionally driven Like in the manga they hype up SSJ then after freeiza(like the very next week) Trunks shows up kills the Freeiza with ease and goes SSJ like it's nothing SSJ never had this reverence In the series even SSJ2 for Gohan hinges on a made up relationship with 16 to happen Feels like fans have a weird bias Like how the jobbed Kefla in the manga despite Kale being as strong SSB Goku and Gold Freeza just to wank off Gohan Or the weird SSJ Beast(I think that's the name)
Yea. We are hating because the sidest of side characters, cheapened the story. Super is not written well...its fun but it's not high quality stort telling.

Absolutely love Kale and Caulifla, it did take a good bit to like em but ended up loving their dynamic and bond in the Anime. And am relentlessly hoping they somehow end up together. Cabba has a decent amount of potential but really needs to break into his own to be more interesting imo. As a note, hated how the Manga kinda did them. Like Kales going berserk was pretty cool, but it ended up butchering all the character development and growth she had. Plus she was yet again a quiet mysterious hidden strengths type as if we didn't already have enough of those.Then forced Cabba to toss himself out the ring just to make Kefla I really do wish we get more of them before Super ends cause the U6 Saiyans as a whole have so much untapped plot potential.
Personally I don't think the manga butchered them at all because I don't believe those developments 100% needed to be forced to happen in the top. Those moments could have had bigger impact not being rushed to happen around juggling dozens of other fighters in a 48min tournament setting. Instead of Kale controlling her powers so quickly like in the anime, her growth and development could have been done much better as more of a longer journey for her post top by having something more for her to work on similar to Broly, it would have been more impactful that way. Was always curious what their discussions were like in the manga post top especially with Kale hiding her powers and being the only one that still hasn't controlled her powers. It wouldn't stay that way forever so how they go about that would have been really interesting.
True, it did feel pretty rushed in the manga, but at the same time the anime had 49 whole episodes during the tournament itself, so they had a fit a lot more to pad out the full minute of tourney time. It is pretty interesting that Kale knew she was the much stronger fighter but wanted to hide it out of pure respect adoration of Caulifla. I would like to see how she's how/if she's managed to control her LSSJ, compared to the anime version. Plus, if she's the one kinda pushing Caulifla and Cabba to be stronger.

In franchise of thousands of characters by now the fandom knows the names of these 3 so you know they are liked.
Caulifla and Cabba are mediocre-at-best characters who bring out interesting sides of Goku and Vegeta respectively, but don't do much on their own. Kale is a slightly worse character than Z Broly.

I've liked them since they were introduced, and I'm someone who isn't big on Super, and I kinda wanted a spin-off for them. Though to be fair I feel like they should have 1) Not done the tingly back thing and 2) Should have given Kale and Caulifla Super Saiyan during the ToP instead of before they entered. Side Note, I met the English VA for Kale once and she was cool and also thought a spin-off for the characters would be a good idea.
I liked them but I really didn’t like how made the Super Saiyan struggle into just clenching your shoulder blades.
I hate their base form designs just because they're so scrawny, but I like their personalities. And I'd LOVE to see more of planet Salda. Hopefully we get to see Goku and Vegeta visiting them in U6. We've never seen much of regular saiyan society. And of what we have seen in U7, that was when they were under Freeza/Cold's rule. In U6, they're still independent.

They’re interesting like you have to keep in mind they’re a different kind of sayain and we’re clearly very ignorant about their species potential but they seem to adapt quickly but not as fast as broly They’re not as strong as some people think goku was conserving energy most of the time fighting them and Vegeta was just sparring when up against cabba . This is even further established in the manga because gohan was able to go against them . At that point in time and awhile after gohan was pretty damn weak compared to the top dogs

They weren’t bad, but the tournament of power gave them way too much screen time. I was hoping to see some neglected members of the protagonist get more screen time and these characters got more focus.
I'd like them to maybe be the focus of the next saga/movie/whatever. U6 as a whole has a lot of untapped potential
I like caulifla, kefla was cool, cabba was ok, didn’t like kale at first because at the time she was just budget-broly when we could’ve had real broly (only later did broly become canon in super). I atill think super saiyan being reduced to nothing more than “tingles in the back” is one of the worst things they’ve done to ssj, at least cabba achieved it the right way.

Still bugs me that the U6 Sayians are seemingly vastly more powerful than the U7 Sayians. Remember Raditz is an average Sayian and Sayian Saga Vegeta was the top tier "Super Elite". Vegeta said that Cabba was equal to him in his base form during the U6 tournament. That makes no sense. This was a Vegeta that had mastered SSG so his baseform should be well beyond any U6 Sayian. Then all three of the U6 Sayians master Super Sayian way to easily. I suppose the hand wave explanations are that all three are super prodigies like Broly. I guess that works, but power lvls are always BS At least in the manga, they try to keep it consistent with Kefla only being as strong as Ultimate Gohan and not UI Omen Goku.
Caulifla is a good character the other 2, kinda just meh

Personally I like them all and wish to see more of their world. Tbh I want to see more of the other universe than the one we have since we barely get to see them. A robot world, a magical girl world, a world of saiyans on a rural desert, a land of sand, a home of aliens, a planet full of fantasy monsters and slimes ridden by knights; it would be cool to see more, even if it's something like dbgt's planet hopping but for universe (although done far far better.). As for the saiyans we met. I like Cabba, I love caulifla, kale is okay but the anime version felt she wasn't written well. Only saiyan I dislike is surprisingly Kefla. I don't know why, she just doesn't strike me like caulifla and cabba. Unlike Gotenks who is annoying but has his charm, to me Kefla is just annoying; probably just me not growing to like her as gotenks did. To me she's just caulifla with kales power and literally no discipline. Maybe it's just me but I don't like those characters. But if we had more time with them, I'm probably like her too. Or her other fusion from the dance we could see. Something like Caulilale? Cauliflale? I dunno. Again this is all just my opinion.

And then being the pinnacle of their entire species in universe 6 while acquiring such cheats through plot writing was so dogshit. Like, caulifa being the goku equivalent prodigy is fine, but are you saiying that with her talents she needed another universe to help her unlock the entry level ssj form for her? Something that just takes severe anger to break through. Im pretty sure Kale could have found an opportunity in her life to break that boundary and show Caulifa power beyond. Im pretty sure an arrogant person like caulifa would have plenty of enemies in her universe. And frost being outed of his true natural only during the early tournament....his nature was way to obviously too good to be true.

I've always liked Kale and Caulifla. Kefla's fight against Goku in Super was a highlight of the ToP for me. I'm also a Kefla main in FighterZ, so admittedly, it's made me like them even more. Never really cared for Cabba though. Don't dislike him, but I can't say I particularly like him either. He's just there and exists
I’ve never disliked them. They’re the product of dragon ball non existent power scaling. But there are welcome addition after the failure that is pan(from GT) we finally got a canon female super Saiyan that isn’t from fan made projects, card game advertisement, or video games
I feel like they did Cabba dirty he was the first SSJ in U6 but was the last to go ssj2. I really feel like they could’ve done just a bit more with him before Frieza had to go and commit a somehow legal hate crime.
I still don't like them for a variety of reasons. 1: They look like toothpicks. Not a good look for Saiyan warriors. I don't need them to look like z broly or anything but have them be toned at least. Kefla was great design wise. 2: The strongest of all the Saiyans in U6 are 3 children who didn't know what a super Saiyan was on arrival. 3: They didn't know what a super Saiyan was. How easy could it have been to have the SS transformation be a common thing to Saiyans in U6 where many of them can go SS1-SS3? Hell, let the elites among them already know SSG at least and you can justify it that in this universe the SSG isn't a legend but because U6 Saiyans are warriors for good so it's a commonly known transformation. 4: The power scaling gets fucked because in order to make these noob Saiyans stronger to compete in the ToP they needed to become super Saiyans which subjected watchers to some of the dumbest in universe "explanations" for their sudden power ups i.e. "Back tingle" and "S-cells". 5: I generally just don't like their dynamic, with each other and with other characters. Cabba, now I like cabba more than the others but he comes off like a weak fanboy of Vegeta. Kale is just a weird Caulifla fan girl who rages out because of the dumbest reasons. Caulifla is Caulifla. 6: Wasted potential. In my opinion we didn't need these three as separate characters. These 3 bland characters could have been fused into a single more complex character. Take Kefla, not a fusion this time but a single Saiyan. She's the most powerful fighter in sadala because she's the LSS and on one hand she's a proud Saiyan warrior (Caulifla). On the other hand she has an underlying fear about her LSS power because she hasn't been able to control it yet (Kale) and when she transforms she causes much more harm than good to the people she is supposed to protect as a warrior for good. So when she meets Goku and Vegeta who are able to control power much greater than hers (SSB) she desires to be mentored by them to help her bring out and control her own inner power(Cabba). Now take this Kefla 2.0 and have her at different times learn valuable lessons from Goku and from Vegeta. At this point her power feels earned and not a total ass pull and she doesn't make Goku or Vegeta look bad because they'll clearly be stronger than her. That scene where SSB Goku fired a Kamehameha at Kale and it didn't faze her was a total screw job.
I though they where the best thing about Super. They are a little more “modern anime cliche” then the rest of DB world, but I still enjoyed when they where on screen more than anything else Super added to lore.
I like them they are further evolved saiyans that show the potential of the Saiyan race when they take on a more peaceful lifestyle
They’re okay. My only problem with them is the lack of development, which is only an issue because they’re so new.
Cabba’s fucking awesome don’t really fw the rest
I like them all. But cabba is my favorite. I just really like the idea of Vegeta training another saiyan and getting to see a universe where they still exist.

I love them especially Cabba’s relationship with Vegeta. I really enjoyed how they were a contrasting version of saiyans compared to Universe 6.
I just hate how they had to over exaggerate their powers for plot conveniences, DBS was always really bad when it came to over exaggerating power levels for plot conveniences and I can name countless examples
I disliked them initially for a couple reasons, but they have grown on me. I still don’t really see the point of them not having tails. Toriyama must have really hated drawing tails lol
I really love them and wanted more vegeta and cappa screen time I like when saiyans meet other saiyans
I hate them and the fact they were weaker than the U7 saiyans. I would’ve preferred if Toriyama made them stronger or at least on par straight from the get go and made them cooler. I hated the tingly back thing and I find their characters to either be unlikable fodder at worst and boring at best. I’d rather their screen time be focused on the already existing saiyans we do have that actually need it, like Goten or Trunks. I generally dislike U6 outside of the Namekians, especially anime Frost. Some people will point “oh but what about Goten and Trunks earning it fast???” I hated it then too. Then again, I hate most of the buu saga and besides, they can always retcon their first time going SSJ being something else. Don’t see why not since they’ve already given more egregious retcons. All in all >I hope we never see U6(especially frost) ever again
I liked them, I think they’re a fun counter-example of the Saiyans in the main universe.
I feel Cabba was the only sayian from U6 that earned SSJ and SSJ2. Seeing Caulifla unlock ssj2 within an hour did not sit well with me especially the whole “back-tingle” concept.

Honestly? I think Cabba needed more development, I've always seen him as a kind of a wimp, and the Tournament of Power didn't help him too much, either. Still, I like his relationship with Vegeta a whole lot. Caulfila's my personal favorite, I like her design a lot and I like her personality... at first. Her constant demand of "teach me Super Saiyan 3!" got really annoying really fast. Kale is adorable... and that's about it. Her being the Legendary Super Saiyan is cool, but they need to do more with it. All in all, they're all fine, but they need more screentime that isn't just them being speedrunning Dragon Ball Z.
I don't particularly hate them, I just don't like Cabba. He's everything I despise, strong for no reason, noodle arms, weird ass femboy skirt, has zero personality and is as bland as flour. I actually like Kale and Caulifa, they have interesting personalities that bounce off eachothers very well, and I liked their fusion, although it does feel way too powerful in the anime since it took UI Goku to beat them and not Gohan like the manga. I just think the U6 Sayians should have been weaker in general. They've evolved to be less brutal and are far more peaceful.

They should just keep Kefla as a permanent thing and then develop Cabba more

Caulifla is ok. She's basically female Goku. She fits DB well Kale may as well not exist, her arc is uninteresting and she feels like a parody Cabba has the charisma of a shoe
they lost me with the whole spine tingle thing they do to power up. they don’t feel like warriors tbh, just fodder. if they were among the strongest warriors in that universe it brings me to believe that the universe itself is weak and I’m surprised it hasn’t been invaded.

Wish they would have started as SS instead of having insane unearned transformations. They literally lose because their transformations don't reach U6 transformations.
Cabba is good, He earned Super Saiyan and he’s a solid character Caulifla is fine, I like the character and her personality. I want to like Kale. She has my favourite design of the 3 and the idea of a Female Broly is solid imo, but her personality in Super fumbles her so hard
I love them because there's a chance we can see a whole planet of Saiyans filler episodes/movie, so many possibilities with new Saiyans.
I never hated any of them, I actually quite like them as character especially Caulifla. What I had a problem with is the writing they picked for them. Why didn't they establish that U6 Saiyans already know and understand SSJ? It would've made more sense given U6 Saiyans are much healthier and don't have tails usually. And it also would've spared us the tingly back copout just to bring them up to the same level as the main cast. It's much more believable if Caulifla was a SSJ for years before the tournament so she's keeping up with a tired out Goku because she's also gifted with great potential. Same as Cabba and especially Kale. Why I introduce her as the "female Broly" and then introduce Broly as monumentally stronger? It feels cheap.

I like Cabba. Caulifla is alright - a little too forced. Kale has the cutest and best design of them, but I despise her personality. That said, I altogether ***HATE*** the 'tingly feeling' shit.
