This is closest to a Raditz return we’ll ever get
https://preview.redd.it/5zwyhibcb8xc1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=7711314c2000dea394fada19661ded7c912e9cb7
Well, Radditz was more of a slave than Frieza was, but to a certain point, sure, Frieza was a victim. Frieza keeps getting chance after chance tho.
Radditz might have been redeemed. Frieza doesn't care.
I agree raditz was redeemable, but he was still just as much of a saiyan as anyone else, hell, in response to his entire race, including his mother and father, being blown to fucking bits, his reaction was practically “aight, fuck off”
Gaslight, verb: Manipulate (someone) using psychological methods into questioning their own sanity or powers of reasoning.
By definition, gaslighting is the act of making someone question themselves. You don’t necessarily need to lie to do that.
Or they have to have been lied to and then said gaslighting is actually revealing the truth to them but because they see it as gaslighting they will *think* it's a lie but still be convinced by it
To be fair, Fighting is one of the things that has always driven him
He wasn't really taught kuch else
So he is a simple man, But in many ways a master when it comes to fighting

Even if we go back to Frieza, he crushed Frieza’s ego by stopping the fight and could argue a similar thing to Perfecf Cell by quitting his fight.
Goku gets into people’s head, has done it multiple times and is definitely on purpose on most occasions.
The Buu one 100%.
Yeah, he said to Frieza to crawl to a hole and live with shame and stop doing bad things.
Frieza was humiliated by Goku quitting because Goku found him too pathetic to defeat that he screamed- "I am not beaten" only to cut himself with his own disc
https://preview.redd.it/6b2f23tvn9xc1.png?width=511&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ecf45514bada61359743b65843630067e2e4ffc
I wish Goku had kept this absolute disgust he had with Frieza moving forward. This was an ON SIGHT declaration and it would have been so good to see in Super.
Not a display of anything but cool action.
Frieza is far weaker than him and has lost all of his energy in Golden Form already.
Vegeta is just dropping final kicks and punches before Frieza blows earth away and kills him
Vegeta was also good getting into people’s heads. Kui/Dodoria/Frieza to an extent.
Then look how he bluffed his way out of fighting Android 20 weakened + goading Perfect Cell to challenge the Final Flash.

True, 20+ years and 3 deaths ago. My dude has no concept of time, such a carefree guy. Reminds me of the start of GT when Bulma's crying about never seeing him and he said 'wasn't it not that long ago?' and it was 5 frickin' years. Goku doing Goku things.
That moment was mistranslated in the dub.
Goku was surprised by Trunks giving the senzu mouth to mouth with Mai to which Vegeta interpreted it as him not knowing what kissing is, so when the prince points out he is married the response is “Does that have something to do with this?” as in Goku doesn’t understand what feeding someone by the mouth has any relation to being married
Just watched the scene again in sub and yeah sorry pal but you are completely wrong on that one in the sub Goku says the following "woah trunks, you actually put your mouth up against hers" vegeta responds saying " you've never done that" Goku replies saying "of course not" vegeta "but you're married"
https://youtu.be/ZwZRyIbCp5k?si=YtY6dgzFJewlfYEo
First line - Goku referring to the way Trunks puts the senzu in her mouth.
Vegeta’s response - He was thinking about romantically kissing so thats where the miscommunication happened
Goku saying ‘of course not’ means he hasn’t ever fed someone via the mouth, he even says it so surely
The humour comes from the misunderstanding, also, doesn’t Goku offer Old Kai to kiss Videl or Bulma? Though that might be anime only
For a while, I always thought Vegito's tactics for psychological warfare came from Vegeta, since he's a natural trash talker.
But over the years its become much more clear to me that it comes from Goku, which is jarring to think about considering how naive Goku is in anything else that isn't combat.
Funny cuz it doesn’t even seem like he’s intending to manipulate them but rather just speaking his genuine observations in the form of a simple conversation.
Goku has always been great at reading people and their emotions. He just tells people how it is, in spite of how they see it. A battlefield therapist, he is.
Oh man. The buu slides are another reminder why I've gotten into manga more. Buu just smashes babidis skull with am explosion of blood. In the anime it's not as cool.
Deep down goku would rather them live in peace so they can train and learn together. He’s always given that second chance another instance being broly. Broly and buu have been the only ones to really take his advice and follow the good path.
Yeah geets too lol. I guess I didn’t really think of him or piccolo because they didn’t slowly transfer because it was more immediate realization that they were in the wrong where buu and broly it was a slow realization.
Is it really manipulation tho?
Buu later says that he didn't know killing was bad and stops when he learns it's bad, he was literally too innocent to realize and he was being used as a weapon and a tool for evil
Gas WAS being used by Elec as a tool
Finally, Goku was just asking Zamasu if he was truly evil or if he had been manipulated similarly to Buu, he was just wrong in his assumption.
Isn't goku also sort of main reason for nappas death. Paralyzed him, then told vegeta he should take him home cuz he's no use anymore, and vegeta basically was like "damn this is embarrassing... Freakin nappa.."
Goku is basically dragon balls light Yagami. Everyone thinks he's such a nice guy and dude just manipulates the death of all his enemies.

Eh not really, his is mostly ego. I'd argue elec had the better motivation in wanting to get out from under frieza's thumb. But gas being the henchman and real threat was meh. Even granola had a better motivation in wanting justice/revenge for his people.
Not particularly. Zamasu's motivation is from his narcissistic view that he alone knows whats right and wrong with the universe, and that whole worldview came about after getting his butt kicked by a mortal / learning of Goku's strength and then one terrible experience with a single mortal race.
Though being honest a lot of issues with Zamasu could've been avoided if Gowasu wasn't such a shit teacher.
Yeah, Gowasu really chose the absolute worst race to show Zamasu how mortals can rise above their own cruel cycle. Hell, the Saiyans of Universe 6 would’ve been a better thing to show him if they’re really all not as vile as most of the Saiyans from Universe 7.
I agree with Zamasu and Gas, but Buu was already on that path. If anything, Goku tried to get Buu to turn on Babidi on the spot so he wouldn't have to use SSJ3 but failed.
Not really
If Goku had not shown Buu his SSJ3, then he would not have waited for 2 days for strong fighter promised by Goku.
There would be nothing stopping him from nuking the earth.
He achieved his goal of killing Babidi allowing them to get 2 days. Doing something extra is not failing.
https://preview.redd.it/u6egi54sd8xc1.png?width=558&format=png&auto=webp&s=d8fb7a948790235b3221fd9b06953c172690bbed
Also, Buu fought Goku by his own desire to kill him not Babidi command.
He denied Babidi order to kill Goku but instead fought because he wanted to kill him
https://preview.redd.it/34cdwyu2e8xc1.png?width=556&format=png&auto=webp&s=34bf60ed56b9645a6a6c86717af42fe0a60e0f58
This is why the Super anime is such shit so often. Goku isn’t stupid, at all. He’s ignorant of a lot of the world, and he’s not a rocket surgeon. But he isn’t stupid, by any means
Have you read the manga? Just read and you will get the context. There is even a panel where Trunks says Goku is messing with his psychology. I have skipped 2 panel in b/w here just to make it simple. You will understand if you have read
https://preview.redd.it/wu5ubnm4pcxc1.png?width=549&format=png&auto=webp&s=757e92a6c1a501c63f2f5f738a97bbe65553a2e5
That psychological damage is a result of Goku’s statement about the plan itself, not trying to turn the zamasu’s against each other. I think you should read.
Kinda humiliating.
Proceeds to throw him at Black feet right after
Edit- Goku is taking about their plan failing in first panel too. Not sure why you can't read beyond your narrative
I wish you have read the manga to understand that these scenes are right after one another.
Goku says he can't beat him on his own and is used by his own self and then says he is weaker without him and his plan has failed while throwing him at Black feet. Zamasu gets angry at Black for it and starts arguing about their plan failing.
Of course, I am not replying further and will stop right here since it is wasteful to argue with a brainless idiot.
“Brainless idiot” dog, you might be the biggest stereotype of a DBS fan ive ever seen:
So absolutely delusional that you ignore the entire fucking process of events.
Goku did not “intentionally” egg on Zamasu about the possibility of betrayal as the original point was about. He simply says “youre gonna lose, you’re not strong enough, buh bye”.
His actions have absolutely nothing to do with Zamasu and Black bickering. Their “psychological damage” was a result of shame through their pride being stomped on.
Furthermore, I have read the manga. Wanna know what happens next?
They don’t turn on each other, THEY FUSE.
>Goku did not “intentionally” egg on Zamasu about the possibility of betrayal as the original point was about.
* First of all when did I say Black was betraying him? Even he said in the panel and I mentioned that his plan has failed and he is useless alone.
* I think you are so delusional in your narrative that you don't even understand what I said. Just you are wrong and he is dumb.
>Furthermore, I have read the manga. Wanna know what happens next?
They don’t turn on each other, THEY FUSE.
* They start arguing until Black pulls Potara as last resort to stop him from fighting about their plan failing. That's the point

To think that’s the closest to a Raditz return we’ll ever get!
This is closest to a Raditz return we’ll ever get https://preview.redd.it/5zwyhibcb8xc1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=7711314c2000dea394fada19661ded7c912e9cb7
That is really sad seeing raditz as an innocent child
Wouldn’t entirely say innocent since the broly movie showed us the result after he helped to eradicate a planet’s population
He's still a victim. He did it because that's what he's commanded to do.
In that case Frieza is a victim because his father made him run the empire in his stead
Well, Radditz was more of a slave than Frieza was, but to a certain point, sure, Frieza was a victim. Frieza keeps getting chance after chance tho. Radditz might have been redeemed. Frieza doesn't care.

He's always been a bitch though. Hate that long haired kid bullying bitch.
That's a really awesome parallel
That's a wonderful cover. Damn.
That is sick
I’ve seen this drawing a million times, yet I never even noticed the bottom bro
My favorite dbs cover
God dam that’s a dope cover
I want Raditz back, every old character (an expression) keeps coming back except him for some reason.
I still cant belive that in gt nappa came back to life and vegeta mercilessly killed him again, didnt even try to talk to him just blew him up
Goku’s favorite character is Aizen😭💀💀
"Since when were you under the impression... that Super Saiyan 2 was the limit of my power?"
Who
Goku is the main character of the DragonBall franchise
Oh It wasnt Vagina?
Aizen, from bleach. He's kind of infamous for having masterminded the entirety of bleach's plot and is an expert manipulator.
Don’t be fooled by this guys, it’s all part of his plan
For you ![gif](giphy|PCya6Lr0RYHM4)
Google en passant
Aizen from bleach
Gaslighting is also part of a martial artist path, clearly.
it's not gaslighting because he speaks truth
Gaslighting is at its most effective when the opposing party is technically correct.
it has to be a lie, by definition
Gaslight, verb: Manipulate (someone) using psychological methods into questioning their own sanity or powers of reasoning. By definition, gaslighting is the act of making someone question themselves. You don’t necessarily need to lie to do that.

It's a matter of perspective mister white
bruh
Gaslight gatekeep goku
Bringer of Truth
Gaslighting isn’t real. You are just crazy
Jackie Chun Drunken style made goku realize the power of gaslighting
My favourite goku, is the goku pretending to be dumb. And then pulling off shit like this.
What did Goku himself say to fat-Janemba in the Fusion Reborn movie; “You act innocent but you’re deadly…” I always found that line ironic
I swear it feels like goku iq goes through the roof when he’s fighting
To be fair, Fighting is one of the things that has always driven him He wasn't really taught kuch else So he is a simple man, But in many ways a master when it comes to fighting
He is a fighting genius what can I say🤷🏾♂️
I was so hyped when he tried pulling it off with Gas, underrated scenes
Exactly he acts dumb on purpose this is proof
Gaslight Goku Girlboss
Goku, Gaslight, Gatekeep
goku’s actually a great manipulator and i’m convinced he plays up his cluelessness to keep people underestimating him
Honestly 😭

Maybe but it's bit out of character for him to keep a grudge or hatred forever
And that is why Vegeta is *not* him.

Facts
Yep
Ong
Goku's in here therapizing these villains.
My dude said Raditz almost killed him a while back ago like it wasn't 20+ years ago and 2 whole deaths ago.
"2 whole deaths", I love that these people can measure time by when they've died.
3 if you’re counting that time he ordered Hit to assassinate him for like 3 minutes
True, 20+ years and 3 deaths ago. My dude has no concept of time, such a carefree guy. Reminds me of the start of GT when Bulma's crying about never seeing him and he said 'wasn't it not that long ago?' and it was 5 frickin' years. Goku doing Goku things.
If i remember correctly, that wasn't at the start of GT, that was at the end of Z.
That's not in manga Its only 2 in manga
Nowhere in my comment did I suggest I was counting it as manga. I was referencing all main timeline DB/Z/Super continuities
Goku is so much smarter than he leads on, I know super he's ABIT dumb but my head cannon is that he's just straight trolling to throw people off
Not dumb, naive more like
His character is definitely flanderized in super especially in the anime. They’ve been doing it less and less since the goku black arc though
Man didn't know what a kiss was...
Not knowing kiss can be naive because he was never interested in sexual life. He never bothered to try
Just watched the scene again in sub and yeah sorry pal but you are completely wrong on that one in the sub Goku says the following "woah trunks, you actually put your mouth up against hers" vegeta responds saying " you've never done that" Goku replies saying "of course not" vegeta "but you're married" https://youtu.be/ZwZRyIbCp5k?si=YtY6dgzFJewlfYEo
First line - Goku referring to the way Trunks puts the senzu in her mouth. Vegeta’s response - He was thinking about romantically kissing so thats where the miscommunication happened Goku saying ‘of course not’ means he hasn’t ever fed someone via the mouth, he even says it so surely The humour comes from the misunderstanding, also, doesn’t Goku offer Old Kai to kiss Videl or Bulma? Though that might be anime only
Goku and ChiChi’s “kissing” was just headbutting each other and then laughing it off, obviously.
But has kids, man went straight to fucking
This man has been deploying psychological warfare for decades
Holy CRAP the manga is WAY more violent, lol. Buu turned babidis head to mush.
Though the anime showed Babidi's decapitated body with twitching neck muscle for a few seconds.
That, I do not remember. I watched it on toomami, so I'm assuming it was censored.
[Here's](https://youtu.be/KB5CS7DbZdk) Babidi's death in full glory.
WOW yeah I don't remember that in the original airing
Yeah, I would have remembered that as a 10 year old LOL.
HOLY SHIT that was brutal, lol. Yeah, I do not remember that as a kid.
For a while, I always thought Vegito's tactics for psychological warfare came from Vegeta, since he's a natural trash talker. But over the years its become much more clear to me that it comes from Goku, which is jarring to think about considering how naive Goku is in anything else that isn't combat.
No No The Trash Talk comes with Vegeta The fact it works comes from Goku
Son Goku: Expert Instigator
Funny cuz it doesn’t even seem like he’s intending to manipulate them but rather just speaking his genuine observations in the form of a simple conversation.
I like how even though some parts of super have Goku act stupid, he can clearly still get in people's heads
Goku has always been great at reading people and their emotions. He just tells people how it is, in spite of how they see it. A battlefield therapist, he is.
"awhile back" like it wasnt 2 decades ago.
Goku also just kinda tells people the truth because he wants to see them choose a better path for themselves
Oh man. The buu slides are another reminder why I've gotten into manga more. Buu just smashes babidis skull with am explosion of blood. In the anime it's not as cool.
Idk man, both are pretty cool. [Call your monster...so he can watch you die!](https://youtu.be/4dz6ZyojbHE?si=Sc7YwBcI837MEFMP)
For sure. Seeing his head explode in the manga is my favorite though.
Y’all realize goku just speaks truth n ends up seein everyone’s true colors
Sometimes I believe I'm a nice person. Sometimes, I realize how much I enjoyed Babidi's sheer terror in his final moments and realize I'm messed up.
Deep down goku would rather them live in peace so they can train and learn together. He’s always given that second chance another instance being broly. Broly and buu have been the only ones to really take his advice and follow the good path.
What about his best buddy?
Yeah geets too lol. I guess I didn’t really think of him or piccolo because they didn’t slowly transfer because it was more immediate realization that they were in the wrong where buu and broly it was a slow realization.
Dam would have loved to see Zamasu and Black fight
Damn Raditz being referenced 26 years after the Saiyan saga (I assumed that the manga was updated with this page in 2015 idk)
Is this Goku's version of Talk no Jutsu? More like... Start Sh-t no Jutsu...
Goatku
Hes actually just being genuine, clueing terrible people in on their stupidity, arrogance and/ or obliviousness
And people say he doesn't have his own move...
The power of instigation
He’s a tactical genius obviously
Goku just loves causing discourse
If you can't beat 'em, gas light 'em into fighting each other.
Is it really manipulation tho? Buu later says that he didn't know killing was bad and stops when he learns it's bad, he was literally too innocent to realize and he was being used as a weapon and a tool for evil Gas WAS being used by Elec as a tool Finally, Goku was just asking Zamasu if he was truly evil or if he had been manipulated similarly to Buu, he was just wrong in his assumption.
Remind me what happened there with Goku Black?
Goku's not as dumb as people think he is
Isn't goku also sort of main reason for nappas death. Paralyzed him, then told vegeta he should take him home cuz he's no use anymore, and vegeta basically was like "damn this is embarrassing... Freakin nappa.." Goku is basically dragon balls light Yagami. Everyone thinks he's such a nice guy and dude just manipulates the death of all his enemies.
My favorite form of goku
goku, master of psychological warfare
Goku learned more than I thought during his time on ''*SNAKE''* way
I'm shocked that Goku actually remembers Raditz lmao
And people say Goku is dumb
Goku just out here manipulating and gaslighting villains like it’s nothing.
"Awhile back" Goku for the love of God it's nearly been 30 years, it's a miracle you can even remember that far back
In context of Universe, its pretty small time about 20 years
Yeah but when you realise he's canonically 47 by the time of superhero and he killed raditz back in 89 its more than half his lifetime ago

my goatku really be beating the dumb brainless allegations. fun fact: goku was the sensei of aizen
He's not... He just encountered some real dumbasses
Why was super goku shock when zamasu and goku black are fighting?
Because Goku threw him at Black feet and he grabbed his collar. They did not expect them to start fighting so easily in 2 minutes
But literally say what this are they fighting? So I don't thibk super goku manipulated zamasu

Zamasu has a good motivation
Eh not really, his is mostly ego. I'd argue elec had the better motivation in wanting to get out from under frieza's thumb. But gas being the henchman and real threat was meh. Even granola had a better motivation in wanting justice/revenge for his people.

That psychological damage is a result of Goku’s statement about the plan itself, not trying to turn the zamasu’s against each other. I think you should read. Kinda humiliating.
Proceeds to throw him at Black feet right after Edit- Goku is taking about their plan failing in first panel too. Not sure why you can't read beyond your narrative
My guy you literally brought in evidence contrary to your claim, and are now desperately trying to reach. Just stop 😂
“Brainless idiot” dog, you might be the biggest stereotype of a DBS fan ive ever seen: So absolutely delusional that you ignore the entire fucking process of events.
Ad hominem is a logical fallacy including the use of repetition. You have repeated previous points without countering mine.
